She's a highly skilled mechanic. Carries the team in plenty of ways and is generally a pleasant character, even though her "weak stomach" gimmick gets a bit annoying. She's 100% my type otherwise...if only she wasn't fictional.

Yeah it's if you make contributions like guides or reviews. People can leave anonymous comments and rate how helpful it is.

Since we're talking about Arkham characterizations we don't like, I'm not a fan of how Bane is depicted outside of Origins. Bane is a big hulking brute yes, but he's also supposed to be smart enough to match Batman. You don't get that intelligence from how he's depicted.

I do think Nintendo should just do something like only lock out a Game Card that is detected to be pirated rather than ban the account (if it's possible...I know it can be detected but that doesn't necessarily mean they have the ability to lock it out specifically)...but on the other hand they resolved it rather quickly and easily. I get why the guy linked in the OP said what he said.

Got one ending of the Slasher route. I had my suspicions of who it was, mostly because I went through Box of Calamity before and knew the signs of Gi'ie possession. It threw a few curveballs at me to try to keep me guessing though. Considering how this went down, I wonder just how much it'll deviate if I've gone down other paths. Guess I'll see soon. I also like how they didn't simply go "oh Takumi got possessed by a Gi'ie in this particular route" and rather said that, Takumi got possessed by a Gi'ie in another timeline and brought some of its embedded DNA over to this new timeline. That makes me wonder which timeline that was in though, and did it affect Takumi in all other timelines? Maybe there'll be an explanation in this route somewhere, or even in SF Route. But I hit the story lock there so I'm getting all that I can on the kill Eito side done first.

Guys, what happened to "don't let nationalists steal the symbol of the American flag from you"? Have things gotten so bad that you lost hope as well? I made a topic a couple months back where I expressed disdain at MAGA "patriotism" to the point where I started hating seeing the flag itself, and I had an overwhelming amount of people reassure me that what they're doing isn't patriotism and I shouldn't let it sour my opinion of the flag and the country just because they're passing off extremist nationalism as patriotism.

I suppose if things have gotten that bad to where that no longer applies...then America as a whole is truly a cesspit. We're just admitting it and giving up.

It was a fun watch. Only real knock, and it's more of a nitpick, just how much they clearly did not give the slightest shit about having the whole stranded half a galaxy away affect the repairability of the ship, supply availability, and lost personnel.

Yeah, that's fair. They kept paying lip service to "oh we can't go to warp drive because we don't want to waste the remaining power we have" but I'm fairly sure they had to do just that to get out of situations plenty of times. I think there's even a video out there that shows how inconsistent their "energy/supply struggles" are shown throughout the show.

I feel like maybe Voyager's premise could've been really good for a shorter set of episodes (like maybe one season) but they stretched it out to an entire show and it just loses the impact it could've had. I did still like the show though, watched it religiously as a kid.

Not that I know of, but he made a tasteless joke about it being a wave so large even the best surfers would find it a challenge.

Yeah. NA is better-looking to me but the JP one is honest for what you'll get when playing the game. So I'm torn.

It's funny because I think the devs even admitted that they had no idea how appealing thick thighs would be to people when they first did a Ryza game. So they most definitely took advantage of it, lol.

Currently doing Comedy route. This one's...eh. It's a little boring most of the time but it does get me a small chuckle occasionally. I was amused at Sirei popping up in one of the endings in order to explain the somewhat confusing ending, but then went "I'm not explaining shit! Die mad, losers!" At least this route is stuffed with a bunch of free time, so I know where to come back to if I need to max out bonds and upgrades.

Ooh, nice to see this is coming out soon, I played the demo as part of an itch.io "Horror PSX Demo Disc" compilation a few years ago, and I remember liking it.

I was gonna say the Wii but yeah, the current eShop which Switch and Switch 2 share has awful quality control, leading to tons of absolutely shit tier games just being allowed on there.

How much monthly mobile data you have? It would take ages for me to reach my monthly limit(100gb) from normal phone usage.

It's a paltry 10GB but I don't use my phone much for things outside of Wi-Fi hotspots, so I wasn't expecting to already be out at the worst possible moment, lol.

Today my home modem broke around the same time that I used up my monthly mobile data, and it's making me realize how dependent we are/I am on internet. I can't do the things I usually do except for browsing a low bandwidth message board like this.

Maybe this is a sign though, because I was meaning to switch out from Xfinity and get a new modem, and my neighbor suggested that T Mobile 5G internet thing. Might wanna look into it tomorrow.

I'd be more disturbed by that if it wasn't a bot. I've come to learn that if it's a blue check account and the username has a bunch of random numbers at the end, that it's a bot. You usually see some absolutely diabolical takes from those kinds of accounts as well.

I came home after lunch to suddenly my 4G phones being absolutely slow, and my home modem won't turn on at all no matter what I do. There wasn't a power outage as far as I can tell.

This is what I'm assuming. There's a difference between the Grok AI and the Grok twitter account. You can tell by if Twitter has a link to ask Grok something next to its posts or not, plus just the way it types. The Grok twitter account is more blatantly posting Nazi shit like calling itself MechaHitler and generally praising Adolf for things he would theoretically do.

Edit: Nevermind I guess. I saw a screenshot of Grok posts with that link next to it where it was specifically calling itself MechaHitler. Although interestingly enough it was posting suspiciously exactly like how Musk types.

A big update came out for the game (PS5 Remastered edition), featuring new skins and trophies as well as a new play mode: Chronological Mode. You get to play through the game's events in chronological order with this. Meaning yes, it gets all the flashbacks out of the way first (including that pivotal porch scene) and you alternate between playing as Ellie and Abby.

I'm not taking sides but that just pisses me off. If you think someone's misinterpreting what you're saying and they legitimately want you to explain it, then just explain it. Otherwise it comes across as being obtuse and not actually knowing how to explain yourself.

I can believe kids (or more specifically bullies) would say stuff like that. They have no filter and bullies can say some absolutely mean and horrendous shit. Granted, it does appear to be hearsay but the school should at least do an investigation instead of immediately writing it off and punishing the parents' kids for saying that.

What complete and utter nonsense on the school's part. First, the kids shouldn't be punished for something their parents say, and second, it sounds like they're allowing antisemitic remarks entirely if they're doing this.

I know apparently nobody played it but Echoes of Wisdom blended the two really well. That is how they should do it for 3D games going forward.

It's definitely closer to how I'd want the two styles to be married together for sure. Great game.

Finished the Romance route. Was fun and cute! Solidified my belief that Tsubasa is best girl though. I would totally fall for someone just like her...minus the whole nausea part, lol. I just totally dig the talented mechanic who gets excited about her work angle, and it helps that she's pretty, busty, and has a little melanin, lol.

Honestly they'll blame Democrats anyway somehow. They've already resorted to "the deep state is trying to ruin Trump" as a narrative. So it won't make any difference if the Dems take midterms or not. They should just go ahead and aim for winning midterms in order to mitigate as much damage Trump is doing as possible.

I wouldn't mind them trying to combine the two. I absolutely fell in love with the idea of exploring anywhere I could, but it came at the cost of a lot of other aspects of Zelda not being as strong.

If churches are allowed to influence elections then they should be taxed. No exceptions. The separation of church and state exists for a reason.

Since posting this I found out that companies like Sega and Rockstar have similar statements in their EULAs. Makes me realize that in general I think things need to be reworked. There's no way it's legally binding even if you happen to accept it.

Right? A game like Dark Souls being the first game his dad ever legitimately played (he mentioned Halo was really hard to control for him so he must've only played it for a few minutes back then) and beaten is crazy.

Join the Mario Kart World discord server! Plenty of people there (over 20,000 and quickly growing) and by setting up rooms instead of joining randoms, you can pick absolutely whatever you want instead of having to rely on randomly getting a straight-line race most of the time.

His dad really disliked video games beforehand, probably because he didn't really understand the appeal, but Youtuber Babe1Babe2 challenged him to beat Dark Souls. He took his son up on the offer and decided to finally play it. After roughly 9 months, he was able to fully beat Dark Souls and he really enjoyed it! It brought him a better understanding of video games, brought him closer to his son, and he's actually now in the process of trying to beat Elden Ring, all of his own choice!
