I think Hooters business model in general (and all these other restaurants who live off of hot waitresses) is kind of slimy and awful, and not something that personally appeals to me.

At the same time, that is literally why these restaurants exist. As long as there are girls willing to consent to it I'm not sure people have any grounds to complain about it. You can always work at another restaurant that's less gross, but being gross is Hooter's niche.

no one is being harassed or forced to work there and the idea of a sexy outfit that sells sexy looking chicks is not hidden. Its a core part of their business model.

this is like a broadway actress complaining about having to wear a C string after being told they would be required to wear a very revealing costume that could involve wearing a V string and pasties for part of the show..

(c string is a v string without the strings commonly found in shows and theater but rarely worn In real life).

...which is a stupid fucking remark considering there's a stigma around strip clubs that you don't find around Hooters because they're completely different establishments. Plus the food at a Hooters is likely far better than strip club food.

It's no different than an Actress signing on for a Love Scene, then the Director later on during filming telling him/her they will be replaced if they don't do an 'Oral' (real or fake) scene

your analogy is crap for your claim. Its not nudity or sex here and that is established as something completely different in Hollywood which has requires a specific nudity rider.

the actress didnt sign on for a love scene and its changed. Here the girls signed on to wear a skimpy uniform, there was no nudity there still is none.

the fact that they were already working there is irrelevant. An employer can change the uniforms of employees at any time. If a fried chicken place all of a sudden decided all their employees dress like chickens then too bad.

if you don't want to promote the brand how they want, then work as a waitress at the million other places that can't find anyone. a waitress will likely have their pick of a bunch of places now.

The top is nice, it shows cleavage very well, the bottom is meh. Also, this is typical far left complaining not Metoo.

That's really the ideal. Presumably there'll end up being some disparity in tips, which is unfortunate, but that's pretty much inevitable within the business model of "earn tips by being slutty to drunk guys." Those that are comfortable being sluttier will do better within that model, and there's really never going to be a way around that.

"Skimpy" has an enormous amount of room for subjective interpretation. Those that signed on before the uniform change signed on because they were comfortable with the old uniform. That does not in any way mean they're going to be comfortable with a skimpier uniform, nor should it.

I agree. That's why I never go to Hooters or strip clubs. Improper places and things like that shouldn't even exist. I don't understand them either, and think they should be considered crimes.

It's mostly the face. She looks very, very young. I'd be surprised if she's actually not an adult, so in truth it's probably okay, but she looks young enough that singling her out as the most attractive one is definitely giving off some "have a seat over there" vibes.

I would personally say the Asian girl looks youngest, but once again, I have 0 clue what her age is. Even me guessing on it or commenting on it feels silly. She could be anywhere from 18-30.

*Shrug* All I know is that my first thought on seeing her face was that I was looking at a young teenager. Actually considering it leads to the conclusion that a minor wouldn't be working at Hooters and it's probably fine, but that first impression was not at all "that's an adult," even beyond the consideration that 18-year-olds are actually pretty young-looking.

First off, you can barely see her face in that pic. But looking closely at her mouth, I'm getting the exact opposite. Looks like a lady probably in her 30s judging the crease by her mouth.

No one is forcing these girls to work there. They know exactly what they are getting into when applying for a job there. If they don't like it, they can leave, they aren't being held by gunpoint to work there.
