But also if you were to look at recent merch for the series (don't) there would absolutely be a character prominently featured who you have not seen yet.

i don't think that's ever been intended to be answered. it's just a part of the bermuda triangle trope. people are way too interested in that when it's probably one of the least interesting mysteries in the series

Now seeing that Luffy can see the future a bit thanks to his fight with Katakuri, it really makes me appreciate just how strong he is. Like, hes got a wide assortment of tools thanks to Haki.

Tangentially anime related, but I just saw that Clannad was on Switch which I never knew. I do think I should play this because of how well regarded it is, but it's just too hideous. Is there any chance this game will eventually get a release with an art pass?

Clannad's art style does look kind of off, but I think you'd get used to it after a little bit. The problem I had with Clannad was, after doing one of the big routes, I was satisfied and had no desire to see any of the others. I also remember there wasn't an easy way to skip through the stuff I'd already read but maybe I just didn't find it.

No, there's zero chance. If anything, it's more likely that Key's old games would get updated to look more like Clannad, since it's probably their best looking game.

I haven't played any. I've just seen a lot of the character art which is famously horrible. I'm looking at the pictures on the eShop now and it's baaaaad.

I understand it's supposed to have beautiful background art or something.

This looks like a parody of one of those "How to Draw Manga" book covers from the early 2000s.

There is no way for me to feel an emotional attachment towards characters that look like this.

Their eyes are too far apart imo. I still felt an emotional attachment to Kyou, though!

Isn't that basically the same art style as the anime? Not saying it's good, but the way you're talking about it I was expecting something much uglier.

I was randomly reminded of the fact that for years I thought Fairy Tail was written and illustrated by Oda. Like I thought he did Fairy Tail on the side whenever he got bored of One Piece... granted I barely paid attention to either back then, so maybe it was an easy mistake to make

After a very long and arduous hiatus, king of Jump Black Clover returns for its final arc!

I'm probably the only one with this problem. The latest chapter of JJK. The guy that was revealed at the end of the chapter was apparently someone that was previously beaten... and I completely forgot who it was, even seeing the face. I had to go look up who the hell it was.

And the bow guy with Maki right now, he's the guy that was in the flashback earlier in the chapter right? Either I'm going senile or the art is just bad. I have no trouble remembering the five thousand espadas and captains in Bleach. I have no problem remembering Akatsuki from Naruto. I have no problem remembering Fairy Tail guild members...

You are not the only one having this problem. JJK is a mess right now.

I'm pretty sure Bow guy is the blood guy from the other jujutsu school, just with a new haircut so he's impossible to recognize.

I think I'm like 90% up to speed with JJK now, but it took rereading the entire series this week.

I rewatched Phantom in the Twilight, which wasn't a great idea. I watched it when it was airing and remembered thinking it was decent. I couldn't recall much about it, though, so I figured what the heck, I'd give it another look. It still wasn't bad, it just isn't good either. Ton is an okay protagonist but she never did much. I mostly rewatched this because I remembered she was a strong character in an otherwise meh anime, so that was a disappointment. The real problem, though, was how repetitive it was, especially when watched straight through. Shinyao was kidnapped seven times in twelve episodes, I mean come on.

Have they mentioned why Weiss is the poster girl for this project? Unless they are adding new content surrounding her, Ruby's always been the defacto main lead. Weiss's main story arc really doesn't hit until Volumes 4-7 anyway.

Well...that explains it. Weiss having bitch fits against Ruby was most of Season 1. Her going petty edgelord would make sense.
