I can't do crunches. So I was thinking about getting on of those wheels and trying to work on my abs with those.

Dips but hold your legs up

These win by virtue of being exercises that are focused on training other things but coincidentally train your abs too.

Crunches hurt my neck. So I can do them, but they seem to damage by body.

I'm interested too because I feel I'm too fat for crunches. Probably from too many crunch bars. Seriously though I always feel like I'm doing them wrong

Guys, lay flat on your back, put your palms against the floor under your butt. Keep your legs straight and lift them about 10 inches, hold for a while. Life another 8 to 12 inches, hold for a while. Go back to first height. Repeat until you feel like your abs are burning more than you can tolerate. Try this once or twice a day.

In the military, they have the FTB for heavy/overweight enlistees to prep before boot camp because they have too much weight. The ones who can't do crunches do these instead.

Like is there a limit for people to join the military. I tried to join after I was out of college for a while and couldn't find a job. I was fat at that point. And like check the size of my neck and waste was like we can't help you.

Also I am going try that too. I am losing weight curling, but i need to make sure the abs rock. So when I take off my shirt the lady will go wild/

When I joined, they tape your torso and you have to be within a certain amount of measurement to be able to join. Once you get past that point, day one of basic training isn't actually boot camp yet, it's inprocessing and a lot of medical stuff. To qualify for basic training, you need to run a mile in I believe it was 12:30 or less, be able to do 10 push ups and 5 sit ups. If you can't accomplish one or all of these, you go to FTB for weight loss training until you can pass that initial PT test.

Thanks, if my torso wasn't so big, I guess they would have signed me up since back then I could do all of that. Heck today I could do other stuff. I wonder what my life would have been like. I know guess they would up be in support since have really poor eye sight. I should have went to the coast guard. But at the time I didn't know how to swim LOL.
