Thanks for the information!
I mean, the stations I am missing are there and I think getting a stronger one will help with that.
I'm not much in a crowded city anymore, so I just really want the signal improved and get the stations that are at the 50 mile range.
I know the station distances from the many sites online that help locate and position the antenna.

Any recommendations?
I've bought a few for backup purposes throughout life and now I'm looking for an upgrade as it's my main form of TV.
I've usually spent up to 50 bucks, about that much on my recent one that has about a 50 mile range.

I'm seeing 200 mile ones on Ebay for like ten bucks. Anyone have experience with those? I have a couple channels at the 50 mile range I don't get, but like 2 or 3; I think anything above 75 will cover me.

I love hot dogs but can also get down on some tender tri-tip. For varying reasons, I like both.

Also, I worked with a chef who made some of the most moist and tender meat, and would pick up a frozen pizza or box of mac n cheese for himself at home.

While I like most movies stated, they're mostly all books first, some better though in certain areas.

Honestly, I'm struggling to think of any. Maybe cause the best movies aren't original...

Being John Malkovich
Blazing Saddles
The Matrix

I have a feeling those are all books, but I haven't read them yet.

Interesting comic. It implies we pay nothing for it but that's how much people take taxes for granted. When properly utilized, taxes are such an affordable way to pay for things.
I personally find myself buying books more but still support my library. I have happily paid fines since it does support the library instead of donating food or something.
I did though just buy a bunch of books from my library, so idk if that supports libraries or businesses stemming from them.

Sports games usually. Depending on how much I wanna chill is how I will decide.
Games like hockey and soccer offer little breaks but are great at distracting, just like football and baseball but those offer many more breaks between pitches, plays, turnovers, etc.

Tony Hawk 4 and mirrors edge are so great but I need to repair my ps3s power supply before using it again.

How do you people deal with that?

There are times I want to game and just be by my girlfriend, but she's so uninterested. I'm sure if I wasn't so much into retro gaming it would be more entertaining, but I am not much into modern games.
Because of this, she can even find them annoying cause I'll be replaying old arcade stuff over and over for records or the music is repetative.

When she's busy, it's all great cause she doesn't even notice unless I cheer or something.
Anybody have work arounds to this?

Makes me enjoy when she's got homework or a project and all I wanna do is game. Then the times she's not busy, it just feels selfish to want to game cause she's not into it.

Mind you, I've pulled out so many types of games for us to play, but she dislikes learning controls.

TopicCurrent gen consoles all have glaring issues with analogue sticks.
pedro45
11/10/18 3:28:55 PM
#7
They all have their strengths and weaknesses. My older controllers will sometimes just wear down and buttons don't make contact. Some have gotten sticky and it stays that way cause of shape and stuff. Then I have controllers where the analog will spin.

To be more specific, I have a Saturn 2d controller where a trigger doesn't always react, same with my ds lite. On my dreamcast and Saturn 3d controller, both have triggers where they got a little sticky, but won't completely clean. They work perfectly, but the first push might crunch. My ps3 controller, well at least 2 of them, have analog tops that spin from use.

So, some of it is preventable, others is just accidents I can't recover from, but spanning 3 generations of controllers.

My day off is when I'll consider breakfast, and usually it's bacon or something "special'' to me to make it worth it. Then that's when I eat whatever through out the day except dinner. My day off is when my girlfriend and I have our dinner together.
