Man, I want these 4*'s (especially Yanfei cons since I actually use her) but not Scaramouche and already have Itto. What even do.

Are Itto cons any good? If not, I'd just pull Scara for collection purposes, and you never know, you may find yourself wanting him for his flight sometimes.

I know people say not to pull for 4* if you don't want the 5* but I personally feel wanting all 3 of the 4* would be an exception, right?

Happy maintenance day! I'm looking forward to this one, a fun interlude and finally... TCG!!! And our last breather patch before we're thrown into another huge chunk of Sumeru lol.

Did daily stuff and parked outside of Shakkei Pavilion, where I'll pull for Scara. Did a "special spot" for Childe and thought it was more fun to do than just sitting in Mondstadt or whatever.

Well, I've saved up 75 fates. Let's hope I can win the 50:50. Fortunately, I'm already on full 50 so there's a decent chance of might hit a second 5-star by the end of the banner.

I had great luck with Nahida (Nahida + C1 + Weapon) with the fates I saved up from 3.0

Still undecided on whether I wanna get Scaramouche. Guess I'll wait and see how Alhaitham is

First pull was Tighnari breaking 50/50. Was pretty happy since I really wanted him. After that it took 80 more pulls to get Scara, have 4k left. But then he arrived twice in the same pull so he's C1 now lol.

Also got Collei to C4, Faruzan C1, Yanfei C2 and Gorou C2.

But C4 seems like it might be good, 40% anemo res reduction. But Anemo doesnt do much damage by itself, its mostly just swirl

Is scaras weapon any good? Its hard to get attack speed, But his C1 also provides it so I wonder if he will be like an anemo aerial yomiya

Also, Dottore is so damn fucked up, jesus lol. There's no way this guy isn't ethically the bottom of the barrel within the Harbingers. I feel so bad for Scara.

Having done the interlude, 1) I'm much more amiable toward Scara being playable now, and 2) fuck Dottore so much.

I had 30 summons left so I risked going for his weapon. Got it in 20 pulls + 2 of those wave spears or whatever. Im seriously lacking in good times/books so this is huge. Hopefully scara is top tier

i know she isn't popular, but i think xinyan is a good overlooked pair for scara. easy pyro infusion for his skill and you get a shield

Admittedly I haven't played him for that long, but The Mooch seems sort of like a cross between Childe and Kazuha. It's clear that his infusions and on-field enabling are the primary source of DPS.

Yeah he does seem like it. Been pretty fun but I haven't used him properly. I brain farted and forgot to farm the robot parts, and I want to farm that new anemo set for him anyway. I was kind of lowkey hoping I could slot him into a team with Childe so I could have two harbingers at once but alas.

Yeah, the sad part is they have zero synergy since they basically do the same thing in the same way.

But I can't see a scenario where Mooch generates more overall team DPS than Childe. Childe is just that good. And I'm not saying that from a "I'm a Childe fangirl" standpoint. He really is just that good.

It's weird that after two years Childe is still the single most misunderstood character in the game.

Id prefer it assign Scaras infusions based on party comp than what the skill picks up when used, but hes still solid as a dps. My talents are only 3/3/3, though with my Heizous solar pearl and artifacts hes hitting for 6-7k a hit just on his own.

Agreed. Heizou is pretty great, especially for a four star.

I threw some wishes at this banner trying to get a Faruzan to pair with him, but I got two Gorous instead. fuck.

At least I managed a couple of Yanfei cons, though. Klee-lite is pretty fun to play as well.

I prefer Yanfei to Klee. Her animations are smoother and flow better while her attacks have more range. Pair her with Raiden and laugh as everythings juggled with the overloads.

I have been saying this since she came out, and I've had Klee since the beginning.

Yanfei (with constellations) Is just better in most situations.

The 4-star with the highest on-field Main DPS ceiling by far is Noelle. She can actually out DPS most of the five stars, but the problem is she requires a truly insane amount of investment.

Noelles a damn one man army. DPS, shields, heals, and enough defense to face tank just about anything that doesnt stunlock or insta kill.

Her DPS ceiling is completely insane because of the way her scaling works. The problem is it requires basically perfect investment, which is really hard to achieve.

If she could generate her own energy, she would unironically be one of the best DPS in the game.

Finished the new Archon quest, it was pretty enjoyable. I really dig Scara's backstory a lot, though I'm still a bit confused why Katsuragi died. Nagamasa was getting blamed for it all after Niwa poofed and Katsuragi asked to be executed, so I guess he wanted to take responsibility and everyone just...went along with it? Dunno lol

The voice at the end is intriguing, I wonder what's up with that. And maybe I missed it during one of the events, but is Scaramouche the first time we actually see someone receiving a vision? What a special guy.

I just want to point out that I'm actually really impressed that they have shown so much restraint regarding power creep. If anything, the older characters are slightly better, or at least on par.
