My first instinct was to flavour meta pun's claim since the Bible isn't strictly English Lit, but I guess it being pointedly the King James English version could be construed as tying it to a Miller role. Alternatively it could just be anti-town claiming their real flavour as town, and that has me going in circles. It's fishy anyway.

I realized over night millers really suck, now that I'm one of'em.

King James VI and I, Town Miller

King james as in, the King James Bible. Miller because I didn't actually write the Bible but I just got my name slapped onto the English version of it.

I debated not even claiming it because I love being coy about my role whenever possible, but, meh. Was hoping for something shortlived, but NOPE.

I see MyLo in my future. Whoopee

I will withhold judgment on him just a I did for MZero. But I can't buy into King James being connected to anything other than the Bible. And maybe I'm biased, but I'm not going to believe the Bible is scum. So, no I don't think Puns is claiming his real flavor as scum in this case. It's a safe-list claim or it's his flavor.

He said people that do unnecessary checking in are town because they could have just not done it and pointed to their own inactivity. I disagreed greatly with this line of thinking. The person was town however.

He isn't trying to claim an easily believable role though, he post #1 claimed Miller, which guarantees putting yourself front and centre. If he's lying, then he's trying to hide in plain sight, not behind a watertight fakeclaim.

Its why Lopen is scummy, fyi. He is engaging in anti town behavior that borders on breaking the rule about playing to win.

I strongly believe that anti-town behavior and scum behavior are not the same thing. It's one of my fundamental rules when I play. In fact often doing anti-town stuff is actually a sign that you are in fact town. In this particular case, it's a null tell since Lopen hinted it at the end of last game.
