Id rather hear popcorn chewing than dumb American cheering and yeehawing during avengers endgame so you cant hear the movie
It was poltergeists
i think some people deserve an execution, but the risk of executing someone innocent outweighs the benefit of executing a heinous monster

i think in cases where theres a literal 0% chance of having the wrong guy (i.e. rapist/terrorist caught in the act) etc then theres more of a justification to do so
yeah starlink kinda just replaces all wilderness tech. the only exception might be the 1 or 2 boomers who only want TV and Fax but not Internet. But you cant run a business off those 2 customers

Discord is horrific as a store of information. If a message isn't pinned it's probably eternally lost to the void, except to people who've seen the message already and know exactly what to search to dig it back up.

Reddit is also incidentally a horrific store of information since its search function is literally non-functional. Moving away from traditional forums was a mistake.
Google is the best search function for Reddit. Its true.

just google: reddit [subreddit] [topic]
and you'll probably find exactly what you're after. works for professional subreddits anyway
Depends on the context.

a captain has a responsibility to their crew and passengers, so if theres still survivors on board they should be doing everything in their power to save them before evacuating. if everyone is evacuated I dont see an issue with the captain following

in the military I think theres a culture where even if the crew has evacuated the captain will remain, Im not 100% sure on this but I did read of some cases of this on reddit
The unique mechanic from the Effect and Cause level in Titanfall 2
a device which instantly transports you between two versions of the same level - a destroyed present, and the past when the base was operational.
the campaign is great the whole way through, but even if it wasnt, its worth playing just to see the level of game design mastery on display for that level
Depends on the question. In most cases if a question was asked even just a few months ago, theres probably more current information, or different people looking at the question who can provide different points of view

It's going to have to reach a limit. Real humans are needed to make corporations richer. AI doesn't pay for their products and services, and real humans can't pay for shit without money.
The theory is sound, but every CEO will think, why do I need to be the one to hire people? Let someone else do it so I can save money.

There needs to be government regulation. Weve had enough of small government.

I think you've proven why I have you tagged as I do.
because you tried to change the topic? ok. kinda whack-o but sure...

quote where I said that since the media outburst regulated vaping companies didnt remove controversial ingredients. should be easy since you're not a bad faith poster, right?

Clearly you are a person who chooses to believe what the fuck you want to believe. Grow up and take the L. You were wrong. 1) there has never been a direct link between vaping and popcorn lung. 2) that chemical is not used anymore in vape juice. Your link does not contradict me at all.
yikes, my dude...

Explain where I moved goalposts. Be specific please

fine

states the liquid causing it has been removed from products.

goalpost moved because you're responding to something i wasnt talking about. obviously after a media outburst companies are going to take action. you're still going to find old batches around the place, and not everyone uses regulated vapes either.
I wasn't talking about what action has been taken since the media blew up over it. thats the goalpost you moved

SHRlKE posted...
There is also more of the chemical in normal cigarettes than vapes so moving from cigarettes to vaping reduces your exposure to the chemical. I dont recall ever hearing anyone moaning about normal cigs causing popcorn lung despite it being far likely to cause it.

because this topic is about vaping, and everyone knows how bad cigarettes are for a multitude of reasons. i wasnt talking about cigarettes, thats a goalpost you moved
its not dead its just asleep
SHRlKE posted...
The study itself states the liquid causing it has been removed from products. Did you even read your own study you posted.

I think we need research on popcorn lung for people who started vaping after the removal of said chemical.

If your claim is that vapes used to have a chemical that is linked to pop corn lung I dont disagree with that at all.

Again this might be a US vs UK thing where we have better regulations in place.

Except there has never been direct evidence of vaping causing popcorn lung, and even there were, the chemical that causes it is no longer used in vape juice. So how does it feel to be so wrong?

People whose main problem with a game is the FPS just seem goofy to me. I see them as those monocle wearing stereotypes of rich snobs but in regards to video games.

Obviously inconsistent frame rate and frame drops is a HUGE issue but that isnt what we are talking about here.
FPS affects the quality of a game. If the first feeling you get when you see the animation in a game is Jesus Christ this looks jank obviously its going to taint whatever enjoyment the game otherwise might have had, in the same way bad controls would. Its a constant feel of this is terrible that doesnt go away.

I understand what youre trying to say about inconsistent FPS, but no, Id rather an inconsistent 40+ fps than a consistent 30fps
Enjoy popcorn lung in exchange for your money
The less languages the better. I like the idea of earth becoming a global community

Theres no reason why the officers need to be allowed outside of a prison ever again if they kill an innocent person in a manner such as this. Except for their funeral when they die in prison. This includes whenever they do no-knock raids

IDK why people worry so much about Nintendo console specs when you're almost certainly not buying it for its power. If you're buying Nintendo stuff you're probably buying it for first party games.

It's odd to blame non-voters who had no involvement with the process but not also extend blame to those who did a bad job fighting.
no its not because for the people that dont vote, the reason that they dont vote is because they dont care that much if trump is elected, so they arent blameless
That will show him
I havent played it, I was looking into it the other day. Been playing Chrono Ark
as if a businessman running a country like a business instead of an actual politician wasnt bad enough, now theres a literal high school kid on the way soon
played a lot more. the story is actually quite good IMO. its kept me invested the whole way through. I reached an ending, shit is fucked yo. one of the bosses at the end is incredible, I love spectacles like this, even though its an indie game
I'll accept it for old games. On anything made in the PS4 era onwards its beyond pathetic though

The exception is very specifically games like South Park Stick of Truth which pick that FPS on purpose to achieve a particular art style.

Anyone that can't tell the difference needs to try using a TV or monitor made in the past 2 decades
A Gaggle of Ralph
yeah, some things are just better off animated. even if you had avatar levels of budget and skilled CG designers, it's just not going to look as good as something drawn or at least 2D. i cant imagine how cringe the gun-fu scene from Rebellion would look in live action

Yes we must punish liberals for things that conservatives do. Hmm I wonder who that benefits.

Also we cannot punish conservatives for doing evil things, because their feelings might get hurt and they might get angry and do evil things.

#justcentristthings

i mean earlier in this thread TC went as far as saying that its just the natural state of things that republicans are villains (post 35, comparing them to fictional villains who enacted genocide/rampant war etc) so somehow that means the buck stops with liberals somehow

LMAO stop moving goalposts.

Your original question was "when was MS ever good for gaming", which by itself is a subjective question. I pointed out facts ie trends they popularized, which you dismissed because you personally dislike them. The gaming industry doesn't revolve around you.
They didnt popularise HDDs or FPS. Stop lying and stop moving goalposts. I didnt ask you to tell me what they popularised. If you arent going to answer my original question, dont bother replying
Has anyone really been so far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?

You're the one moving the goalposts by dismissing things because you personally dislike them.

I prefer PC FPS games like Quake, but that doesn't mean Halo is unpopular nor that it wasn't one of the most played online multiplayer back in the day. Remember PS2's expensive HDD and modem add-ons that barely anyone used?

And if achievements are a gimmick then why did Sony and Valve copy it?
My question hasnt changed, you just didnt answer it sufficiently. Instead you tried to change my question to what did Microsoft popularise, even then you got most of that wrong. Attributing HDDs to Microsoft is a weird meltdown even for you and HDDs in consoles doesnt answer my question
