It's basically one of the big reasons why I love FFVII Remake, aside from the gameplay style. They finally do the characters right after so many years of mischaracterization in the Compilation. It made me really love all the characters, even fucking Yuffie and Cait Sith, lmao.

The other stuff they've done with the story is a bit iffy but I'm hoping they can nail it with the final game. And Cid is a little different from how he was, so I hope they get him a "mean and brash Cid" moment when he has to come back to Rocket Town.

Apparently he was in a meeting and told Repubs that, if they want to win elections, they *can't* cut Medicaid, Medicare or Social Security.

I swear he probably just watches conservative news and does whatever it says he should do.

Trump is clueless about a lot of things so I don't doubt it.

If you end up getting lucky and gain a reasonable amount of popularity, sure. Most streamers don't even get to that point though, sadly.

The Dems are useless at enacting systemic change because the voters handed MAGA all three branches of government. There is nothing Democrats can do beyond the symbolic under those circumstances. Democrats get trashed on here every day, but I dont think some people realize how little the Party can actually do under those circumstances.

Voters need to wake up from 50 years of cult building and make better choices if people actually want the Democratic Party to do something. People treating the parties like they are the same when they are clearly not would be an excellent first step in that endeavor.

Yep. If we still have midterm elections I hope to God that voters do the right thing and vote in Democratic candidates. Because at least that'll hinder Trump. But that needs to be done first. Then when Democrats are in power again THEN we can start weeding out the less effective leadership.

Democrats say they want their party leaders replaced but they've shown they don't show up at the polls when it's needed, and/or just vote for people they're familiar with which is the same old establishment Democrats. This whole country is filled with morons.

It's the movie that gave me somewhat of a fascination of trains as a kid.

Though on a rewatch I think I caught a big plothole and it bugs me.

Yeah I dunno about bringing snaking back. I didn't like how that was the prevalent strategy in MKDS in order to actually have a chance at winning online. Utilizing advanced techs is one thing, but snaking was just tiring. I agree with viewmaster's solution, just tweak the routes so that they offer more interactive elements to make the trick system shine. And maybe buff them just a tad, like default rail grinding speed should be a bit faster. Especially since half the time when grinding on the power lines they follow the outside of the turns for some bizarre reason.

I heard that Harvestella's advertising kinda focused on the wrong part of the game? That it made people think it's yet another farming sim with RPG elements but the farming stuff is just a bit of a smaller part of an actual RPG?

It had to have been years ago, I dreamt that I was in my own house in the middle of the night, but I was so absolutely terrified of moving around in it that I was crawling with my stomach to the floor. I have no idea why I was terrified in the dream, but I was. It eventually woke me up.

Yeah, I dunno how they'd be able to balance it. Sure, you'd always get Mario Kart'd by items but I don't think it was ever this bad.

According to AP, thanks to uproar from the states, the AI provisions in the bill have been struck down 99-1. At least that's one win, AI really needs regulation before it gets out of control.

Yeah, 394 Missions, 200 Medallions, and 150 Panels all strewn about the free roam map. I'd say that's plenty of content, but is it the kind of content that'd be worth $80? That'd be the actual question. To me most of the missions are actually pretty fun, way better than finding Koroks in the Zelda games.

Yeah, I support the idea tbh. Making an MMO or online/live service game playable in some form after its service is done with should be a more common practice. I remember Nintendo did that with their Animal Crossing mobile game.

I could definitely see the DNA of Odyssey in there, but good to have confirmation. Nintendo's usually shy about revealing who did what for new projects until release.

Yeah, I was in that position. I was led to believe Hillary would be a worse candidate but Trump was a joke candidate that ended up being the one chosen to run against her, so I begrudgingly voted for him.

That was it though. I regret my decision and never voted for him again. People who consistently vote for him despite what he's doing don't get any sympathy from me when shit goes south for them.

Yeah. Him and Copeland I think have that theology of like, "if you're in hardship it's because you're not right with God" or some shit. The Bible they're supposedly preaching from even says that everyone will experience hardship, even the most devout.

They tried to remove duping but I think a brand new method got introduced thanks to the Zelda Notes app feature. You can dupe items by saving first, putting up to 10 items in a QR Code for distribution, then reload and scan the code yourself. It's slow though, you can only scan the same QR Code once every 24 hours. Because of the way it works I don't really seeing them patching it. Even if it did force a manual save you can easily just go back to an auto-save before you deposited the items you want to dupe.
