Like the last 18 threads on this, Netanyahu has shown that the hostages are just a pretense to commit any and every atrocity against Palestine. Hostages are just acceptable collateral damage to him.

We've known this since at least the time when they gunned down their own hostages who were trying to surrender in Hebrew, and the Likud and Netanyahu response was no better than, "Ehh. It happens." If not sooner.

You'd think the average Israeli would be disturbed by the lack of regard for hostages though. Because one day that could be any of them, getting bombed by their own people.

Keep in mind this is what Israel is willing to admit publicly.

We've seen the actual scale of destruction from satellite images. Much of the Strip is uninhabitable. It could take a decade just to clear the rubble per UN estimates.

I think it is significant that this camp of Palestinians who where ejected from their land in 1948 are now allied through family and marriage ties.
