Sultan was low effort because of champs. I agree that that's likely. Fd and wallz were both very present and had a big d1 presence. So as scum, why did Dumey prefer a Sultan lynch?
I propose:

Wallz is scum, and dumey did not want to bus his mate that hard on day 1 if there was a perfectly good train going on an unclaimed town.
He knew i was adamantly against fd in a way that i was not against Sultan and there weren't many other people around, besides the people on the chopping block. So if he went after fd, i would likely stay on wallz. In that scenario, it's likely that fd votes wallz and wallz votes fd, bringing us to a d1 tiebreaker with scum on the line. Not a fun time for them.
Therefore, voting Sultan was the only avenue for Dumey to secure wallz' safety.

Yeah, Dumey wanted to lynch town, so either FD or Wall is scum. Could be either of them who is. Dumey bussing FD to frame Wall is entirely possible as well.

Also, Wall: I don't know why people think I'm scum because SBell didn't give a shit? My name is not Stu. My name is Andy. I am not the same person as him. If I'm scum, wouldn't I care more, seeing as I haven't been scum in a long time? Meanwhile, SBell has been scum as often as I've been town, so I can gather his disinterest.

If your scum on day 1 you think Sultan has built up a power with a no-talking restriction and would like to take him off the board.

Pretty much just left at "has the ability to move". Not sure what you mean by quirks. It's not a complex role, and doesn't specify exclusions or anything.

Red, would you care to comment on your end of day? You were in topic a couple hours before deadline. A couple of people asked you questions. You disappeared with your vote sitting on Sultan. You didn't say anything about it, either thinking about moving your vote, or asking people to vote Sultan, or anything relevant to the upcoming deadline. Then you weren't there at end of day and your vote was relevant in Sultan being in the position that he was an option still.

Yes, it is just about their role in general. Nothing specifying a specific time frame. Just the ability to do so.

If it makes you feel better (or worse!), Sultan's flip is the same way. Just whether his target has access to outside communication, not whether they're currently using it that night.

I mean at the end of the day scum will ALWAYS have the ability to do things and town will SOMETIMES have the ability to do things. In theory it could be useful to know, right?

Doesn't specify, but I would have guessed that if there was a one-time use ability already used on a previous night, I would still be told that their role had the ability to move. Just my assumption though. Not specified.

also roleblock and roletheft (assuming it's just for one night and not permanent) i think wouldn't be relevant at all. Because again, it's about the identity of their role, not whether they acted or could act on that specific night. Think of it like a role scanner more than an action scanner.

I mean, some sort of permanent loss of role feels like it would be relevant to your role.

I agree with fd. I don't want to totally trash today and maybe that kills momentum or maybe it gives abacus, mzero, and ctes more of an opportunity to catch up and voice something.

And dumey, you're right, i have given far more thought to you being scum than you being town. I don't really want to expend the mental energy on that possibility until I'm faced with your flip, frankly. And if you're DeathGodfather then well, more power to you. Kudos.

I've had a pretty rough evening and I don't expect to be around at deadline tomorrow, but I will try to be present throughout the day unless it ends early. I don't know what the votals are but I know dumey is at a lot.

I truly dont get why Im the hot pick to be scum. In the past I havent been annoyed, ever, because whether town or scum, there were valid things people picked up on or questioned. Most of this game its literally just due to people being lazy and me being one of the more active participants.

If I were scum I would have posted half as much and blended in with half the damn player list.

And participation is a fair concern in general, I just don't think it's useful in a game like this where you got a role pm months after signing up.

No, peaf and Chang have been wrongly fixated on me being scum since before that. And I gave a few reasons why Dumeys actions dont matter. The likeliest explanation is FD is town as well, and d1 lynch was all town, hence the low vote counts. Plum said as much, which I find funny because I think plum is probably scum.

Dont think I ever mentioned why, but if I recall correctly plum has made zero reads, mostly just banging the no lynch drum d1, making comments like I hate mafia players and chiming in to comment on things like abacus account being closed but not commenting at all on the game itself.

Ctes, you dont find anything noteworthy about BCTs very atypical behavior? That coupled with his very slow start to the game has me convinced hes scum. He is being calmer cooler and collected about being suspected because he cant fake the genuine frustration he has when hes town.

And mzero has popped in once or twice but not commented on the game. Im surprised you would call that fine.

I know I haven't (well I just did a little) but I also straight up wouldn't have signed up with the start date we got since I would have said I was completely unavailable day 1 and in general is pretty busy the next weeks as well.

Not sure you are, but you might be the first I'd take a closer look at, you and Abacus. If Dumey was vigshot this instant I'd probably start looking closer at you both with that flip in mind (which in his case wouldn't take many minutes). That'll be tomorrow though, one of us dies or flips and claims changes the picture.

For me the sbell flip is what sold it, but Dumey's actions are a nice bonus.

I'll tell you what, Wallz. If dumey flips town then I'll lay off you for all of day 3 (unless you have a guilty scan).

I think Im playing well and clearly in my town style of play. If Im right about BCT that will be nailing two scum while working with table scraps. Of course this town is probably not coordinated or present enough to do anything about it.

"Fine" should be read as "I currently see no reason to call them scum nor town." Not that no one in that group looked better than others. In MZero's case I just have nothing.

As for BCT, I didn't say there was nothing noteworthy, that's not the same thing either. I can elaborate on why he falls in that middle ish group. I feel like he was town for so many games in a row and everytime I keep thinking "this has got to be faked behavior" to a certain degree. At some point it has got to change. People say he's an easy read often but I have never had a scum game with him before. I also don't think he was pressured much this game. I can't currently say something one way or the other about him.

Peaf Im not asking you to lay off me (even though it would benefit your play assuming youre town). Im asking you to start building a view of this game that dont work off the assumption of me being scum.
