Please explain how Dumey's role is impacted in any way by a separate town vig. Red, you do the same. The way I read it was that he had immunity when submitting the kill, but not at other points of the night phase. It didn't strike me as "he gets immunity because he murdered somebody" but rather "he gets immunity when he's murdering somebody." So he could make a night kill but be killed after it.

There are no non-scum killing roles, aside from Red (Wallz has also claimed such, at a very convenient time). But there has to be a reason why Dumey could avoid being shot, and that reason is almost definitely Red. Otherwise Dumey's ability to avoid getting killed at night when killing is irrelevant, and doesn't need to be in the game.

It's worth being healthily paranoid here. I will say that Scum are definitely against Wallz, or at least won't openly advocate for him. He is dead to rights. I'm going to come at this from a different angle:

If I have a double vote, do you agree it confirms me Town today? Else I would have simply coordinated with the rest of the scumteam and hammered - this is a guaranteed win. I don't mind if you disbelieve me, but if I have that doublevote, I have no need to bus.

Why is this important?

I believe everyone has posted, so the scumteam would have to be legendarily bad at coordination if you are part of them.

Because BCT doesn't fully believe me and is clearly still worried about my alignment. Nobody else really needs convincing that I'm town.

the lack of everyone really having conviction definitely makes me nervous and i aggravated myself by looking at the numbers game without yesterdays fiasco.

I mean, Death never sounds like he has conviction but he seems pretty sold. I am on the same page as you with solving, we have three scum remaining, and then it's just BCT left to convince.

I'm going to vote in a few hours, before bed. When are you going, Death, so I can vote before you do? I'm not keeping this game going for weeks. At the end of the day it is just going to be trusting that BCT makes the correct choices. Going to emphasise again, that is Wallz, Ctes and Ulti as the scum team.

I would also wager it is only a 2 man scumteam left, but I could be wrong.

I kid of course. For me the sunday vibes and Wallz being doomed is a sleepy combination.

I went back to look back at his posts in part to see if there was even a chance he hinted at his role, but outside of that one post I quoted (which is pretty open-ended anyway) I found nothing.

Did see him going after BCT a lot, which makes BCT look even better.

FD poured his heart and soul into trying to talk everyone out of his mislynch and his efforts were in vain. I dont mean this as harshly as it sounds but Im not casting my pearls before swine here. Clearly Im getting mislynched. I just want to leave my two cents because Im not sure I care to hang around for postgame.

This community throws the word confirmed around far too loosely. As town we should be double checking and questioning ourselves are we sure theres no other explanation, are we really positive about something not taking knee jerk reactions and holding onto them as gospel truth for an entire game. We should not read posts from some players and not posts from others. We should also not take one unknown as absolute truth and build our entire view of the game around it.

If you have ever heard of the experiment of the rat who could press a button to orgasm, and so he pressed the button repeatedly until he died, I feel like some players here are the rat, and latching onto one little thing and assigning it meaning is pressing the button. You do it until you die. An old boss described some people as often wrong, never uncertain. I dont think anyone here is never uncertain but the sentiment remains.

There are enough people left alive acting in a less than winning fashion. They cant all be scum. Dont care that Ive played about 10 games and some of you have played 10+ years, clearly a simple lesson to be learned here.

Good game scum. Some good individual play here, in some cases tbd. To those who have solved my being scum, I leave you to resume standing around in the Star Wars trash compactor sniffing your own farts.

That sounds very underpowered to me, no matter how crazy scum roles are. What makes you think that?

Like at this point I cant believe Sheep is on a 3man scumteam, I dont see how anyone besides Red could have killed Sbell

The only question mark for me remains BCT then, since if he is scum Sheep would be the only nilla.
But a town with only 2 nillas also feels weird.

I mean, I do think it's worth considering all possibilities here. If I wasn't very comfortable reading both Red and Death and their roles backed that up I would be considering it a lot more. As things stand, the evidence in their favour is far too great and if I get the numbers game horribly wrong so be it, I've been wrong before and I definitely will again, and this was a game I replaced into specifically so that it would continue to run, not because I had the time to play up to my own standards.

Anyway, BCT, I am not 100% certain on: I think it'd take something crazy for him to be Scum, but the possibilities are slim. I'll ask you now: who do you think is scum out of BCT, Death, and Red. And why? I can't promise I will agree but I'll certainly listen to anything you have to say.

At first I thought abacus/Isquen slot was almost definitely scum due to abacus first post. In my post you quoted I had just realized that me and abacus/Isquen would make a lot more sense as protection than me and say, a standard doctor role. The game set up perspective was the first thing to make me seriously think abaquen could be town

Nope. Just been tired. I definitely will skim and its out of necessity more often than not. And it is not player specific. Like, people put a LOT of time into mafia. I don't have the willingness to invest that time into the game. Its a game for fun, I click into here when I want fun. I'm not here to make it a job. When you guys get all angry grumpy red its mostly just a persona, but its -fun-. You'll get me posting a lot because I've made it fun for myself to kind of just let loose for a bit. But its a game, I'm not flinging personal insults at people. Everything is in context.

If its somehow two scum remaining which does seem a bit too uneven, easily you and ctes are my picks. Ctes is my strongest scum read remaining.

Of those three, I guess Id go with death only because BCT being roleblocked as a claimed vanilla with abacus/Isquen still alive made no sense. But that doesnt feel totally right either.

Like, people think I can be a strong personality or whatever. I can. But I'm naturally an introvert, a big one. Most of the time mafia is this big scary place where I know absolutely nothing and have to interact with people on a subject that is nothing but uncomfortable. It is nice to be able to break that once in awhile.

I would lynch ctes today. I am best at reading people Ive been scum with before and he was my scummate last game in ulti mafia.

Best way to tell on ctes is what he chooses to comment on and his post style. As scum he tends to be analytical and ask less direct questions of people. This game his posts are more observations and not really making definitive statements.

Assuming im right and we live to see another day, from there Id try to better understand what happened with BCT being roleblocked. To me it probably suggests one of them being scum, unless theres somehow only one scum left after ctes, provided ctes is scum. Then I think its sheep.

IGCD was claimed power.
Death gave BCT a self-bus.
BCT bussed IGCD.
Roleblock attempt on IGCD went to BCT.

??? is something missing.

I do believe your logic. It's just that the way you've worded your arguments is making me paranoid. There are two possibilities here: Either you're 100% confirmed town... or we only have two scum left, in which case a double vote won't win it for scum. This is where I think my paranoia comes from.

But you need to actually throw something out there that the rest of us are missing. Give us evidence. You can't just say that myself (I'm town), Ctes, and Red are the remaining scum without actually going back and corroborating it.

If I had evidence Id be sharing it. I am feeling 80-90% certain about ctes being scum, and less clear after that, but sheep feels scummy today.

I apologize. Ironic I was giving red a hard time about not reading. It doesnt give me a pass but I did read every post, I just didnt come away with the right conclusion. Me and my family have been very sick for close to a week now and the brain fog is real. Sorry again. I can be better too

Ok, then this isnt reason for death and BCT to be concerns. Wallz is town. Ulti seems to be town. Ctes, almost definitely scum. Sheep cant be scum with three scum remaining. Red has to be town unless he killed sbell in a crazy scum gambit. No one besides me and peaf were even looking at sbell.

4 scum in an 18 player game seems mighty low but pretty sure thats what we had for sbells Star Trek, and one of them (Han) was a traitor role so the others thought they were 3/18.

Current guess. Ctes + sheep. Sheeps heavy focus on wanting BCTs buy in and if you re-read this thread, lots of posts about wanting to lynch me early on. I think sheep was eager to get the next mislynch off before anyone stopped and thought long enough to reconsider my alignment which is a worst case scenario for scum.

Sheep is also very adamant about red being town and wanting to lynch ctes after me which gives me some mixed feelings but we know for sure ctes, sheep and red arent scum together due to the double vote. Ctes also commented on a couple of sheeps recent posts giving bad vibes which my guess is its bussing

Red, if you had to lynch either ctes or sheep which one would you pick and why?
