I see we're back to the communist "all lynches are equal" strat. Uhhh. I dunno. Why, audience, does Mzero deserve to live? With his timezone shenanigans we must heap votes on him so that he does things overnight. He never did show up for the last 7 hours of day one, so from now to 11 am~ ish tomorrow may be our only real shot to make him claim or whatever.

I don't want to lynch Red, the claim will resolve itself. I think shooting for the stars is -EV here.

I could be persuaded into going after Tom. I have not felt the slightest bit of killing intent from him in regards to myself. Oh, he was chomping at the bit to have me lynched by Chris D1, but when Chris dropped it so did Tom. HOWEVER. Tom forgot that he already thought I was scummy before all that because he didn't like my defense of saying I was bad at mafia. So, I'd expect more aggression from Town here. Hmmm actually I make a pretty good case to go after Tom. But Mzero offends me with his obv scum aura.

Sbell is going full Eeyore, not the most fun adventure. I kind of want to stay away from anyone Mzero votes, but as you've likely figured out I'll join most bandwagons. When I look at my list of reasons to think Sbell might be town it's just a blank word document, which is never a great look.

I have lynching red as +EV as he is scum and leaving him alive causes damage while it resolves itself. For example if our protection is actually convinced by his claim he can draw them allowing scum to shoot priority targets. He also could be a scum power role of some sort.

Also again the possibility of him pulling a mislynch gambit is there.

I can see the logic. Once upon a time I'd certainly be arguing the same and annoyed by people taking the conservative view of "oh if he's scum he's already hanged himself." But then I mislynched too much town power and I'm no longer brave. I will add though that it's an extremely poor way to play one of the most powerful roles in the game. Someone as strong as town Red should have been able to manage a token effort to not be suspected so severely that he has to claim/almost be hammered. Ok I do want to still kill Red a little I admit.

Sorry lopen.

I came home and just played dq11 all afternoon. Went for a walk got some dinner. And I just don't have my heart in it right now.

Day 2. It's no detriment to town. There are plenty of loud voices here to usher in our lynch of the day.

I ask it not be me. Gosh, day 3 would be nice. I can almost see that sun over the horizon.

But on a more serious note, if you think sbell walks into a game with this many big names and plays a scum role like the way I've been playing then perhaps town is in for quite a ride.

At best it feels misguided

Tom's progression of suspicions went like this

- Red is town for doing stuff (he wasn't, ever)
- Red is not surefire town because Pez put a convincing argument against him
- But oh yeah Pez is scum because ???
- But I'm still convinced by his argument on red. No other arguments on red have been good.

It just doesn't seem natural to me. It feels like Tom simultaneously tries to distance himself from red who is garnering suspicion while making an escape valve from voting red if the lynch gains traction and being caught in that contradiction. It's not how I'd expect town to think. You can't legitimately suspect someone and simultaneously be swayed by their arguments.

It is possible, but is it likely?

Scum can make good town arguments, but usually it would be to clear town. Unless you have a pattern of behavior where they often bus teammates, you would inherently distrust a scum member's argument on who is scum. It's only natural.

Mzero is replicating last game and he was town there. I don't know what to do with him here so he's in the neutral pile.

It's one third gut, one third pettyness because no one wants to lynch him, one third whatever the game reasons I said were. Oh yeah, his sketchy list where he called Corrik obv town and Eaed his only scum suspect.

You know it so well but you've only detailed these things when I've pointed out your thinking being contradictory. I don't recall you ever suggesting Pez+red scumteam as your trust in Pez decreased simultaneously with red's. It seems like a natural thing to bring up, but they were treated as independent variables.

To me it signals that you're faking absorbing reasoning and just trying to adjust suspicions to avoid suspicion and avoid being forced into lynching scummates.

Mzero does tend to walk the path of least resistance as both alignments, but when he IS town im used to him actually caring very deeply about not being lynched and taking it seriously when people are trying to lynch him. For someone who has had a lot of attention on him he's done very little to step up his game or address those calling him scum.
