Hit Legend for the first time. The new ladder reset changes are pretty sweet. It doesn't feel like you need to sink a massive amount of hours now that you only reset four ranks.

What does Kingsbane rogue have good matches against? Control? Like ive always just ran over them before they could do much of anything

I pretty exclusively play control, yeah. Priest and Mage.

From what I can see Kingsbane Rogue isn't even good enough to make the tier list? I like playing control but only high up on the ladder. Games take too long to play it low on the ladder.

I made a Murlocadin variant earlier today since I already had most of the pieces and the ones I needed to make aren't rotating and are great cards (Calls to Arms and Tarim). This deck is pretty cancerous. I assume this is what Pirate Warrior felt like (I never played it myself).

I don't know what meta sites are considered the best, but Tempostorm lists it as tier 3.

Oh it's listed as Mill Rogue? Tempo Storm was what I actually checked.

It's good against most late game decks. I had a game where my dagger was up to 22 damage a couple days ago. It's rough against agro though. I took out a sap and put in a blade flurry to help.

Its good against decks that try to grind you out because you cant really be ground down

I feel like Cubelock itself is a wash though, Skull of Manari playing the demon before getting the draw down is actually a pretty big deal

I don't care about the number of gold reward, I reroll anything I might dislike doing or is inconvenient to do

I don't reroll 50g quests because rerolling into 40g feels bad. The exception is if it's something I REALLY don't want to do.

They are changing the minimum gold reward to 50g soon (I think with the expansion patch), so soon it will be correct to always reroll 50g.

So, one of my quests reset itself today. Yesterday I had to win 5 and 2 with Paladin/Priest, so I was waiting until today to reroll the cheap one. Log in and my quests are win 5 with Paladin/Priest, play minions that cost 2 or less and deal 100 damage to the enemy hero. Not sure where the other one went but these 40g quests aren't any better...

edit: looking back at the start of the topic, I see it's obvious that it hadn't happened yet. But I just sort of skimmed several days ago and after a while it somehow stuck in my head that it was already gone.

That would be neat. A lot of my favorite memories of WoW are from the intervals when a new major patch was out, but the expansion wasn't live yet. Most notably, the transition from WotLK to Cata. Shadow priest was ridiculous in pvp because of how they'd refactored mana and healing.

Blizzard is possibly the most pro communication with players company in the entire industry. In fact, they often communicate too candidly and give players lots of petty ammo to use against them when they don't get exactly what they want.

They definitely dropped the ball on that ladder change though.

The Hearthstone team communicates all the time, they just rarely say anything of substance when they do. They've been better lately, but it still feels like a lot of what they talk about gets the "It's on our radar" treatment.

My girlfriend is getting me a Tempo Storm jersey for my birthday in a few months, and I can't decide whether to go with the white or the new dark one. The white jersey is classic, but the dark one has a nice look to it.

Of course I'll be getting Reynad on the back, considering he created the game of Hearthstone.

The Kickstarter for his card game is apparently a few weeks away from starting. I'm interested in seeing how different it is from Hearthstone considering Reynad has been one of the biggest critics of the game (and the RNG). I've never backed anything on Kickstarter but I'll probably get in at one of the lower tiers.

Every match I've played this morning has been against Priest. I won them all but I hate playing Priests.

Man, I unironically love playing Dude Paladin. Tokens are my jam, and I think this is actually a deck that feels like how I expected Paladin to play (many dudes + buffs) instead of just the weird mash of midrangey and aggressive goodstuff it's been for most of the game.

Call to Arms definitely too strong though.

Yeah I think this is the easiest and fairest nerf. I've seen people suggest having it pull 3 1-drops instead but I think that's way more heavy-handed and would forcibly change the deck's construction.

Just played my favorite game of arena I've ever experienced. Turn 1 Feral Gibberer against a Paladin with no answer except Blessing of Wisdom. He got two cards off of it but I think that's a fair trade, since the game nearly went to fatigue and I probably played 40-50 of the damn things.

I pick that card almost every time it appears but this is the first time I got more than a single activation off the lil guy.
