Agatha hummed to herself as she strode through the Prospitian market with her groceries. This would make a good meal, probably! Now if they could only figure out what to do with that poor chained up girl. Her thoughts were interrupted by a distant rumbling, quickly growing louder. It was.....a stampede! Boars rampaged through the market, overturning stalls and scaring bystanders. Agatha found a corner to shelter herself as the stampede run by. She was unharmed, but this was very odd! ...And weren't they heading towards her home base?

A middle-aged man in purple cracked open the door to investigate the creatures stampeding past his home, scattering Prospitians and leaving chaos in their wake. This was too strange to be a coincidence, but what....? He saw a glimmer from a nearby rooftop, and leaped back reflexively. An arrow whistled towards him, grazing his leg but not causing serious damage like it would have a half second earlier. Not missing a beat, the man leapt forward. This would be an interesting one.

Lancer was not sure what to do. The situation being what it was, perhaps she needed more allies...and she couldn't just let a cute girl fight that old man, could she? Wait, cute girl? When had she started thinking of her as cute....and what was that noise from the market? It sounded a bit different than the stampede, which was petering out by now. One problem at a time though. She lined up her shot, and she took it. The man stumbled, and the girl.....

Rider knew he was done. He lay on the ground where he had fallen, and let his head roll to the side. The last thing he saw was the Skaian sunset. It was a strange sun....but the sky still burned red.....

...It looked like Agatha wasn't going to get to try this meal after all...Shame, with all these fun broken toys lying around!

The cave is oddly empty, as you return with your still-unconscious prize. You are cautious in your approach, but all you find is a rather pleased Phantom. He explains that it was very important for his Coloraturas to hone their skills, and so he sent them all to New Prospit to sow chaos and beauty.

1) We need to interrogate this guy before anything.
2) Let's go help with the chaos-sewing! We can tie him up and it'll probably be fine.
3) Send Berserker to go call them back early.
4) Go with Berserker to call them back early.

A) You're frustrated that Berserker acted on his own.

Hopefully they come back okay and/or do some damage, but right now you've backstory to drag out of this weird priest guy. Restraining him first, you slap him awake. He is not particularly happy to see you, shockingly enough. He's not particularly forthcoming, but you manage to get his name (Jeremiah), his status (Master of Assassin except she's dead now), and his intentions (revenge on you). He'll tell anything you want if you let him go afterwards, but has no intention of helping you otherwise.

1) See if he's more willing to talk after a little quality time with Phantom

This guy clearly blames you for how poorly the war has gone for him, but with a bit of bad cop-worse cop with Phantom, you convince him that he might as well catch you up on some stuff and keep some of his body parts. Fortunately for you, you're not the ONLY ones on his **** list. He and Assassin (Feraquea, from Langrisser) had been working with Team Caster (Wario and Caster Jafar) from the start. Assassin had killed the true Creativity Minister and used her Morph ability to take his place, before meeting you and Saber's Master, the Envious Suppressor. They noticed the tail you sent after them, and managed to lead him to Team Caster to fuel the revolution angle.

They had kept ES as a pawn, but Team Assassin had a plan to let him free, in exchange for his stealing the Black Queen's Ring and delivering it later. All of that went south the night of the coup, with you and Ruler and Team Lancer showing up. Lancer defeated Caster after you left. As far as Jeremiah knows, Wario was allowed to live and reign over New Derse in exchange for the Ring and his Command Spells. He doesn't know the whereabouts or identity of anybody else after that- he's been focused on hunting you down but couldn't even do that right, apparently. Seems like about all he knows.

1) Kill him
2) Propose a deal
3) Keep him captive
4) Set him free

A) Let's work on Prospit City next
B) Let's keep rebuilding and healing
C) Let's tie up all the New Derse loose ends

You give him two options. He can work with you under close supervision, and at least get SOME of the revenge he seeks, or he can just rot as a prisoner, maybe becoming a doll at some point. He's clearly not thrilled, but hey, when you put it like that....maybe he'll even get a chance to kill you later.

Phantom seems to be getting worse, if anything. You let him go to Spirit Form for a bit. Maybe you should look into Prospit City on your own. You start to make preparations to that end, when Christine starts getting agitated. A handful of your Coloraturae have returned! They shamble into camp with more urgency than you're used to seeing from them. Moments later, you see why- there's a large army of Prospitians surrounding you. At their head is a vaguely familiar figure.....it looks a bit like Jack Noir, and yet not. Lighter skin, a taller build, and a bit more human-ness. Berserker's not in fighting condition, Christine is rather unstable, your doll army is in rough shape, and Jeremiah is as likely to stab you in the back as he is to help. This is gonna be a tough one.

The deck is stacked against you here, so let's go for something peaceable. Jack Noir II glares menacingly at you, and roars wordlessly after you say your piece. Doesn't seem much for talking. Jeremiah oddly seems intent on standing with you. He whispers in your ear that this guy seems to have the same kind of power as the one from the tower, which means he probably has a ring that is causing the transformation. Removing that ring somehow is probably your best chance if true- you don't like your trio's chances against him, or your dolls' chances against the superior numbers of the Prospitians, or Phantom's odds of survival if he exerts himself here.

....Doesn't look like New Jack is going to wait around. He charges at your group barehanded.

1) Send Jeremiah and Christine in, support with illusions

3) Keep your range and try to occupy Jack, let everybody else handle the minions

"I'll keep him busy; take out the small fry." You wish you felt as confident as you sounded, but that's your best bet at getting most of your squad out of this alive. You expect Jack to rush in like his previous incarnation, but instead he pulls out some sort of device. You weave a bit, not sure what to expect, and it fires some sort of laser at you. Right into your chest. This looks like....the end.

I feel kinda bad Fire Emblem-ing you like that, but I didn't wanna make this the kinda project where the PC gets to cheat, and I already gave you one freebie when Phantom crit-failed his recovery roll))

You are now the other girl- Servant Lancer, Ruby Rose! (RWBY) Your greatest assets are your speed Semblance, your Silver Eyes NP, and your neato scythe that is also a gun. You're probably pretty close to winning this Grail War, but at this point you're pretty sure that's not actually a good thing. Your master is James Kirk (Star Trek), who WAS a good guy, but when you fought Caster and his friends, you took the ring off the monster guy. Kirk tried the ring on later, and that turned out to have been a really bad idea, because now HE'S a berserk monster too! He has taken over Prospit City and barely even interacts with you these days. You're left to try to clean up his administrative mess while he runs around, probably looking for people to kill.

You need to stop him or bring him under control somehow, but you're running out of time and options. Kirk Noir (as he's going by these days) remains under heavy guard, and you don't want to fight innocent soldiers to get to him. Caster, Assassin, Rider, and Ruler are all dead, along with most of their Masters. Presumably False Caster is gone by now as well. You saw one other team in that one fight, but you haven't seen them since, and you're not sure if they were Saber, Berserker, or somebody else. Archer is, uh, really great, but you're not willing to work with her Master, and Archer isn't willing to turn on her.

Argh, you hate sitting around doing paperwork while your Master is probably out rampaging somewhere! There's gotta be something you can do, but what?

1) Go see what he's up to. Maybe he needs help, or maybe you can stop him.
2) Focus on what you can do, and what you can do is keep this city running as smoothly as possible.
3) Go visit Archer. She probably won't be much help, but she might....WELL ANYWAY.
4) Try to seek out other Servants and Masters. Maybe the cranky guy and the mask guy would be good!
5) Wario is an unlikely ally but hey he owes you one. Swing by New Derse.
