She didn't ask for anything and we both treated each other with gifts, food, etc. Love is so beautiful, especially when it's true. I've always liked this holiday, single or otherwise. Though, I haven't celebrated on the day with a girlfriend yet. This year it was on the weekend and she's getting flowers today. I mean, first impressions say a lot. It takes an adult to realize that everybody is the same/different. I try to think of myself as an ambassador when I'm not in my home city, cause it's hard not to judge someone based on region when it's apparent. I have a joke at work about new Yorkers being rude jerks, and when a customer is rude, I'll ask where they are from when they have an accent and chuckle when they're from new York.
