I was watching the direct and street fighter had a whopping 36 songs, which seems super high. Seems likely we might get some more on that front. Final fantasy as a series is listed as "final fantasy vii" which means we probably won't see any others in that series sadly.

Yeah. From what we can tell, the top characters on the ballot aside from Bayonetta seemed to be Ridley, K. Rool, Climbers, Snake, Wolf, Shovel Knight, Waluigi, and Isaac. Shovel Knight was probably never going to happen due to status, and Waluigi got shafted for some reason, otherwise the last outstanding MIA is Isaac.

Curses his enemies into Deku Scrubs? But yeah, it's hard to imagine it as anything but The Moon.

I really think it'll be Elma over Rex. Sakurai bought a toy mech so he could play around with its rifle. I doubt it'd be for K. Rool's blunderbuss, and it wouldn't make sense for anyone else we've seen so far. Rex and Pyra's designs were finished in time for them to make the roster, but I doubt much else was and with how accurate Shulk was I don't think he'd want to go and make stuff up for them like he did with Greninja.

Oh another thing to discuss: when do you guys think the next Direct/reveal will be, and will there be more than one before release? Like let's say they keep it to 2 reveals per Direct, 2-4 more characters sounds about right for what's left (not including echos), so maybe one around October?

I think Rex and Pyra are likely picks for DLC but too recent for the base roster.

Rex and Pyra are a shoo-in for DLC, but I don't think Xenoblade 2 was in far enough development for them to be considered for the initial roster.

I don't think Skull Kid will get in just because they clearly wanted each Zelda rep to be from a different game, and Young Link already reps MM.

Maybe one more Smash exclusive Direct to talk about the secret menu item / reveal stuff and another character reveal or two in a normal Direct.

I'm guess like 3 normal and 3 echos are left, so that would work out I think
