good place to start although I think the mzero tribunal should be interesting today.

Dumey and I had a cool chat last night. Was glad to have a friend after wall EVILLY ended day when I finally had a moment to post.

Dumey already got bamboozled once as town neighbor when Lea sweet talked him into torpedoing town. Would he really take the chance on Lea's player slot again like that?

I know he buried Lopen, but he has a very good and long memory. He and Chris could absolutely be scum buddies together. Chris does love his gambits.

Damn. I feel bad about missing on Death. Though I think it was still the right play at the time.

Wallz will confirm that yesterday before the day ended I was considering visiting you, but we came up with some other ideas instead. Near the end of the day I may ask whether you want me to visit your or not, but not ready to make that decision yet until everyone at least checks in.

My whole entire worldview revolved around death being mafia so this sucks.

Honestly I'm not sure Lea really did all that much to "talk me into" anything. She didn't know Han was scum either, so me choosing to defend him was a combo of bad decisions. The only REAL bad thing was I was unwilling to believe in Ben at the end because his entire read of the game depended on two of Han/Lea/Me being scum.

I asked Dumey not to share it with Chris.

Right now I think MZero is the direction for the day. Yesterday I talked about Death being a 50/50 with MZero unless we believe in a Ninja Strongman existing specifically. That hasn't changed, we just chose the wrong side of the coin.

Wallz, do you have any objections to our current direction?

I feel ideologically like we should finish this resolution. But since scum was so comfortable with sitting on the Death lynch yesterday, I would definitely humor a Ctes lynch as well, so I support both of these lines of pressure.

You think mzero is more likely than this third person who is not ctes?

Mzero has put in 100x the effort of ctes and i felt like he approached yesterday with far more town equity.

My style is real timing so I'm just gonna process what happens today and go from. The lack of the night kill is also annoying cause I just want people to die and learn more lol.

But also I feel like critical information is being withheld from me and I don't like that.

So I'll wait to see what I learn from today.

If 100x the effort is just training Sultan the entire game, then maybe? To not entirely misrepresent him, MZero did also contribute to the Lopen push and put some real thought into whether my counterclaim held water or not, and came out in support of me.

I agree that ctes looks bad. his vote on Death, drunk or not, is easily one of the worst on that lynch. Early jump on, sat on it without giving any kind of opinion for or against for the rest of the day because they weren't here. I understand this is explained by Ctes saying he wouldn't be here for most of that day, but that fact remains.

But yes, MZero is still a better option than the third player. If you feel strongly that MZero could be town and there's a chance of a Ninja Strongman, then you should go after Ctes instead. (which you are doing I recognize Peaf. I'm just clarifying that I think that's a higher success rate than going after the third player.)

Ok well i want ctes to claim before i give any info so that'll have to wait until he wakes up. But my confidence at which i think he is scum is 100% minus the likelihood that the third person is doctor. And right now i think that's only about a 25% chance.

It also led to two nights in a row with no dead town.

And if I hadnt been talked out of saving death, we would have a bodyguard on who I believe to be the doctor.

Im still learning a lot about mafia but one thing that stuck with me from my first game (Star Trek) is the night after scum first went after Ulti who was kinda bp doc, meaning he could withstand one normal killing (non-strongman) action, no one died and you could tell Han (who was scum) was totally sour grapes once the next day started and he realized ulti was not lying about being bp to at least some extent. I was lynched instead of Han and regretted not pushing harder.

When I saw no one died a second night in a row in this game, I expected to see at least one person come across in a way that reminded me of Han in Star Trek. A way that doesnt feel quite right in response to good news for town. Maybe not angry. Maybe trying their best to contain feeling understandably exasperated. Maybe just pressing for information to help them avoid a third consecutive night of a missed kill.

Peaf voted death going along with Dumeys reasoning (he apparently loves when Dumey talks math to him). Dumey said unless theres a ninja strongman its 50/50 between death and mzero. Now death has flipped town and peaf acknowledges it could be mzero but is instead pushing for votes on ctes instead of going along with Dumeys reasoning he agreed with yesterday. This is because peaf knows one of two things to be true - Mzero is his scummate or mzero is town power but his power isnt useful anymore now that red is dead and I used up my one watch. Plus if mzero is town, hes a mislynch candidate.

Hell, I was a one time watcher - maybe scum had a one time strongman ninja. Seems pretty balanced as a means to not to punish scum for using strongman on an obvious candidate if the watcher hadnt used their watch yet.

If peaf flips strongman ninja, mzero is virtually proven to be town. If peaf flips town or some other scum role, mzero stays a question mark. But I dont want a town mzero meeting the same avoidable death as death because we made a suboptimal play.

I dont think we should rush to end day because Id like for everyone to take a stance on this and peaf is welcome to plead his case. But I sure as hell will not be spilling the beans to get you to share what youre doing thats supposedly working to save townies.

Sorry peaf, youre caught scum.

Also ctes should not be pressured to claim.

Town does not offer to share information only if essentially confirmed town shares their information first after two consecutive nights of scums kills failing. Real town would want to keep that info to themselves and keep a good thing going as long as possible, and swat away pressure for explanations.

This is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. We know who visited the dead player when they were killed. "Wow you guys guessed wrong once, obviously we should stop trying now that I'm next on the chopping block."

I do think we probably just complete the mass claim today.

Anyone honestly evaluating the claims can probably tell what happens with the rest of the claims anyway, so we can just go for it.

So I don't have a problem with everyone claiming and Peaf waiting for Ctes first.

You guys are being lazy. You're not even looking at play or interactions with scum, you're just like "oh x visited red he must be scum" and riding it. You should try actually lynching scummy players instead of being slaves to night actions that don't actually prove anything.
