Actually, thinking about it... why did the Mishima Zaibatsu shoot Peaf? Did they think he was town when other people who were seen as townier at the time (such as Lea) were clear shots after Isquen and Lopen both claimed power roles?

Death said that scum teams this small should be aware that another scum team exists. I don't think that logic makes any sense inherently... which makes me think Death perspective slipped there. If both scum factions were aware of each other from the start, then Mishima Zaibatsu being down two players probably makes them more willing to hunt for the opposite faction. Hence, Peaf's death.

I'm willing to believe Death is the last Mishima Zaibatsu member (assuming Ulti's slip against Sbell truly indicates that each team is only three members) and Lea and Red are G-Corp.

The fact that you're trying to pin me in the Mishima corner despite everything, just makes me think you are the final Mishima member spelling out your mislynch road to victory.

As I stated before, Lea and Red being scum together seems extremely extremely unlikely to the point of just being a straight up nope.

Hello friends.
I was following the game through D1 as it happened, so I do have some general ideas of what happened there, but completely stopped following the game after that. Currently doing a reread with some quick notes. Should not take me THAT long, but obviously give me a little bit of time for any specific read questions.

I don't know the claim state of the game, but I'm not gonna fuck around with it as a replacee.

I am Noctis Lucis Caelum, TOWN Bouncer. Any action pointed at me is bounced to a target of my choice. HB targeted Lopen N1. IGCD N2.

Just for reference, I am reading through the game with the knowledge of what flips have happened, and the fact that there are apparently two scum teams. If there's any other pertinent context I should have while rereading, let me know. I'll refresh here now and then to respond to stuff if able.

My initial thoughts of the D1 stuff when I was following along was that SBell was a bastard for the work meta stuff he tried to pull on Ulti, but Ulti was still a deserved lynch by the end of the day. For someone that has bragged about catching people from Topic 1 posts, I got a laugh about him being immediately caught on his demeanor by Lea early on. No foul feelings though, Ulti, I just thought it was funny.

I mean with two shots per night, I interpret it as a role you'd want to keep hidden so you can hopefully redirect one of the shots onto scum. Now that I'm claimed, the "cool" factor of using the role as an outplay is gone. But I weighed the pros and cons of playing coy with it and decided to not be difficult about things.

Oh absolutely not then. Dumey is scum. No way that role can redirect shots. Actions maybe but shots? It's a serial killer Bulletproof basically.

Scum can't win without a strongman shot. And watcher is pretty much broken as well.

My role doesn't specifically mention kills, just says "any action." so I would assume it's kills as well. I don't have a problem with using my night action as directed.

If confirmed it probably has to be town. Mishima had a roleblocker and g Corp had a role Thief.

It's redundant for them.

I was sitting here wondering how the hell town doesnt get completely slaughtered by shots flying everywhere, and this role certainly helps.

In a normal powered game I would say no way but with what, 7 remaining vanilla claims? I think there is a chance

A scum role that can redirect shots with two teams would be one of the most broken roles of all time.

If town has no vig this potentially fills the same role with two shots a night

I mean if there's 2 scumteams with 3 members, then we'd need a lot of protection or have to lynch scum every day to avoid a nowin scenario

But yeah its tough to talk balance yet

Anyway I dont like claiming this(i definitely had a fake tracker/hider claim in my pocket) but I am BP and i don't think i buy it.

Also bouncing wctions to lopen n1 when Lopen was torching ulti. I dont like that either.

Also I've finished rereading D1 and Lopen was pretty much the only person going after HB. They have a history of getting into scuffles. I don't want to read into it too much because I don't know the actual reason why HB does HB things, but I wouldn't put it past him to OMGUS Lopen. >_>

Host confirmed that it is any action unless otherwise specified. So night kills are included.

Noctis as Bouncer is incredibly badass. I'll believe it.

Hb targeting Lopen and IGCD checks out, too, given his attitude toward Lopen and IGCD's sheeping of him. If you're still catching up on the game, then I doubt that's something you or your scum team could've made up unless Hb was planning to claim that from the start. And those targets feel a little too on the nose for Hb to have prepared a fake claim for.
