Why would Biden reform the landmark legislation of the previous Democratic president that is generally well-liked, especially considering he was a part of the administration that passed it? What you're saying is a tacit admission that Obamacare isn't good, but you want to use that to support your argument that Obama has been better than Biden on health care. It makes no fucking sense.

to be fair the idea behind obamacare WAS good and its why certain parts of it have persisted for so long. the issue was the rest of it was so vehemently fought against by republicans that he had to make concessions. i dont think that says anything about how good or bad either biden or obama were, it moreso highlights how fucking terrible republicans are in every aspect

so in other words lets just agree to hate republicans instead of fighting amongst each other

I really can't imagine making a multi-post argument on that subject, but yeah I probably did ask for evidence for a claim that she was paid by Russia. I happen to think that it's important to have evidence for one's claims, even and especially when those claims are ideologically convenient.

When you start treating a request for evidence as inherently suspect, it's easy to find oneself in some silly positions.

To be clear, I think MTG's politics are noxious, and she's probably in the running for worst member of congress, a race more competitive than her district will ever see. But a specific claim that someone is being paid by Russia is deserving of scrutiny.

I think I know what you are trying to say? Because I believe Obama did good with Obamacare, you expect me to believe in order for Biden to be a better president, he'd have to improve Obamacare? Is that what you're trying to say? Because if so, that's one of the dumbest things I've ever heard. That's like for you to say "In order for you to believe Biden to be a better president than John Adams, you'd have him build something better than the Bill of Rights. That's a tacit admission you think the Bill of Rights is bad!".

I just think he's one of those posters who rushes into a topic in an attempt to appear as the smartest person in the room, while simultaneously being lazy and not reading anything else but the newest posts he cherry picks to engage with. It's a common issue with CE and the internet as a whole these days.

I'm not a liberal. I don't think Obama was a very good president. Biden is pretty clearly better by any metric. I'd say we do disagree on an ideological basis, but he's having an extraordinarily difficult time understanding a very simple argument.
