Not sure, but hopefully by Friday. Court is going to start at 10am eastern tomorrow because they went so late today. They'll get jury instructions and then begin deliberating, I think.

It was just a tweet by another reporter who largely said the same thing. The tweet was too long, so the Twitter embed on GameFAQs truncated it. Then I edited it to make it a screenshot of the whole tweet, but then realized that UltimateWing posted a Tweet that tells the same story without the truncating or need for a screenshot. So I decided to delete my post.

Also another logical problem for the defense. They want to make a big deal about Michael Cohen stealing $30,000 from the Trump Organization, but... if the ~$420,000 was money he was entitled to and not a reimbursement, then he couldn't have stolen it. It would just be his to do whatever he wanted.

This is really the crux of the problem. They made up a lie about voter fraud and told that lie over and over so much that people believe it's happening all over the place without any evidence to back it up. Then they turned around and used people's mistaken belief as a reason to keep telling the lie.

Yeah, and that's the elephant the defense is trying to ignore. Yes, Cohen lied to numerous people... courts, congress, his family, etc...

But he went to prison because he committed crimes for the benefit of and at the direction of Donald Trump. It makes no sense at all for Michael Cohen to take out a home equity loan on his house to pay Stormy Daniels if Trump didn't want him to do that.

It also makes no sense for Michael Cohen to do that behind his family's back if he wasn't expecting Trump to reimburse him for the cost of it.

They would have the jury (or anyone, for that matter) believe that Michael Cohen just saddled himself with $130,000 of debt out of the goodness of his heart? Come on, now.

And that's just the plain fucking truth. The defense can rightfully call Cohen a liar and all that, but... Anyone who commits illegalities for Trump, loses their law license (or whatever career they were in), goes to prison, etc. and sees Trump just walking free and doing whatever he wants day to day SHOULD want to see him face the same punishment or worse.

It will always blow my mind that so many people are 100% willing to throw their families, freedom, livelihoods, careers, friends, etc. away to do dumb illegal shit for Donald Trump.

I'm guessing the prosecution is wanting to take ~4.5 hours to go through the specific documentation supporting each of the 34 charges, but we'll see. That's just under 8 minutes per charge.

Yeah, when I was looking for houses in San Antonio 3 years ago, the only house I found that wasn't in an HOA was one that was built 30 years ago and needed a bunch of repairs to fix it up. I decided to go with a new construction home instead and HOA neighborhoods were the only option.

Yeah, I'm just not in any rush to build a new one because my old PC still runs like it's brand new. I'm actually amazed. I'll never buy a pre-built PC ever again. I've never had a pre-built PC last more than a few years or so without either having some fatal error or just ending up being slow AF. Then I built this one and it just... works. I've had to replace a couple hard drives and a power supply, but that's it.

My ~10 year old PC is too old for it. I'm probably gonna build a new one toward the end of this year.

I think the most important thing with a belt is that the color of the belt matches the shoes and other accessories. If your shoes are black, get a black belt. If your shoes are brown, get a brown belt. Also if your shoes have silver "highlights" like the shoe lace holes or whatever, make sure whatever buckle style you choose is also silver. Same for cuff links if you use those.

Other than that, it's just choosing a style you are comfortable with and you like.

I'm (finally) taking my CCNA next month in bo small part thanks to your help.
I'm confident on setting up a network, ok at troubleshooting, and a little weak on things you just need to memorize (syslog levels, port numbers).

It is. Having a CCNA puts you ahead of most other applicants when it comes to interviews. The vast majority of people won't get any certs even if they have the skills to do so. It's a sign that you take your career seriously. Cisco also incentivizes companies to hire and keep a certain number of Cisco certified individuals. I haven't worked for a company that has enough to qualify for the incentives, though.

Question, for the electoral colleges that are designed. Why are these people not at the fore front on how they select the winner? They make the final call and not the voter right.

In most states, the electoral college votes for the candidate that won the popular vote in their respective states. There are a few states that split that based on having different popular vote winners in different regions of the state, though.

In 2020, for example, most of the voters voted for Biden, so Biden got all 16 of Georgia's electoral college votes. I think Nebraska and Maine are two states that have different regions, so if one of those states has 5 electoral college votes, there may be a 3/2 split or whatever it actually works out to be.

There is also such a thing as faithless electors, where one or more members of the electoral college will vote for a certain candidate even though they lost the state's popular vote. There's not much of a chance of that happening, though.

Ive been interested for a while but never got the motivation to actually study for the CCNA. I dont have a good opportunity at work to get hands on experience with network gear at the moment either. Instead I do mainly coding and some project work

I started out using virtual network simulators. I started with Cisco Packet Tracer and then moved on to GNS3 for CCNP level stuff. Cisco Packet Tracer has improved quite a bit since I started using it, so the need for GNS3 may not be there as much these days.

If the only important thing is the election itself, then why post the polls at all?

I've been wondering this more and more myself since the 2016 election. I was one of those people who were wowed by the accuracy of FiveThirtyEight and threw out any sort of critical thinking and just formed my idea of what was going to happen based on what they said. Then Trump won.

Then Democrats started over-performing polls in 2018, 2020, and 2022... I'm hoping that trend continues, but I'm not putting much stock into what a poll says any more.
