This fails to address the problem. Pj is, at best, a substandard player in the early game who would make a post like that as either alignment to start day 1 before going semi-inactive for the rest of the day. I know this, and you know this. I personally did not like Pj's approach and I don't like the way he plays. When I read your post, and then re-read it, it sunk in more as a "She's right, get him!", when you're the one person to already throw a tiny bit at him.

You went after into two people (the only two people with anything resembling an attack on them) with statements that felt forced to drum up support for them, in your only content post of the game.

I consider pressure/reaction votes to be sincere. They're an attempt to get a read on someone.

Joke votes, where you vote someone for absolutely no discernible reason or have no intention of looking into the person you're voting, those are what I find insincere.

IGCD's vote, for example.

Makes sense. in most games i assume everyone on day 1 is flailing around trying to push everyone else's buttons.

ben, chris, and red seem to be coming in weirdly hot and heavy, didn't know if that was specifically a b8 tradition. aecioo seemed jokey and crescent probing

You know what, you are right. I CAN see pj lying for no reason. It's all just a timing thing though that I ended up posting about pj and dyl at the same time. They were the posts that stood out to me.

Don't have a problem with your first reaction. Like how you're generating conversation right now instead of just continuing to complain.
Chris is continuing whatever he's up to on page 1.
Aecioo just made a joking comment, as did puns. Aecioo's second response seems to be suggesting I'm trying to buddy up to puns? I feel like if he was reaching that conclusion, he should have voted me? Assuming I'm reading him correctly of course.
No problem with Lea's response.

Initially I didn't like Crescent's focus on my comment. She talks about how the video is a "focus", but I made one post about it. She makes 4. However, her later posts makes me feel better about her as she seems focused on the content of multiple players and not just piling on.

Ben on the other hand just seems like a "Me too". Three people had said "I don't like that post", being the fourth one doesn't really add to the conversation at that point.

You're still missing the core problem though. The core problem is the way you jumped on. You took the attack on Pj seriously enough to demand explanation from someone you knew was just going to uncaringly shrug you off. You acted like it was a serious point of contention about him, and now you're backing off of that seriousness in a continued attempt to placate me. I don't like any of your responses to me so far.

Saying "I wasn't trying to copy you" was just unnecessary deflection that didn't address the issue. Saying "it just happened that way" isn't addressing the issue. It feels like a screen while you backpedal from the problem I took from your post to begin with.

If you want to stop talking about the video, that's fine by me. Here's a post only tangentially about it: Why are you assigning so much value to posts made during the jokey phase of the game? If you think people were trying to distract others with the joke post, take that logic further. What were they trying to distract people from?

At the time, I honestly did want pj to react to me calling his post a lie. I had forgotten that he posts and runs. And then I knew I would explain why I made that post when I was done raiding, even it it was no longer relevant.

It has not been that long in-game. We shouldn't be grilling people for inactivity outside of the opening couple pages or so just yet. It's after midnight for a large chunk of the world, after all. Now, if they're still inactive like this after 18 hours or so, yeah, go for it.

Something about this post bugged me when I first read it and continues to bug me now. I figured out why.

Pj nonsense posting early is pretty standard Pj. Pj is basically a useless player early in a game.

Ben was the one person to comment after Pj's post other than me, but gave nothing behind it.

I made my post that I didn't like it (I personally don't like it) about an hour later, but Ben didn't react until going after DYL/Pj together in the same post that felt like harping on them for minor things other people harped on them for.

Ben lays into Pj riding specifically what I said, when Pj was practically back out of the picture because no one else was latching onto it. I currently suspect Ben is scum and Pj is town if he is. Probably DYL too. Something has not felt right about Ben and the feeling has worsened.
