I dunno if the game itself would actually be too difficult, but how about the original Thief: Dark Project (or the updated re-release known as Thief Gold)?

It's not really a horror game necessarily, but the tense atmosphere of sneaking around and avoiding guards who can rightfully kill you in combat due to being better trained, as well as a few levels that are outright horror inspired, should be interesting.

That being said, if you're gonna play, I would suggest playing it on Expert - not because Normal or Hard are too easy, but because Expert forces you to explore more of the level and get more things, putting you more at risk of dying, and also restricts you the most as far as your behavior (no killing humans is the usual rule)

Sounds awesome, but probably a bit too extreme for a group with very little video game experience.

Excellent. One of them is my wife, and she loves horror movies. She played FNAF with us last year. Two of the others are complete wusses, and the other is another big Lovecraft/horror buff. So this should be awesome.

We're going to have an all girl Mini quest on the channel shortly, and one of the games they're going to play is Pokemon Snap (since they all love Pokemon but only one of them knows how to actually battle)

For the second one, I want to do a Halloween special and get them to play the scariest game imaginable. I don't want to do Five Nights at Freddy's since it's been done to death, and we've already played it on the channel.

What would be a good game for four girls to play who only have a very minimal accumulated experience with video games in general? I feel like anything Resident Evil would almost be too complicated for them with the tank controls and what not. And again, we've already play Resident Evil to death on the channel.

Another thing is one of our mics recently busted and we started a gofundme to get us back up and running ASAP. I know the chances are very slim, but if you guys felt a little extra charitable today, any little bit helps to get us back "in the studio" (my basement).

Also, if you haven't caught up with us, we recently had a truly terrible episode of our Pokemon Emerald Nuzlocke where our whole team got swept by a friggin Zangoose. I've been grinding levels up on the B squad off camera for a few days now, but I'm scared our Pokemon are way too shitty to continue.

We finally got it done. Our 1 year anniversary video celebrating a whole year of Tarvould's Quest. If you guys haven't checked it out before, or thought it was too much to get into a super long series of videos, then this video is perfect. It's a selection of some of our greatest/most hilarious moments over the past year (That were not included in the first two highlight videos).

I'm going to be pushing this video hard on social media and around the internets, I'm hoping with our new look and new structure we can have a boom in subscribers and get to that 10k view count so we can monetize.

I worked incredibly hard on this and I'm really happy with how it turned out, it would mean a lot if you guys gave it a watch and let me know what you think :) I can't wait for people to see the new structure for our main videos as well, I'M REALLY EXCITED!!

Yeah man. All in Premiere Pro. I chopped the background image up into 4 pieces and made them scroll downwards at varying speeds to give it that Mega Man 2 effect. The hardest thing was animating the Hadoken beam to only come out of my hands, background masking is hard to learn.
