It's only 06 and Boom that are complete trash. The rest range from mediocre to good.

I'd argue Secret Rings is pretty trash on my account. Even as someone who generally has no problems with motion controls I got so frustrated with Secret Rings, Sonic is nearly impossible to control right. Black Knight wasn't much better because of the giant lag from sword slashes.

But aside from those, yeah I'm on the side of saying that the criticism of most Sonic games is overblown.

I'm trying to think of another but I can't, really.

I also want to point out that Nintendo just generally dropped any sort of support for Smash tournaments completely, not just Melee. Ultimate was really the only Smash game where they tried it once or twice and then decided that associating with the competitive Smash scene would be a PR nightmare after the shit that went down.

IIRC, also recent Melee tournaments were shut down by Nintendo because they were using modified copies of the game that supported online play. (Slippi I think it was called?) Nintendo HATES whenever any one of their games is emulated or modified.

The "this will cost us money" bullshit doesn't fly when the budgets from these same developers reach in the hundred millions. IIRC the next Battlefield apparently has a roughly $400 million budget. If they're spending that much they can risk losing a few extra dollars just to make an offline version of a game.

Besides, they probably don't realize that it's not literally asking them to keep online games alive forever. Just make a way to be able to play said game when the service is done. Online-only games like Gran Turismo 7 are very likely to just not be playable anymore when they stop supporting it and that's what this is aiming to prevent.

Yeah, it's weird that they thought that would be the best way to handle alt outfits.

It's almost as bad as having to scroll through up to 149 items on a horizontal line that doesn't wrap around, one item at a time, when you want to Fuse something to your Arrows in Tears of the Kingdom, and then have to Fuse again instead of the last item you Fused be automatic when you fire again.

Yeah, same. They only made the "clone character" problem in the previous game worse by doing this. IIRC, none of the costumes ever change anything about a character's hidden stats, so there's no reason for them to be a separate slot. Even if some of them do have unique animations.

RCT? They haven't gotten Switch 2 updates (yet...) so the mouse controls don't work on them.

Could always contact Atari in some way and request such a feature. I already did.

My thing is that a console needs to have enough for me to want it in the first place. It can be exclusive games or certain features. After I have the console, exclusives don't matter to me as I can decide what platform I want to play certain multiplatform titles on. It can be for varying reasons, like if it's better on one console over the others or if I decide one of my consoles needs a new game more than the others.

The Switch 2 itself was worth it for me to get at launch for two reasons: the new Mario Kart, and playing Switch 1 games with better performance. I've got plenty on Switch 1 I still haven't played, both first and third-party, and the eShop sales gave me even more to play.

It be dope if the switch 2 mouse controls work with RCT.

My only gripe with 3 was the controls, they're kinda finicky since you gotta do stuff with "slot wheel" which is hot keyed to R3/L3 if I recall. You can kinda avoid it by simply moving cursor to the desired page but it's kinda unintuitive that way. You might find yourself struggling to back out if the menus that way.

Other than that weird control scheme, it's a good port

Mouse controls on the games would be awesome. I think the games would specifically have to be updated to be able to use it though, and there's not a good chance of that happening. Good to know they're decent ports though.

Rollercoaster tycoon is on switch 2?

It's a Switch 1 port, but yeah the first three RCT games are on there. (RCT Classic is the first two games and their expansions bundled together into one) According to the pages they work without issues on Switch 2, but I haven't tried them yet.

And yeah it sucks, hardly any of the first party games have sales right now, let alone good ones. It's mostly third party stuff.

Burnout Paradise Remastered I heard was a pretty solid port so I grabbed that for under $5. Also got Rollercoaster Tycoon Classic and 3.

Tormented Souls is also 2 bucks, Ys Origin, Duke Nukem 3D, Quake 1 and 2, Katamari Damacy Reroll are all super cheap, tempted to get the Darksiders trilogy too. I see why they did this massive sale to help people get more stuff to play on their new console, lol.

im about half done with box of blessings. After that is conspiracy route and then I think all whats left for me is half decent or great routes

To immediately answer without any specific spoilers: it's the S.F. Route that is considered the "best" or "true" ending. It's one of the branches after sparing Eito and has a few story locks.

As for "2nd Scenario"... it's basically just sparing Eito and then going straight on the Chapter Select timeline all the way to the end. It's one of the routes that has the most effort and budget put into its endings.

Seems a little intentionally tone deaf considering the Stop Killing Games movement is on-going and gaining more momentum. But I know something like that won't change anything immediately.

It's basically one of the big reasons why I love FFVII Remake, aside from the gameplay style. They finally do the characters right after so many years of mischaracterization in the Compilation. It made me really love all the characters, even fucking Yuffie and Cait Sith, lmao.

The other stuff they've done with the story is a bit iffy but I'm hoping they can nail it with the final game. And Cid is a little different from how he was, so I hope they get him a "mean and brash Cid" moment when he has to come back to Rocket Town.

Apparently he was in a meeting and told Repubs that, if they want to win elections, they *can't* cut Medicaid, Medicare or Social Security.
