The narrative is changing now the frauds at CDPR have massaged the egos of gaming journalists but dont forget the awful game this DLC is propping up, the state it launched in, the absolute mediocrity of the gameplay and awful story.

* No NPC Day/Night cycle. NPCs spawn and despawn outside of the player's view.

* If an NPC is doing an action, they will do that action forever until the player moves.

* NPCs that are not story/side quest related have one dialog reply.

* If one NPC is assaulted, every other NPC in a large circle around the player will crouch to the floor in the same animation, even if they did not see the original assault.

* NPCs in a car will follow a specific route. If the route is even slightly interupted, for example by your car, they will cease to move forever until you remove the obstruction.

* NPCs in a car will not attempt to move or exit their vehicle if you assault them with bullets/another vehicle.

* NPCs will not acknowledge the player if they run the player over with their car.

* NPCs will not attempt to steal their vehicle back if you steal it from them.

* NPCs will not attack you or defend themselves in any way or form, even if engaged upon with just fists.

* Police spawn around the player's vision when the player is wanted, forever, until they attempt to hide or drive away.

* Police to not attempt to question, warn, or arrest the player for even the smallest crime commited, for example if you bump into them or accidently enter a private area.

* Police are incapable of driving cars and chasing the player if they drive away.

* Police will not attack hostile targets like Gangs if they are not already doing so in an activity.

* Police will know if the player has attacked an NPC in the middle of the badlands and spawn next to the player, without vehicles.

* NPCs will rarely thank or acknowledge the player if they are helped by the player.

* Scripted NPCs that have dialog will say their dialog then proceed to stand there forever. They will also repeat the same dialog if the player leaves the area and visits again later.

The game still sucks, AI still sucks, story still sucks, gameplay still sucks.

No Man's Sky launched with barely any of the advertised features and the developers not only managed to turn it completely around but consistently add new free content to it.

Umm. A lot of that has changed since 2019.

Especially with the new 2.0 update. Which is why the narrative has changed...

Stay mad I guess TC. Plenty of people have had lots of fun with the game. I got over 70 hours of enjoyment out of it at launch and I will be grabbing the dlc

None of that stuff changed post launch

Even at launch with all its problems I had a great time playing it, if they're fixing the problems and putting out DLC I'll probably pick it back up again and do another playthrough

I played the game at launch and loved it. Played it again whenever it was updated and loved it. Going to be playing 2.0 and I'll probably love it too lol.

Speaking of when does this big ol' patch drop? I got my PS5 on Christmas and picked up Cyberpunk, but after a couple months I removed it for other games (stupid small SSD size). Then with the patch I figured I would just wait for it to come out and then pick it back up.

Any news on when it releases?

Investing in a 1TB SSD was the best purchase I made for my PS5. I'd recommend a 2TB if you can afford it.

I got a 2TB SSD for my birthday in June so the problem is resolved! At the time earlier this year tho I did not, but it has been a VERY worthy investment. When games are hitting 100+ GB it's absurd to only have like 500GB lol

CDPR shills keep trying to push this redemption arc narrative when they've done absolutely nothing to fix the real issues with the game. They did bog standard bug fixes then were able to gaslight everyone into thinking the outcry about the game was SOLELY due to bugs when it wasn't at all.
