Eh, I was expecting better combat from a Platinum game and the world seemed very lifeless and monotonous (and you can say that it's supposed to be given the setting but still...), but my biggest problem with the game was that the difficulty was off, like normal was too easy and hard was too hard so I never found a pace that I really grooved with. Anyway, it's definitely a unique, interesting and fairly fun game. Is there any other game that asks you to delete your save?
Nier replicant does as well
Businesses are gonna want to avoid Michigan like the plague if VPNs arent allowed since they are required to connect remotely into business systems out of the office or sometimes even between offices
For starters nobody is going to legally be allowed to work from home in any sort of security-conscious business (which is any that have cyber insurance)

This was never a good argument, for 50+ years now at least. But certainly these days it's one of the fastest ways I would lose respect for anyone lmao. And certainly for anyone claiming to be accomplished even as a scholar or technician in any way.
You got 50+ years of a free pass for not having to provide any evidence because you got to call people edgy for not believing in your god. Your attitude doesnt work these days.

What about Nier Replicant >_> I wanted to get through that before I tried Automata and it started out fun and engaging but damn it dragged on long. I don't even know how far I got, the side questing got really tiresome especially without fast travel.
Nier IMO gets better as it goes. It has an incredibly strong party/main group and I love their character development and banter
To this day there is still not even a single shred of evidence that even hints that any god exists let alone the Christian one.

Its not unethical to punch a Nazi. The only thing in the way of doing it is the law
Ok I have to admit, I did actually know it was an edit but I wanted to seem innocent in case it was against the rules >.>
One of the best games of all time. Skip it if you feel like skipping something great
I heard theres something called One Pace which is like a guide or something on what episodes to watch which cuts out filler. I heard even that is slow compared to the manga though. The manga is easy to binge and its incredibly fast, compared to the anime where even with a guide to cut the filler its slow
I loved AC2, Brotherhood, Revelations and I even liked AC3. I had always been meaning to play black flag but just never got around to it (I did play for like 10 hours or so but something else came along)

the real world shit was always the worst part of the games, it wasnt interesting or fun. So removing it is only a good thing.

I tried one of the newer ones that introduced RPG elements, Origins I think, i played for like 5 mins and noped out cause it was the dumbest shit. What happened to the real assassins creed? Black flag is gonna suck if they make it like origins
IMO theres not enough interactions between the party, banter and talking during stages, it felt a little lacking in camp even. Thats just IMO since others felt it was at the right level
Yeah how is he not a suspect? Even if hes on tour now and shes only been found now, shes obviously been dead for a long time and its his car has he been out of the country for like 5 years?
In the lore is it actually fucked though? Not just V but any net runner can just remotely hack your brain chips and kill you or send you into intense pain. Like walking down the street I can just look at a group of dudes, hack them and they just drop dead
Theres other sites still. Piracy is always a whack-a-mole. One site gets really big and convenient and down it goes. There will be other convenient sites, theres at least one still around. Obviously illegal so dont actually go there though

does Viz translate all manga? Its like saying I always roll my eyes when people pirate TV shows, havent you heard of Netflix? yeah just sign up for 20 streaming services why dont you
theres a reason people pirate and its mostly convenience/accessibility

What I saw was a very obvious attempt by the NYPD to appear competent after an embarassing high profile failure to protect a rich guy by planting a gun and a "I did it btw I also love cops" note in his backpack after turning off all their body cameras and taking it out of sight of anyone.
Ok, but he did it though

thats their choice. they actively choose to spend all their money. she could easily just not do that, never work again, and still be set for life. she doesnt need to be protected from her own mistakes

he is such a odd conservative his entire political views are shaped by part of a speech from regan he heard as a child

i doubt he could even name a single policy he liked he never quotes the speech he heard as far as i know

just says he enjoyed it

he openly opposes what the republicans have become but still adamently insists he is one

then again did run a anti violence campaign despite his entire body of work being uber violent

so i guess being confounding with logic fits and is a very conservative thing
I cant speak to his political career since I know nothing about it, I knew he was a politician but didnt even know he was a Republican until this topic.

But there is obviously a difference between violence in entertainment/creative media, and real world violence such as supporting guns/2nd amendment etc, I wouldnt hold being an actor in an action movie against him
Someone doesnt become unable to survive as a middle class citizen just because they got a taste of the high life. If they are too stupid to manage their own money and survive for the rest of their life off 10+ MILLION dollars, its not a question of how can they survive and more an observation of how can they be so braindead as to end up in the gutter
Kinda weird feeling seeing people talk about stuff that happened over a decade ago, that Im just reading for the first time this week (referring to that clip of Luffy punching the dude)

Are healthy people here still getting yearly COVID vaccines, or is it just people with health concerns? I haven't been offered one since 2021, and have never been offered the flu one in my life.
Do you get the yearly flu vaccine? Im never offered any vaccines, I have to go out of my way to get them. Its still the right thing to do
6 months is hardly better. Id like it so that companies have a long term vision again and have say, 5-10 year objectives. Instead of sacrifice it all just for the next 3-6 months
Depends. Some games implement it well.

games that do it well IMO:

Majoras Mask
Outer Wilds
Persona 3, 4, 5, Refantasio

I want something high end. I heard of neo keyboards but they seem fairly cheap? Or they dont even come with keys or something? And you also cant even buy them since you need to do some group buy thing?

I heard that keychron is good for middle of the road/low end mechanical keyboards but they have 100 million different models I dont know what their top of the line one is.

i had a ducky shine keyboard back in the day and atm ive got a Logitech g915, i sort of just want something premium with full sized keys and a number pad

Kids seems to really like this game. From what I see it looks like a bunch of games made from platform that looks like Minecraft
Isnt it basically just a custom map maker like what was in RTS games back in the day? More advanced since its newer and basically a platform instead of its own game with a map maker feature tacked on
Society is too important. You need access to hospitals/ambulance with a reasonable distance/response time, police for 911 calls etc
theres more to price than up front cost. consider things like value for money. $500 budget android that gets 1 year of updates vs $1000 low end iphone that gets 7 years of support

Yeah, as much as a spectacle FF7 Remake/Rebirth and FF16 are, not every game Square develops needs to be The Most Expensive Looking Game Ever and have a 5+ year development lifecycle and people enter high school/university and graduate without even seeing a sequel release

its ok to take the Yakuza/Trails route. Re-use assets, release a game every year or two with a far lower budget

support both arming yourself AND gun control measures.
wrong
I didnt say they dont exist. I said they are so rare and also its a massive red flag anyway, its hard to take them seriously in the same way I cant take any maga seriously let alone black maga. Im progressive, but support guns and everything about American gun culture is certainly a take that raises my eyebrow

V3 did not declare the older games not canon but they probably don't touch it either way.
It wouldn't be that they're "not canon", it would be that they are seasons 1 and 2 of the danganronpa tv series
Yeah basically with how V3 ends, and even how DR2 ends, they can do literally anything they want and it ultimately doesnt matter. I think its probably just a chance for more character development, but I would have thought maybe theyd start with DR1 for that

although

maybe they never left the simulation in DR2, and in that simulation they had everything be a TV show? And maybe they could have a completely separate alternative continuity from this one moving forward
I don't think someone is necessarily "not progressive" just because they support guns, but it is a massive red flag due to all of the school shooting, mass shootings and even small incidents which just wouldn't have happened if gun control was in place.

The ones who ordered the Buster Call and the destruction of Ohara are Celestial Dragons. The highest ranking authorities among them
Ah. Well yeah in that case they probably are the worst in One Piece, at least that ive seen so far
The autosave icon is always a tiny, transparent icon in a corner of the screen nobody can ever see, how does anyone know auto saves are even happening?
I just got to saboady archipelago in the manga where this mermaid was kidnapped, like chapter 500 thereabouts.

they try really hard to make the celestial dragons completely irredeemable pieces of shit but are they even the worst villains in one piece? Theres definitely people in the marines that seemed worse, like those involved with the buster call and slaughter of civilians on Ohara

anyway I havent finished one piece but what Ive seen so far of the celestial dragons at chapter 500 is nothing compared to what Ive seen in Made In Abyss
This as a general rule will get you through the game:

1) do the main objective at the top corner of the screen
2) level up bonds
3) do side quests
4) level up social stats I.e. tolerance

its fairly interchangeable as well, you can actually just do pretty much whatever you want and still beat the game so long as you keep doing the main objective

dont forget that on every 5th day (calendar days ending in 5 or 0) on your runner/base you can take either a shower or a shit (forgot which) and get +1 luck permanently for free

True, but having Steam/SteamOS behind it, means the Deck has much better compatibility than most of those. The most notable exception to that, will probably be the Xbox Ally.
I think any of the windows systems have more compatibility than steam OS. Steam OS has come a long way but it still isnt approaching windows level.

I see. Appreciate the info.

I just figured that Nintendo hardware since the gamecube would be a bit behind hardcore systems so I'm surprised by this. Nintendo's handhelds were always weaker than Playstation's too.
The steam deck isnt a hardcore system. Its the lowest spec out of all the PC handhelds IIRC, like the ROG Ally and others have higher specs than the steam deck
