Final Fantasy VII Remake Chapter 1 complete!
Battle system is fun, but I'm always bad at defense with this style. Never died though! The Scorpion Sentinel fight was pretty cool. Loving all the banter between Cloud and the rest of Avalanche, too! Interesting twist to show Shinra blowing up Reactor 1 themselves. I guess it's technically a change, but it does fit with what they would do, so it's no big deal. In the original, Jessie does mention that the explosion was more powerful than she expected, so they could take that and run with it here. It works for me. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

Whew, she finally got past it.
Anyway, Final Fantasy VII Remake Chapter 2 complete! Aerith's intro scene was pretty cool, although these ghost things are silly. It's nice to have the snarky, playful Aerith back! That scene on the train between Barret and the Shinra employees was super awkward (THAT IS THE SHINRA CREED), but I dug the North Corel remix! I do like how the ambient dialogue really drives home how big of a deal the Mako reactor explosion was in a way that the original couldn't really capture. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

It'll be in physics, though I don't know what class yet. Hopefully non-major E&M since I've taught that several times before and have my old notes! Afaik it will definitely either be some lower div class or quantum 1 based on what's offered over the summer.
