So I waited for today for the ~Waver Velvet~ solo rate-up even though I had no expectations and only planned on 2 tickets and one roll and would call it a win if I got some Event CEs to help with clearing the shop this time around.

Ticket 2 - Li Shuwen
Roll - Assassin of the Nightless City, 4* Event CE, and 3* Event CE

So then I did some more event nodes and decided "You know what, it's Waver, why the heck not." and was pondering if I was willing to exhaust my stock here. The question was rendered moot when...

Roll 2: Waver, 2 5* Event CEs, 2 more 3* Event CEs.

it was beautiful

but now i have another 5* Caster oh my god i will never have enough caster materials lol

i'd like to consider this karma for the bleakness of the Kara no Kyoukai rolls instead of a harbinger that my luck will run out when next i want it

Nice! I got Waver too, though it took a few more rolls than you~. Those CEs should be helpful with the event, too.

Waver's basically the most useful Servant in the game, so having him should be quite helpful. It'll take a while to ascend and skill him up though, and he's more meant for support, so he might be a bit less helpful for you in some scenarios for the immediate future.

Yeah, I've taken him along as a friend support in the past (and in this event of course) and he's great. I'm sure it'll be a long road to get him anywhere near that for me, especially if I split some of the attention to levelling up Ana as I had been in the week or two leading up to this event but I was super thrilled to get him here!

like lmfao the KnK rolls were like 300+ SQs and 40 Tickets or whatever it was for a 5* Servant and three 4* Servants (and one of those wasn't Fujino! >_<) and here 60 SQs and 2 Tickets get me a 5* and two 4* servants like lol dammit gacha.

I think I underestimated Monster Hunter more than anything. I didn't realize how big of a deal World was. I just saw Monster Hunter 4 flop against Suikoden II in 2015 and figured World wouldn't be any better.

Oh yeah I did too (by a ton). I didnt think BD was gonna be strong at all, but MH is just a series I never hear anybody talking about. I would have taken it over NNK, but going in I thought the whole four pack was super weak.

I decided to go ahead and dive into book 5 of The Expanse and I'm already sold on it. This is the first book where all the individual members of the Rocinante are the viewpoint characters (usually it's Holden and three other book-exclusive people like Prax). I am definitely intrigued.

...is... is it really? Bloodborne is a legit GOAT-worthy game but don't do this. =(

I wanted to see if it could pull an upset on its own merit (not today obv lol) not some silly rally ugh. Speaking of Souls game, been playing Dark Souls III and so far it's my least favorite of the three + Bloodborne. It's hard to explain. Level design has felt off somehow to me and the combat almost feels like trying to fit Bloodborne combat into Dark Souls items and mechanics and I'm not a fan so far. =(
