But Droplet only negates the Kairyu-Shin and cannot exactly prevent that trap to destroy my monster when I do ram my monster to Kairyu-Shin (unless it's something like Borrelend or I:P'd Borrelsword).

And there is Droplet's cost, too. For my decks it hurts.

Just had a Joey moment.

Was playing Nurse Burn to quickly do the "deal 8000 damage" mission, got my opponent to <1000 but they board wiped me. No cards in hand cause of Demise.

Top-deck "The Path of Destiny", players take damage if they get the coin flip wrong. Opponent flips tails and takes 2000 damage in the draw phase.

Fought a dino player.

Drew both of my Baby Rocs (purely extender that can 'miss timing' when being discarded as cost) so I ended up with only a Gae Dearg, Trap Trick, and CbtG.

My Buster Blader DDS got kaiju'd.

Dino had Tyranno x2, 4.1k Savage Dragon, 5.3k Accesscode. They killed one Tyranno to face down my cards, but they cannot OTK because they used Prosperity.

What followed was the dino player being a bit trigger happy with their disruption and Savage Dragon negate....and ending up with my win solely because of Dragunity Arma Gram.

But they scooped. My last daily mission of the month....

In non-MD news, holy shit the OCG is getting an alternate artwork of Engage featuring Roze. This looks so badass, and it reminded me that I need to get back to reading the OCG Stories manga. Hopefully it's translated somewhere.

I got to like ch 4, and I believe it's actually a reference to Roze's first appearance. Similar pose at least, I think

Im using zombies against Ignister. Opponent's been controlling the tempo of the duel the whole time, me only barely surviving thanks to Zombie World capping their plays.

They do some combo as they declare an attack to grab a spell from their grave. It's a game ender, basically when their monster destroys mine, I take damage equal to my monster's attack.

But the kicker is, they attacked the wrong monster. They attacked my Vendread link, guaranteeing that even if they used the spell I'd have 100 lp left. Had they attacked Balderoch I wouldve lost. Guess they didnt realize the combo they had until the effect activation prompt came up.

I manage to turn things around from there and win the game.

No my misplays lose me the duel 9 out of 10 times. The other time I probably got never punished

When I ever had been saved by my own misplays....

I mean saved because your opponent made a big misplay >____>

Though in regards to my own misplays, I forgot to send Astrograph with Electrumite. But I ended up winning because my combo bored my opponent into surrendering <_<

That is also like almost never lol.

Though my previous post of me fighting a Dino had them wasting Borreload Savage negate to a Tempest revival (which cannot really do anything vs Savage, Tyranno, and Accesscode).

Shortly after, they wasted Tyranno's forced face down to my Dragunity Remus instead of waiting for a bit for my Arma Gram (and they SAW me fetching Arma Gram because I drew Dragunity Glow).

And even if they did waste it only for my Remus, they chose to pop Tyranno instead of Accesscode. That actually allowed me to come back.

Looks like we're going to have another Duelist Cup next month.

I don't play as much nowadays, just to get missions done when they are stacked up. The duel pass time needs to be shorter.

The dates for it said it was coming in December, so theoretically we should have a different event in November. Hopefully a more casual one.

It should be either this month or next (or the month after), since there's not that much left from Battle of Chaos, and the next set is Dimension Forces.

I just want Linkage already. Sky Strikers just keep on getting weak. Also, Ultimate Slayer would be nice with Garura for bounce back as well as draw 1 card

A Sky Striker player used Raigeki on my board (Savage Dragon and Borrelend), followed by Droplet to ensure my Borrelend died.

The Sky Striker player threw Lava Golem as Droplet's cost.

I guess they had to choose between Lava Golem or summoning Raye.

edit: also makes me smh because this is the umpteenth time my Borrelend gets destroyed.

Lava Golem costing your normal summon is why I wouldn't use it in Sky Strikers. Kaijus don't cost your normal summon so they're fair game.

Lost against Blue-Eyes.

I got hit by their C twice and I misplayed quite a bit, was too trigger happy with my Jet Dragon revival.

Oh, well.

I built a Relinquished deck, and my first duel with it was against... an AFK bot who didn't summon/play anything and would just constantly pass turn. All I could do was sit there passing turn along with the bot because my Millennium-Eyes Restrict had nothing to absorb to give it any ATK. It took until turn 18 for me to draw a way to finally summon something else, another Relinquished which let me overlay my two monsters into one of the Lyrilusc Xyz monsters and then into Zeus. During all of this, the bot never surrendered and just kept passing turn.

It took me 24 turns to beat an AFK bot due to my unlucky deck choice.

Do you think Fairy Tail - Snow will be banned in MD?

Card's pretty splashable and good.

Edit: and has good ATK for beatstick, too, smh

It's banned in the TCG but unlimited in the OCG, and MD's banlist philosophy has been much closer to that of the OCG so far. So I would guess no.

Hope they don't ban it I run 3 in my main deck card has saved me so many times

Interesting but sounds hella bricky.

I know it's not DIRECTLY about Master Duel but...I caved and bought a display set of Magnificent Mavens. Magnificent reprints and most importantly has Swordsoul reprints. Been wanting to try Swordsouls because of the sick art ever since they were announced.

Problem is, it's another deck I have to learn, alongside the Branded Despia deck I just built too. I WISH I could use Master Duel to practice the decks but...I haven't played in a while and no way do I have the resources to complete either deck lol

Honestly if you make an alt account you can probably build Swordsoul with the starter gems. Just keep pulling from the Tenyi/YangZing packs and dust the extra URs to build 3 Mo Ye, 2 Chix, 1 Cheng, and one Sinister Longyuan >_>

Hm...might do just do that. And I guess only 1 Baronne or do I need 2? I won't be using Baronne irl tho cuz expensive AF lol.

Most builds seem to only use 1 Baronne. I used 2 for a while just because I pulled an extra, but it didn't seem to make a huge difference.

Made an Eldlich player ragequit after I ashed their Sanguine two turns in a row. >_>

I love them tbh. Not exactly meta and they get a lot better with the upcoming Savage Don and AW spell, but they're simple and have great OTK potential. Largely a going second deck. Let me know if you want a sample decklist

Ancient Warriors are a unga bunga slap whole hand onto field me big type of deck. Since it's a modern cave man deck, it can probably beat most modern decks with the right situation. If they don't have an immediate board clear or like a Nibiru, you would most likely win.

So what makes it different than War Rock? From what I see (I faced one in Link Reg) War Rock is also unga bunga deck.

I don't know about War Rock, but the deck is actually a little more versatile than just unga bunga if you can't get the OTK. If you go first or can't finish the duel then and there, you can end on a board of 2-3 interruptions. Gets better when we get the newer cards cuz Savage Don is a DD Crow that draws 1 when it goes off on legs.

Shuraig/Tri-Brigade Revolt package is optional. Extra Deck you can fool around with but only mandatory is 3 Double Dragon Lords so they don't all (hopefully) get hit by Pot of Extrav. Even if you hit all of them, you can still survive with just main deck monsters.

You can run more hand traps if you want but I opt not to because non-AW monsters conflict with Lu Feng's quick effect pop.

Oof, I only have 1 Storm and 1 Imperm. No DRNM (I thiiink I have only one) and Extravagance, lol.

Okay, can we seriously get Rhongo banned now? Three of the last five decks I've run into in Ranked have been running it with Sales Ban - two Floo and a Graydle.

Can only pray that the memelords are going to abuse Numbers Eveil during the next Duelist Cup and Konami will finally ban the bastard. Normally I'd expect them to just limit Eveil or Sales Ban, but that'd be giving away 60 UR dust instead of just 30. >_>

...I'm honestly really interested in whatever the next big banlist is going to be, come to think of it. Think the only big OCG hits we don't have (that aren't related to Spright/Tear) are Union Carrier and Verte. Wonder if we'll see something else.

The last two big leaks/updates were about 3 months apart and came shortly after the first week of the month. I'm hoping we get more soon, it's about that time.

Verte threw Branded Fusion to the GY.

Opponent can still use Branded in Red afterwards to fuse into Lubellion.

....uhh, I thought after Verte sent a fusion card to GY (and being Impermed means it still resolves) we cannot special summon anything else even if it is negated?

Verte's restriction is attached to an "also", so the restriction and the summon are attached to the same effect getting negated.

Compare it to Red Eyes Fusion where the restriction is its own line on the card, so even if you negate the summon, the restriction isn't touched.

...Red-Eyes is basically a beta test for other archetypes lol

edit: though...come to think of it...would negating REF with something like Contrast Hero Chaos, or Crusadia Equimax, relieve you of the restriction? It negates "effects", plural, as opposed to Ash Blossom negating "that" effect. Hmmmmmm

The UR stuff like storm imperm drnm are all optional and more staple going 2nd stuff. The only real staple URs of the deck are 3 Lu Fengs and 3 Double Dragon Lords. And I imagine you have the SR dust for 3 Pot of Extravs lol
