Where did you hear that Korea bans Jpop? And why did you believe it? Even now it is somewhat difficult for Japanese media to go from 0 to 100 in Korea but stuff that has any cultural heft (Pokemon, Nintendo, Shohei Ohtani, One Piece, etc) gets just as popular in Korea as anywhere else. Jpop is just globally pretty weak right now anyway. Who is even popular these days?

It's a thing Nintendo has been doing for a long time. Both the NES and SNES had redesigned versions that came out after their successor consoles were already out.
Redesigns are a totally different thing. A customer might not be 10000% sure of every difference between a DS and a DSi but they're buying essentially the same product that will play the same games. The Wii to WiiU handoff was famously (possibly to the point it was overstated) a total disaster because they seemed pretty similar and were not compatible products at all.

Possibly gauging interest in another game but also it was probably a relatively easy/inexpensive training project for the team. All of these already-in-HD-and-patched-for-current-consoles remakes are basically training projects.

Its not 1996 and a name like Switch 2 is not a Wii / WiiU situation. Having the older console on the market is not going to confuse anyone. Nintendo definitely learned their lesson, which is why the name Switch 2 sucks but is unmistakable as a new and different system.

This is also standard policy for Nintendo. It just so happens that older consoles tended to be unwanted relatively quickly. It was very easy for them to stop selling the WiiU. The 3DS however was sold for a long-ass time because it had no direct replacement and people liked it.

Citizen Kane is such a funny relic that's stuck around. I mean, if you care about how modern movies exist it does have a lot to offer and people should watch it. But a modern "movie guy" has absolutely no need to see it and most people that like movies have never watched it. Its like how the floppy disk is the save icon and a great deal of computer users these days are too young to have ever even seen one in real life (or at all).

In conclusion, Final Fantasy VII is a very good game. Even in the original PS1 version with no mods or anything its a worthwhile play. Although, it is probably not very expensive to buy on Steam or you could find some edited ROMs that clean up the translation and fix some bugs and stuff if you want a cleaner experience.

People saying FF8 are insane, lol. Its like saying your favourite obscure movie is Donnie Darko. I think more people talk shit about it these days in FF discussions but it is very popular.

I like Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers a good deal. Its more obscure than disliked but it has a mediocre (but not awful) Metacritic score for the 3DS version.

Armored Core: Last Raven is one of my favourite videogames and it has an embarrassing 59 on Metacritic. The game is well-liked but also sort of feared among AC oldheads since its ball-bustingly hard. If you play it without importing data (as most critics probably did) you're fucked unless you know exactly what you're doing and are very good at the game. Because of that a lot of people don't feel the need to build up to playing it.

They make shitloads of money despite being awful. Jurassic Park is a well-known and respected name but its also not held to such a specific standard as something like Star Wars that horrible nonsense movies like Jurassic World 3 could knock it into trash limbo. Dinosaurs are also eternally cool to kids and the brand attracts big enough stars that the movies pass as blockbusters. I honestly wonder how bad these would have to get before audiences complain or how many have to flood the market before people get exhausted.

The sloppily done stuff can be bad but there's so much good that foreign aid does that those blights are worth it if the choice is "Keep it all or eliminate it all". And it is also a pittance in the US budget to do all it does. Idiots that think the US spends trillions in taxes to prop up the entire world economy and cutting USAID will give them a huge tax refund are in for a rude awakening (that awakening being forgetting they ever had an opinion on USAID at all, continuing to think the US should do less even after stopping all programs, seeing no local difference to their lives while things worsen globally, and unknowingly aiding the advent of future major global disasters).

Like the movie still has Bond silliness in it of course but the idea of a media mogul working with a government figure to take over a country isn't hard to believe considering what Fox does these days.
No...you definitely have to have borderline terminal levels of brain rot to make that leap in logic. Rich people that own media outlets typically cozy up to power structures in corrupt countries because they want to keep their money and influence stuff but something along the lines of an Australian plutocrat and a Chinese military figure knocking over the government of Costa Rica (for example) is blithering nonsense. Unless you water down the definition of "take over" to something like how Russia gives lots of money to the weirdo political fringe in Estonia so their elections are more annoying there's no case at all for what you're describing.

And what "hardware" was Murdoch supposedly getting from China? What does hardware even mean to someone like him? You're making it sound like Fox media has a secret stash of chemical weapons.

God help whoever the lone FF13 voter is. That game is dogshit. I'd rather play literally any other FF than touch that garbage ever again.

I do sort of feel that cutting off the PS2 ones is sort of arbitrary since they've got HD remakes and play as pretty modern games but fine, 12 is nearly 20 years old so whatever. Either way, that leaves a pretty weird list. Its crazy that Final Fantasy has been so lost for so long. Square-Enix tried so hard to make 13 into a thing but no matter how many people say 13-2 is good I will never believe them because of how bad vanilla 13 is.

Rambling aside, 15 is probably the best game I've played on that list. I think I'll probably like 16 equally or a bit more but I did mostly like dicking around with hunts and stuff in 15 (which is also why I like 12).

You shouldn't use blurry pictures. Its probably fine to have one picture where you're smiling in the camera or whatever but only one. You could also do one looking off camera with a neutral expression (don't smile at something off camera though, it looks weird). Ideally your other pictures should be of you doing stuff and taken by other people/by a timer. Pet pictures are fine but some people see men with cats as kinda wussy but maybe that's a sort of person you'd rather weed out.

Everyone else is whining about how men are disadvantaged in online dating and that's not really true. If you're looking to line up 5+ chicks for 1st date bangs a week then, yeah you're not in the 1% that can swing that. If you're just looking for some matches that might turn into dates then you should be fine. Its been quite a while since I was using Tinder but as an average looking not particularly tall guy I was able to get what I wanted out of it at the time. You shouldn't get 0 matches ever as long as your pictures aren't blurry and repetitive.
