Do not underestimate the Ghost type. Lunala has Ghost type, Solgaleo doesn't. Ghost type is one of the most popular types on this board (along with Dark type) and Ghost type has 2 Pokemon (Decidueye and Mimikyu) that are strong contenders to win this ranking project.

Damn, Inviso still has almost his entire top 20 remaining and very few Pokemon in the lower rankings left. Looks like Inviso probably finishes dead last in the outlier rankings with the Pokemon he still has left.

Although I'm quite surprised at how low I am in the outlier rankings (28 out of 42) considering my strong preference for cute Pokemon, most of which didn't do that well in this thing.

OrangeCrush: Passimian Battle 2017 Day 1: Link vs. Guybrush vs. Passimian

hotdogturtle: Passimian is somewhat bland, both in movepool and stats (it honestly reminds me of a gen 1 Pokemon if you only look at the data). But it makes up for it by looking really cool. It has great animations too. One unfortunate thing is that Game Freak has made its Hidden Ability (Defiant) unobtainable for the time being, meaning that Passimian has no functional ability in Singles. With Defiant he'd at least be able to accomplish something worthwhile.

mnkboy907: I love lemurs, and making a buff football lemur is weird, but they really succeeded with it. I know it's not based solely on a lemur, but I can't remember the name of the other monkey that it gets the helmet and the kind of crest from.

swordz9: Star player of the Zanarkand Apes

XIII: These guys make me laugh

Inviso: Generic Fighting-type sure, but I love Fighting-types nine times out of ten.

Cybat: "This Pokémon’s battle strategy involves throwing Berries at opponents, hard ones for damage and soft ones to obscure vision, and confusing opponents by throwing the Berry to other troop members. " Where is my Passimian RTS, GameFreak?

StifledSilence: Exclusive monkey is exclusive.

Luster Soldier: There were some mentions of Harambe when this Pokemon was revealed, but to a much lesser extent compared to Oranguru. Between these 2 Pokemon, I prefer Oranguru more than Passimian on design alone.

ctes: Passimian looks alright, but that's all it has going for it. In my opinion it's 10 times better than its Moon counterpart, but 0x10 is still 0, making it a moot point. I ranked it near the top of the garbage can, but there was really no point in this thing existing at all. I might've been less annoyed if they didn't give us two of these trash Pokemon, but it's still stupid.

I'm pretty sure there are still testicles in that picture.

swordz9: Really like the colorful and elegant design

Paratroopa1: holy shit, lurantis is the best fucking thing ever? move over scyther this is the new best mantis thing. look at those striped pants and that sassy pose. it kicks ass. it absolutely kills me that I couldn't rank lurantis #1 you really have no idea

PrinceKaro: Like ribombee, a good lesson in how to design a bug type. Oh wait, it isn't a bug type? Damn you gamefreak, DAMN YOU! Why wouldn't you make a fucking praying mantis a BUG TYPE?

Luster Soldier: This cute and feminine looking Grass type had such a cool design that I considered this Pokemon as a possible member of my in-game team, but an early leak of the full game revealed that it had a horrible stat distribution (very low speed). So this Pokemon got removed from any consideration for my in-game team. Even worse was the hidden ability, which turned out to be Contrary. This has led to Lurantis being used more as a special attacker with Leaf Storm despite the physical attack being higher than the special attack, since it has no physical moves that can take advantage of Contrary. And with its slow speed, it's also heavily outclassed by Serperior who has much better speed.

Brayze_II: this one is nothing but trouble

Cybat: Gains points for a cool name and very tough Totem battle, loses points because someone pointed out its goofy candy cane pants and now I can't unsee them.

Raka_Putra: The Totem ver. approaching the player character was excellent thrill, scarier than anything in Paranormal Activity

ctes: Lurantis looks decent enough, but it's not too good. Having physical Solar Beam as your signature move is cool, but outside of harsh sunlight, it's nothing too great. It's speed tier is ass and it feels completely outclassed by Tsareena, perhaps only having a slightly better design.

mnkboy907: I couldn't unsee the bacon pants, and honestly now that detracts from it, lol. Oops! My first Gen VII shiny.

Inviso: Candy striper is pretty cool, but again, generic grass types have to really EARN my respect, which this did not.

StifledSilence: John Lurantis

Paratroopa1: this hits like this weird perfect sweet spot for me of being really cool as shit but not being too tryhard for a 3-stage dragon line. I like everything about this guy, his snarly mouth, his scale-armor hair, everything about him rules

Inviso: Fighting-type is good. Unique combo with Dragon is better. Being easily-obtaining (if a little rare) by the time you actually get ahold of one? Fuck YES.

ctes: While the name kinda bothers me with the "-", Kommo-o is a pretty badass Pokemon, it's a lot more balanced in terms of stats than most other pseudo legendaries. It's pretty good, though I do prefer Pokemon that excels in something and isn't completely balanced. It IS mostly defensive, but the different is minimal. Still, great Pokemon! Gets a good placement!

Ermine: Really cool Dragon. Very solid line as well.

Raka_Putra: Dragon/Fighting, what's not to love?

XIII: Pretty boring pseudo, but not bad I suppose.

swordz9: I feel like the amount of scales are overkill

Brayze_II: lol nice watermark dumbass

Cybat: It feels like this design kind of got away from them a bit, with all the scales hanging everywhere. But I still enjoy the color scheme and overall feel of the design, and you can't go wrong with Dragon/Fighting. And Clanging Scales is cool.

StifledSilence: Comma.

Luster Soldier: Besides the designs of this entire Pokemon line being a major disappointment, this Pokemon in particular is also a disappointment in terms of a rather poor movepool by Pseudo-Legendary standards. The combination of both the movepool and stat distribution means it's better suited as a special attacker, despite the higher physical attack. The physical side lacks a viable Fighting move, while the special side has to use the unreliable Focus Blast. Move tutors will probably save this Pokemon in the upcoming Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon games (or Gen IV remakes).

mnkboy907: Poor Hakamo-o. This line did not turn out well at all. Bad color scheme and just too much going on. Apparently it sucks competitively, too.

IMO that's way too low for him. Dunno what you guys are doing
