You are an edgelord, and boy am I a sucker for it. Just a cool character who wears an eyepatch. Has two guns. And dual pistols too. *swoons* In addition, you also do recon for The Lost Numbers / AKA The City / AKA Where The People Fuck (There's no sex in this world. It's a long story). Unfortunately, your only flaw is that you are super secretive and hate talking to people. So you will report the results of your missions directly to The City and stay out of it. Lets just hope the people you are working for have your best intentions in mind!
Oh yeah and your class is called FULL METAL JAGUAR. What a specimen.

Ability: Each night, you may select one of three actions. The only limit is that the same action cannot be used two nights in a row. However, in addition to selecting a target you want to scan, you must also select a target to SEND the scan results to. You cannot select yourself and will not see the results of your scan.
1. Track. Track a player and learn who they visited that night
2. Watch: Watch a player and learn who visited them that night.
3. Cop Scan: Scan a player and learn if they are GUILTY or INNOCENT.

Remember, in addition to selecting which of these three actions you want to use, you must also choose a target to send the results to.

so last night, Han and I were neighborized by someone else. Neither of us claims to have the power to do so. The most likely conclusion we came to was that a different town member put us together to try and have us work together, because a scum with the same power would probably try and torture Han instead.

The chat self-destructed as of the start of Day 2, but I have all the logs saved. i don't think either of us fully trusted the other but in my mind we spoke candidly on a number of different topics.

big items of discussion were that plum's flip suggests that the scum team itself is the cult, and what that might mean for the game setup. also discussed some people who were around most of the day but didn't vote (ahem....DEATH).

also, we decided scum/cult like....never ever recruits JC unless they are forced to. it makes absolutely zero sense for them to do so if it's a free -1 town player if they don't do so

hm maybe there was hidden utility in suiciding into a cult

Oh right that. I wanted to vote Plum more than not. His attitude made me not like him. His claim on the other hand felt plausible. But then someone said he could be independent scum recruiter still (which was also a theory of mine), but then I wondered why the hell would Plum claim all of this?
Basically I was stuck going back and forth in my head while also knowing Plum was at a very high lead anyway. Made my vote feel not needed.
Even if I felt more sure that Plum was town, I dont know who I would have voted instead.

Not immediately trusting of a neighborizer claim in the middle of a cult revelation. But thats a headache for tomorrow.

I am now assuming scum didnt shoot a bigger target because they recruited one instead.

Now I just laugh.

I wasn't here end of day, I got occupied and forgot the day was ending at 7 and not 8. Not sure where I really stood on Plum, seeing his claim makes me wish he had done a better job claiming.

Poor Sultan... never in a million years would I have seen that coming.

thats fair. I spent a lot of time at the comp reading and trying to catch up. I did my best to speak on things that I felt mattered to me in finding town and scum. I don't think I wasted the day from my standpoint.

Plums claim was sloppy and my history with Plum makes him a huge question mark for me always, like i said, wish he didn't flub so much of his claim, he could have addressed it better with the game without trying to make it more than it was.

Hope someone town got those scans from Sultan btw

And yeah I cant get too much from that lynch because Plum himself dragged things out too much for his own good.

I still think you're attributing too much weight to the wheel thing.

But I have to admit I think I misremembered your post in my HB recap later on and thought you were claiming Plum looked bad (as in scummy) because of that interaction. But reading back your posts you were clearly saying that it was something that scum plum wouldn't do. So my mistake for the comment I made in my HB ISO.

Of course you're not. I have long maintained that if I ever get day vig I shoot Corrik opening post of the game and I fully intend to do so when ever I get it just for the lols.

But I do feel I owe the game my claim...

Ben feels that this game got ripped off at the awards and should have won for best OST he mentions people I assume were the composers of this soundtrack or the soundtracks of the winners. I have no powers.

The only reason I played your shot as straight as I did was because Plum decided to go full crazy person over it, as I've already mentioned I have repeatedly maintained that Corrik is my day vig target regardless of the situation and I decided to antagonize him for his decision to go full aggro over the shot that was obviously fake.

Can you explain how you came to the conclusion that you both were neighborized by someone else? Is it just as simple as you both denied neighborizing the other or did the host confirm this in some way?

Anyway I think looking into the end of yesterday is prudent. A lynch that settled with 5 people with no intent to b8 special should actually be a wealth of information

I have my own conclusions which I'll be talking over in topic later when I have time. But I would advise others to pursue this too as yeah, 5 votes to lynch pretty much no attempt to start another wagon is just really weird.

To be clear, this was only after you doubled down by claiming that "BANGer" of a soundtrack. I thought the initial shot was a joke, but like many others started to have to honestly consider it after you doubled down.

I will flesh it out later and I don't really want to go super hard on this thought just yet for risk of Han POSSIBLY being town as I don't want to distract him in that case.

HOWEVER I will say that repeatedly trying to "start other lynches" yesterday at lynch time when he himself said Plum was a good lynch earlier in the day and Plum had basically given up just rubbed me the wrong way. It felt like lip service "hey I tried to stop this townie from being lynched"

Lynching Sultan does make sense for scum because he was super town. There was no way they get him mislynched. Not really buying Changs claim at this point, smells more like hes a cult recruiter and recruited Han to me.
Sultan was basically the only other person to question leaving JC 3 days to do whatever he pleases.
Plants flag. Lets go town!

I will say kill of Sultan profiles as a dangerous scum team who is out to only remove the impossible mislynches

I feel like a dread scumteam consisting of like Han Ulti Corrik Red is very possible. Of note Red was clearly here during the lynch and just was here to lecture us on how Plum was town plum (without any real effort to provide an alternative) and Ulti was conspicuously absent. Corrik is the only one I feel was showing any real townishness during the last bit.

If Han is scum Red is scum as Han team 100% murders Red night 1. Note Han also didn't do his usual schtick of trying to push Red to do anything

My initial analysis of the lynch is that I'm okay with you, me, and Peaf's votes on Plum. I don't know Peaf's full reason, but at the time he changed his vote he was technically voting for self preservation. I'm more concerned with the people who were saying that Plum looked bad without voting like SBell and Death, as they may have been waiting to hammer if needed, and didn't put their names on the lynch without needing to.

I think the people looking for a different lynch target isn't that bad, because it seemed clear at the end that Plum was either imploding town, or maybe a lying scum/third party cult recruiter. You suggested specialing JC which Plum moved his vote to, Sultan (town) moved to HB, Han said he doesn't think JC is scum, so voted Chang and then 5tar, and Chang voted SBell.

So in my eyes, I think one of IGCD or HB could have a high likelihood of being scum sitting on the lynch. I also think SBell and Death look worse for not having a vote down after expressing they would be okay with Plum lynch. The only people voting at the end to try and "save" Plum would be Han or Chang. At that point at the end, the only other people with votes on them would be JC, Red, or HB. Han said he didn't want to go JC, but why not Red or HB? Why did Chang avoid all three of those options?
