And then I realized Ulti and Sultan are paired up.

My facts are so off today lol But it still doesn't make sense why Sultan is trying to get with Chris of all people. That was an instant red flag and made me scrutinize Sultan's behavior.

Its true that Sultan is good at reads but not always able to express them the best, and is a total sweetheart. But this kind of thing is why I will not currently date him - it's pure inconsistentency on his part this game.

I can actually see why Sultan would want to date Chris being honest. I won't put words in his mouth but there are reasons.

Without your interaction I don't think much of it. I'm trying to envision a world where the game isn't just you and Ulti.

I daresay Sultan only picked Chris because he knew he'd get a date from him. It makes zero sense that Sultan wouldn't try to pair up with one of his town reads.

I would say Sultan should claim, but of course Chris is white knighting his precious khai. I don't know if Chris is just being lazy or if he's also scum.

... Also could someone post an update on the pairs? I have no clue who is at risk of dying.

I agree with Kirby here. There was a post earlier from Sultan that said something like, "Does anyone want to date me?" that could be interpreted as Sultan just testing his options, but I kind of felt like it was him worried that he didn't HAVE many options.

The reason he's going back to Chris despite Chris being one of the people he's suspect of is probably self-preservation.

Really, the only other person with "scum" written into Sultan's reads list is Red, and that's just "Red is too bold to be scum"

Like, does Sultan actually believe in the reads he's trying to make? That list is pretty recent enough to not have such a drastic 180 on Chris!

Ulti- idk i want to say this is town Ulti but I'm not 100 sold hence why I accepted the date originally.
Dumey- still think Dumey is pretty towny
Corrik- POE/Null
Red- ??? How many times I've played with red idk how to read red but I think some of his play comes off as towny and is to bold to be scum. Played with scum red he was pretty cautious from what I remember
Kirby- need a reread tbh
Sir Chris- still got a sinking feeling could be scum

So many options with people you think are town, the most obvious being Lopen.

So why on earth are you trying to pair up with somebody you think could be scum?

We aren't killing Chris right, I know Chris very well if I pair with Chris I think I can get a good Read. If he is scum I'll pitch the fuck outta it tomorrow. It's the interese strategy dating for read. Pairing with who you think is town is actually the safer option

This list of reads coming from Sultan was posted a mere 2.5 hours ago. Chris didn't post at all during that time, IIRC. So why the sudden change of heart to saving Chris?

It's one thing for me to have opened up my day trying to date Lopen when he wants me dead. It's another for Sultan to say Chris is scummy and then date him all within the same morning.

As far as actually pushing arguments? Maybe. But more people than us have definitely agreed that Sultan is in the PoE and doesn't look super hot. Pretty sure that even includes you harboring doubt about him at times!

Lopen I'm telling you this in good faith. The most recent fuss you're trying to push on Kirby is motivated and doesn't hold up. Kirby's interpretation of Sultan sounding desperate for a date holds up, because I had a similar interpretation. Don't push a square peg into a circle hole here.

You can argue that what Sultan's doing isn't scum motivated, but Kirby isn't fabricating anything here.

Kirby is pretending people are at risk when they aren't and people are desperate when they're not it's a recurring theme today

I gave you a date, and you turned it down. I really do think you're town. But your reads are horribly wrong and you're suffocating every bit of oxygen required for people to make reasonable and logical sense, so if you die, I couldn't care less.

I don't even know if Ulti is town or scum but I don't care anymore. I'm letting other people fight this battle now because I'm spent trying to argue against a brick wall and his sheep.

Kirby lets take a second before consensual breakups are required, and view what the possibilities here assuming no major shakeups.

Pairs:

Lea + JC
FD + MZero
Sultan + Sir Chris
Ulti + Kirby

Unpaired:
Lopen, Isquen, Dumey, Corrik, Red

FD and MZero are locked. Lea JC has no reason to breakup except to cause chaos. I don't think Lea is looking to repeat after some of the suspicion she's got on her today. Sultan has made a lot of changes today, but I can see him landing on Chris for good here.

Out of the final 5, I think Lopen and Red are town, and I would look to date one of the two. Lets say I date Red, and that leaves Lopen to hopefully decide between Isquen and Corrik. Are either of those more worthwhile lynches than Ulti?

To be clear, I don't necessarily think Ulti is scum either, but it may be better odds following Lopen's arguments on Ulti here and getting some info out of Ulti's flip, rather than a random shot at Isquen or Corrik.

I guess what I'm asking you here Kirby, is after you went after Sultan for saving Chris, are you comfortable saving Ulti over Isquen or Corrik?
