I'm always torn on this stuff.
Labels don't matter to me much, same with gender roles and stuff. So, I think we should remove terms like mail man and keep it as mail carrier, but it shouldn't be offensive to anyone to be called a man or woman unless the person is trying to force a label onto someone they see as less than.
When I'm called a ma'am or something, I usually just play it off cause I like girls. It's almost a compliment and rarely meant offensively. Most people who try to label others are obvious asses and not worth my time.

That seems so stressful to think of someone over 20 being the same as someone 16. It's like a double edged sword of not being responsible for much while still wanting the freedoms other adults earn.

I had someone point out that life kinda blends as you get older, but if you look back in 5 year segments you should notice some change.
If you're not happy and you don't notice change over time in your life, then something should change.

I personally hope to have a house or some more permanent form of residence in about 5 years along with being married.

Finally made the update since turbotax stopped supporting windows 7, plus my computer needed upgrading in the process.
I personally would have stuck with windows xp 64-bit if I could. Windows 7 grew on me, but I still missed the functionality of xp.

So, to my question. What is improved with windows 10? My boot time is pretty good, but that's kind of expected when the computer is wiped off everything basically.
I noticed with cell phones that updates seem to make me struggle to find "advanced" settings and windows 10 seems to be doing the same thing, along with a really fat start menu and a really small "desktop" button in the corner.

I guess I just wanna be hyped but I'm not feeling it. It feels like bloat ware that maybe basic computer users might enjoy. The security settings seem to be more about windows telling you to use Microsoft products rather than actual settings.

TL,dnr; what's even better with this windows?

Basically, we just gotta babysit her cause management doesn't do anything about it. You never know if she'll be messing something up cause she's dumb, messing something up cause she's lazy or trying to cover up something she messed up with a lie. It's exhausting.
She claims she gets embarassed and that's why she lies. It shows she puts no effort into improving herself though, just her own image.

Best of luck my dude. Hopefully life corrects the balance for everyone.

Some chefs can get to chef status without school, but it's not very common.

Without a doubt though, food service customers can be awful people. You're serving people who think they know food yet can't make it and complain while being extremely ignorant. Feels like some people forget meat comes from an animal and that some food takes more than a minute in the microwave to cook.

Mexican street food is what I'd say my area in Arizona is known for. The tacos and burritos are so good...so good! The meat is always juicy, the tortillas are fresh, and everything is usually at a pretty decent price. It makes chipotle look like wanna be over priced food and taco bell just looks like crap except for any impulsive fast food cravings.
There are rarely arguments over who is best cause there is just so much good food.
Come October, there's a local food festival that shows off everyone's local cuisine that is top notch!

That tells me my body doesn't want to process it and most likely wants it out of my body. That may not go for everything, but if it's zero calories, it better be a vegetable or something.
I certainly don't trust marketing to sell me something and inform me that it's healthy.

It's bad for you. There just needs to be a lot of science behind decisions for it be a fact. Think how long it took cigarettes to be seen as they are; it was basically until the 90s.

The long term effects are probably only starting to be seen.
Only coke is saying it's diet and implying that means it is healthier for you. I doubt a doctor would ever tell you to drink diet coke to be more healthy unless you are drinking something even less healthy than that to begin with.

Diet coke succeeded in flavor cause it wasn't trying to completely copy the original taste; that's why we have coke zero.
Coke went with the fad of "sugar bad" and based a soda upon the flavor of their "diet" sugar.

The older I get, and the more I realize I am not gonna be there for 'em because of my own life, and neither will the other younger family members, the scarier being old and alone-ish seems. They're all married but childless, and that ship has sailed for them outside of adoption. They're okay for now, but in 15-20 years? They're probably gonna have a bad time.

Why do you think this? I am not going to have kids and I see myself having a brighter future because of it. I want them but my girlfriend doesn't and I'd rather not at this point. Kids are...monsters

I eat something different every day...

Most big meals take like less than an hour to make. If you factor in travel time and wait for food at a restaurant, you're not saving much time at all.

Waiting in a drive thru for coffee is easy. It's much quicker to make your own though, literally less than 10 minutes start to finish. I doubt anyone can start their car, drive to a coffee shop and place that order in under 5 minutes.
Burgers take like 10 minutes as well, about 4 minutes a side.

I get it from a Kroger store, fry's, usually under $2/pound cause I plan it. I buy a few pounds when it's on sale and use a pound at a time.

For like less than 5 dollars, you can make 4 bomb quarter pound burgers. I mean, that's paying $2.50/pound for meat and $2.50 for buns, which is like average non sale price.
Fast food should be purely for convenience, not standard meals. Idk when the change happened, but it's not good at all how much cheap garbage food people eat just cause it's "easy". Factor in price and health, it really is expensive all around in place of very little planning.

My two cents on people's lack of meal planning. I understand I'm basically in the minority these days not having fast food weekly. I have it like a half dozen times a year, usually something with my family during visits.

How do you rank your fun during your down time?

I enjoy TV, gaming, movies, reading and more. I can easily say that as much as I enjoy music, it's real low on my list of priorities to keep up with since I'm really content with what I listen to.

I love gaming, but I'm constantly outclassed by people who keep up with it and spend all their money on it and play everything. I generally retro game at this point.

I enjoy reading but I'm really slow at it so avid readers really out number how many books they read.

It feels like when it comes to TV (and movies), that's where I seem to really put my time compared to others. I may not be up on things that are popular, but I have watched a ton of it. I can really talk about games and know what I'm talking about, but when it comes to television, I've probably watched a lot of what I'm talking about personally.
It makes me realize that's how I prioritize my entertainment.

So yeah, when it comes down to it, what's your favorite form of entertainment?
I love gaming, but it's just so easy for me to enjoy some TV.
