Hagatha is 8 mana, deal 3 damage to all minions. Hero power is a passive "After you play a minion, add a random Shaman spell to your hand."

The battlecry is good but I don't think the hero power is good enough.

Maybe run Hagatha in an elemental deck with Grumble/Zola/brewmaster type shenanigans? Things like Fire Fly get a bit better in the late game, you just need to survive to get there. A random shaman spell feels worse than a random mage spell though, without looking it up.

It might take a while to print additional useful spells, but given Shaman is losing Maelstrom/devolve/jade lightning/stormcrack/evolve, there should be at least one good spell this set.

The priest copy spell feels like something that will enable some kind of combo deck, given things like Velen/Mind Blast still exist in standard. It might be tougher without Barnes, but there are a lot of potential applications for it.

My post was mostly poking fun at "not a skill game, bever will be." That 39 game win streak doesn't come at Legend because there is less of a gap in skill. The fact that he is more skilled and playing against weaker opponents is the reason for the streak!

Not a skill game, never will be a skill game. I don't give a shit who streams what or who disagrees. Blizzard employees who have worked on the game have told me to my face the game was designed with the goal in mind of removing player skill.

Just had a 203 arena run. My deck was pretty average. All 3 of my losses were to my opponents who had lich kings in their decks. 2 of them were obviously pre change power and one of them had pretty okay cards, but just had the lich king randomly. The two guys I beat were like really bad, one of them coined for no reason at all on turn 6 to play something that cost 6.

So I played a fair amount tonight. Rank gains are so small now. Like I think I started at like 600 or something today and ended at like 320 or so. Went 15-10.

Also played firebat. But he was afk so I mean there's that.

Man, I can't get over the amount of stars it takes to rank up at lower rank. It's just ridiculous given the type of decks you play against sometimes.

I logged in to potentially climb some ladder. First match was a 20 minute slogfest against some sort of Warlock (control I assume). I mean I won so at least there was that but jesus christ it must be so demoralizing to lose those sort of games if you get a string of them (or actually play that deck). I'm not playing fucking 20 minute ladder games at Rank 20, especially as I'm playing some janky ass off meta deck. So I immediately logged out after the match

Related sidenote but I wish rope time was shorter.

There's a lot of grinding up front with the new system but in the long run you'll spend less time ranking up because you won't get pushed back as many ranks after the reset.

My monthly goal used to be rank 5 and now I'll have reached that before playing a single game next month.

Of course if you don't play enough games then it'll just continue to be a grind. I guess they figured the people who care enough about their rank will put in the games and the people who just want to complete quests and get a card back won't mind being at a low rank.

I guess the only positive of these star changes are that the bottom end of the ladder is truly terrible.

I'm up to Rank 18 3 Stars and I have yet to lose a single game this ranked season starting at Rank 25. Which isn't really that impressive given quality of opponent but I am also playing a deck where I literally just threw Paladin shit together as I didn't have a meta deck available and didn't want to spend dust

I think the universe is telling me to play Shadowverse instead, their new expansion comes out today so it seems like a good time to start!

Also, speculation, but with all the hand support Druid is getting, could we get something like... Power of the Woods: 2 mana, Choose One: Give your minions +1/+1 or Give minions in your hand +1/+1? I'm not sure that they'd print a straight upgrade of Mark of the Lotus/Smuggler's run, so being 2 mana seems like a compromise. It fills the void left in token druid from Mark of the Lotus rotating too, plus it fits the minor even theme the hand cards have had.

I got my daily quest and it was to play 30 warlock cards. So I went on control warlock today and spun together 4 wins (Combo Priest, Quest Mage, Murloc Paladin, Pirate Warrior).

I basically erased my bashing my head against ladder last night.

I got a frozen throne pack with nothing good in it. I do have like a Witchwood pack though from the other day. I should have around 5000 gold went the expansion hits if it does on the 10th.
