I see them as companion pokemon, their designs are pretty similar no? And they have a similar gimmick with the names. Indeedee is definitely worse tho.

They could've called it Galarian Audino and no one would've batted an eye.

So far, I've ranked 2 of these very high, 1 of them around the middle of my list, and 3 near the bottom.

I actually had blipbug #1 on my initial passthrough. I think it probably would have ended up there had we done this back when the games came out. Seems like I kept it just high enough to avoid last place.

From a quick check I can see 5 people are bigger outliers so far, including lefty and myself of course. I think you've been a pretty big outlier in the past as well but it's been a while.

I honestly don't hate any of these Pokemon, not even Blipbug (woo! Let's go I'm right on the mark there!)

There's usually something that keeps me from detesting these things outright. I guess I'll post my thoughts. I kept writing and rewriting them in the damn doc over and over until I gave up on coherency lol

Enamorus is saved by her Therian form to me. Still a bit meh, but I don't mind the quarter finally being complete and the concept is solid. Better on paper than in execution? Sure.

Blipbug is ... fine. I kind of look at it and go "yeah okay, it's like some kinda bookworm nerd bug thing" but it doesn't mean I find the design appealing. But that's ok. It'll evolve and then evolve again. I love the final evolutions of a lot of these "route 1" bugs.

Calyrex is just killed by its silhouette and proportions tbh. Everyone says it is too top heavy and they're right. And I really don't like how its other "forms" is to ... ride a magic horse? That's a whole other Pokemon? What? Am I missing something because I didn't play DLC?? Too top heavy. Make the "crown" look more balanced, nix the horse thing, and this would have been a winner to me. And this is coming from someone who would rank Diggersby extremely high in a gen 6 ranking. I love stupid rabbits!

Arrokuda is fine. Kind of boring, sure but it's still got room to evolve.

Indeedee is unremarkable somehow, but it's cute enough for me to rank it higher than a lot of folks. Cute Pokemon don't usually do it for me, but I guess a "meh" cute Pokemon catches my attention more than top heavy horse rider over here.

Chewtle is a good first stage for Drednaw, but it doesn't mean I particularly like it. It's ugly dumb ass face has a bit of charm to it, but I find it hard to be enthusiastic about first stage Pokemon.

caterpillar type thing is just not an exciting concept to being with, so every attempt since Gen 1 is just like diminishing returns? I just cant muster much feeling toward Blipbug or Scatterbug or whatever other one Im probably forgetting

I think I ranked Diggersby around ~3 on my gen 6 rankings, but in a rerank it's my clear #1 by a wide margin. My old favorites have fallen out of relevance while my liking of Diggersby has only improved over time.

Indeedee is a strong Pokemon with a good ability, many usable attacks, and unusual typing.

Sewaddle is the best Caterpie.

Also I ranked Diggersby as my #2! I don't know if I still stand by that, but it's probably still Top 5.

Sewaddle is just fine. Not that I love any of the first stage early bugs though, so maybe Sewaddle is best Caterpie.

I am a Charjabug man through and through (well, the whole Grubbin line is great)

Spewpa a little underrated there (mostly I just love the name), but pretty solid results overall

Silcoon and Cascoon are just so devoid of character compared to the rest. Probably in the bottom 5 Pokmon of all time

I sort of like Carkol but its execution of the concept doesnt totally work for me

the head looks goofy against the backdrop of the coal, I dunno its too much coal maybe? And not enough surface area for the head to be attached to the cart part?

I might have ranked him slightly too low, like I said I do like the face and it's goofy in a fun way

Wooloo woulda been third but Dubwool is unfortunately a regression to mid-tier.

I did not realise Carkol had that face. Guess that's what I get for barely touching the actual games since 2013.

I wouldnt go as far as to call them trash, but I was surprised during my ranking at how much of this gen Im just kind of ambivalent toward

theres a bunch of cases like Carkol where I like what theyre going for, but the actual execution doesnt live up to the premise for me

I'm gonna be pretty sad when Dubwool drops way way way too low.

carkol is extremely ugly and its part of an evil duo that ruined rolycoly and denied us a train pokemon

As far as Carkol goes, I love the idea, but not so sure about the design itself.
