Darksiders plays a lot like a newer Zelda game, just with more gore. Been called a combination of Zelda and GoW though it doesn't really surpass either game, doesn't do anything wrong either. You really can't go wrong for 5 bucks.

If you have Jolly Roger but never played it, like me, it's good to note that the ticket achievement takes like 15-20 mins. to do, it's pretty simple.

Am I right in assuming that the Super Meat Boy task for today means getting A+ on every stage in Hell?

I've picked up most of the ones I was missing, but the last few are going to drive me insane, and I don't want to give myself a coronary unless I'm doing the right thing.

Also, anyone wanna try to get the Magicka one?

Trying to get the Toki Tori achievement. Fun game but it might take a bit to get. I'm assuming you need to unlock all of your powers before you can stand in all the sun rays, and you probably need to beat the game or at least come pretty close to beating the game in order to do so.

There was a savegame file floating around that you can use to get the SMB achievement. But I guess I can't post it here.

As for Toki Tori, I haven't tried it yet but I did save this guide for the ticket--



1-4 hard to explain. Go up the ladder where the spike monster and get the egg. Go back down the latter just a step and drop a platform. Walk across it and climb the other ladder. Spin around and freeze the spike guy just as he's partway onto your platform. Cross back get on the ice block and you'll be able to teleport onto the block above and the sunbeam.

1-5 Grab the left egg run back up the ladder over the top of spikey and down the other ladder and hit him with a freeze just as he drops into the hole. Drop all the way down and climb up the left side. Get on the little peg on the top and throw out two steps to your left. You should be able to teleport onto the ridge above. Add a step to the right and you can walk across. One more teleport and done.

1-6 Climb down a ladder and grab an egg. Climb back up and grab another egg and drop down once the spike guy below you is to your left. Run to the right drop down and add a step to cover the gap. Two spike guys will walk across it and into a pit. Hit them with ice and climb on the block to teleport through the wall

1-7 This sucked as I'm sure I did it wrong. Get up on the peg and make a step to the left. Walk all the way you can to the left onto it. Wait the spikes to pass overhead. Last one teleport up and quickly hit him with ice. If you get it EXACTLY right you can use him as a step to the beam. I had to try about 8 times before this worked.

Thanks for the Toki Tori guide, I am now tan! Also Jolly Rover is relatively easy. Anyone own Dwarves?! I have it but have no clue how to unlock the carnival mode or whatever. Perhaps there's something in the steam forums...

Figured it out, tricky to get, you have to have a 10 hit combo to get the 2500 points required. Don't know why I'm trying all this, the chances of winning are slim to none, I guess it's just something to do.

Found this on the SMB Steam forum, because I was curious myself:

You need to beat all Ch. 4 levels (Hell) with a sum time of less than 495 seconds across all light and dark world levels (this is quite a bit faster than just getting A+ on all levels). Once you are sure you've done that (or just want to check), close the game and re-launch Super Meat Boy. If your sum time is less than 495 seconds the achievement will unlock on the main menu.

That's for both light and dark worlds, but not warp zones. That is actually quite a bit better than A+ ing every level, which is ridiculous.

It's like monkey island if you removed everything that made the secret of monkey island charming and witty. I had it from buying that ten dollar indie pack with it + gish + recettear. So free ticket, I guess.

there are 40 levels altogether for the smb thing yes? *is too lazy to load up to be sure* so 495 seconds means an average time of around 12ish seconds on every level.

that is...still pretty insane. granted, i say this mostly because i am on the hell stages right now, having beaten nearly all of them, but lacking much of the dark world equivalents >_>;;

I need to stop buying stuff. I got Metro 2033, and The Witcher for 13 a piece, then I got Half-Life Complete pack for 10, and all the Magicka DLC for about 7 or so for just the DLC. That's just the first two days.
