When Chris asked people yesterday for their reads of top 4/5 scum I kept a tally and red was a guy that got a lot of mentions. I think it was 6. By scanning red I figured I would either be able to clear him and stop a lot of people wasting time on him or Id catch him.
Thats why I said he was lying for a long time and not that he was scum. If his claim had matched up with what I received hed be cleared. It didnt. Thats why even after his claim I still said he was lying but not that he was essentially scum. Now that Ive stated I scanned him and that the message I received named him and the information 100% confirms he cant be miss marple.

He could have admitted to faking his flavour and explaining why and Id have still cleared him town if it matched my info but he didnt. Hes sticking to his claim.
If he isnt lying he needs to work out why my scan says something different to what he claims. I dont want him to put town power like Corrik does. I want him to explain why my scan doesnt match his flavour

Ah. Totally unnecessary claim there, but good target anyway. At least we're still on track

I didnt want to give too much away but between reds refuse to budge. Town Power Hunter Corrik and then hb I felt the need to give more info. Too many people just blindly bought reds claim that I had info was wrong. Id have preferred it if more people had questioned it and I could have carried on happily scanning people and got more info. Lopen gets a big well done on your ability to actually think and not just accept whatever people say as true.

Several people myself included didn't trust it but red gave himself a timer. Could've just unmistakably breadcrumbed your scan and moved on. But, I'm not mad or anything, I'll take a scum lynch

I'm aware I'm being a scum sympathizer here. But like, Luis was a hugely, hugely powerful role and he only had to be pegged by a single player to die day 1. One town. Who didn't even have to convince anyone else to vote with him.

I mean enormous props to Chris of course but that's pretty lame honestly.

eh, you could make the same argument about a n1 scan, really. It's hard for me to find a hard line between "too-strong" roles and an "all-nilla" game that makes logical sense.

It's a big difference still though. When mafia flips day 1 it informs all other night actions too. And even 1 night of the mafia having that power is still decent

Im a little confused by these posts confirming that the host says their info was about their specific target. Doesn't exactly sound like something a host should do, unless people are misinterpreting their pms. But I also don't think that's a rabbit hole we should go down. (for the record a night action response should not confirm or deny the existence of a night action modifying role).

And Tom... Always there to be the fish police. Eventually it begins to be a bad look, I hope you realize you can look too concerned about info spilling out.

Also I've flipped on my Corrik read. He's probably scum because his attack on me is really lazy. Corrik is really good at reading me as Town and I think he's just looking for an easy mislynch. His attack on me doesn't make a lot of sense and I expect better from him tbh
