Sheamus/Ryder AJ/Gail Haas/Dibiase Husky (winner gets an immediate title shot) IC Title: Cody (c) Cara Taker Barrett BONUS (2 pts.): What's the MotN? Taker/Carlito
You literally think TNA only has 3 wrestlers on the top 100 man I'm insulted
Anyway with that edwards officially wins
The answers were:
TNA won Female Wrestler of the Year: Daffney at 77 overall. (this was because I gave her a lot of dark/b-show matches against skilled wrestlers to buff her stats <_<... of course, you couldn't realistically expect to know that but to expect TNA to get female wrestler of the year isn't too out there and also when you consider my fanboyism and why I'd want something mentioned, well...)
TNA's top rated guy was Sting at 13 (I have a feeling it'd be Kurt Angle but he only had 4 matches in 2011 and you need 5 minimum. Sad) followed by RVD at 14 and AJ Styles at 17.
So yeah edwards has 10 + ranking bonuses and maniac has 10 + ranking bonuses and GTM has 5 + ranking bonuses and ed's rankings are clearly much closer than maniac's so he takes it.
Random other fun facts:
GTM's guess of Bobby Roode wasn't too out there. He ranked at 40 and as the 7th TNA wrestler to appear overall behind those 3, Bully Ray, Jeff Hardy, and Austin Aries. Robbie E ranked at 87 Glacier ranked 96
Top 10 was:
1. Keiji Mutoh 2. Randy Orton 3. Yuji Nagata 4. CM Punk 5. Koji Kanemoto 6. Mark Henry 7. Yoshihiro Takayama 8. Toshiaki Kawada 9. Hiroyoshi Tenzan 10. Satoshi Kojima
I'll hammer out the actual prize when I post my next show which will probably be later tonight. If edwards wins again I might give a consolation prize out next time... but... stay tuned. <_<
-- No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love!
If you really knew how SWERVE worked you'd get last place next round. Cause, well, you know.
Also we're TNA dammit.
Next CHALLENGE~ shall have a new prize option or two (I need storylines to progress for the prize option to work out) but we just went with the general assortment this time.

Pre-show: Usos d. Cara II/Young (64); Cara comes out and POINTS but Cara II pats him on the shoulder and leaves (55); Brodus d. Zeke (63)
-Awesome Truth are in the ring to brag about their big win last night. Rock comes out and congratulates them on impressing him, but he's still got an eye on them. The entire locker room hates them, so he's just going to see what happens for now. Awesome Truth remind Rock that they're awesome. Rating: 92
-Match: Sheamus and Ryder v. Christian and Chavo The spirit of Teddybooking lives on in this match. It's an intense fight, with Christian actually coming out on top. Rating: 73
-WAY BARRA comes out while everybody's still in the ring, and reveals that Christian is the one who put him up to putting Sheamus t'rew a tayble! Christian thinks Sheamus needs to be put in his place, and figured Barrett might be able to get it t'rew the Celtic Warrior's skull. Rating: 90
-Match: AJ and Gail v. Rosa and Tamina Faces pick up a commanding win. Rating: 49
-Cody is out to remind us that he successfully retained last week against Yoshi. He's still on a mission to restore the credibility of the IC title, and so he's seeking stronger competition. He can think of none better than his former mentor, Randy Orton. Cody knows he can beat him, and he will. Rating: 75
-Match: Harts v. Haas/Dibiase The Harts have the upper hand when Natalya comes down to the ring to scream at them. This ultimately leads to a Haas victory. Rating: 58
-Henry's out in the same fashion as last week. THIS time, he knows who's fighting! The winner will get a title shot, and hopefully it will go smoother than when that ape Khali won last time. Rating: 75
-Match: Yoshi v. Husky Yoshi fights valiantly against the big man, picking up an eventual win. Rating: 54
-Henry gets in the ring and "congratulates" Yoshi with some backhand compliments. He praises Yoshi as about the only good thing to come out of Japan, and wonders if Yoshi is Japan's Strongest Man because he's less tiny than the rest of 'em. After a bit more racism, Yoshi is provoked into slapping Henry! Henry sells for a moment, but this seems to be what he wanted. He goes to town on Yoshi, batting him around and hitting the WSS! The bell hasn't even rung yet! KHALI comes out to make the save! Henry rolls out of the ring for a chair, but when he attacks, Khali catches it and wrests it from the champ's hands! Henry decides that discretion is the better part of valor, and beats a tactical retreat. Rating: 76
-IC Title: Cody (c) v. Orton Pretty intense match that spills outside of the ring....and stays there for a ten count. Rating: 78
-Match: Cara v. Mordecai Mordecai actually gets the upper hand for a bit, but blows it when he tries to preach to the audience mid-match. Rating: 61
-Taker is in the ring. He despises Awesome Truth. They are the epitome of this generation of superstar: they have NO respect for those around them, especially their elders. Even the elders that could destroy them. They're trying to make an example of Smackdown, but he's going to make an example of THEM to show all these kids what happens when you don't respect your betters. Taker vows that soon, Awesome Truth will Rest In Peace. Rating: 85
-Match: Taker v. Carlito ...That said, Taker's getting old enough that some of the mystique is wearing off. Carlito actually looks quite competitive here. Taker comes out on top in the end, but it's a better fight than one would expect. Rating: 90 (!)
-Awesome Truth are out to the ring after the match! They taunt Taker for a sec, and then doubleteam him! DANIEL BRYAN charges out to make the save and clear the ring! Rating: 88

-Match: Show v. Barrett In a decidedly odd choice of ME, Barrett shows quite a bit of guts in taking down the World's Largest Athlete. Rating: 80
-Sheamus runs down and takes Barrett out...and puts him t'rew a tayble! Rating: 79
Post-show: Rock/Bryan d. Awesome Truth (71)
Overall: 77 FAILURE lol angles
FROM THE BOOKERMAN:
-....Holy crap, I am quite surprised by Taker/Carlito. I figured Taker can still go, but I bumped it down to sub-ME because I didn't think Carlito was enough of a draw to hold up his end. I was a foooooooool D:
-I really couldn't figure out a good ME, though. The opener needed to come before Show/Barrett for storyline purposes, Taker was stuck with a midcarder, and Show/Barrett....is Show/Barrett. They did better than I had feared, but man, could've had a significantly better show flipping the last two matches :\
-I am pretty disappointed with Yoshi/Husky, as I was kinda hoping to have them be IC division mainstays once I could figure out a way to get Cody moved on to bigger and better things.
-On a related note, pretty happy with Cody/Orton. They both need something to do right now, and Orton recently dropped to UMC somehow, so it works out pretty well. Unless Cody gets too over for the belt, but that's a nice problem to have.
NEWSWIRE
-Xplosion continues the sudden dropoff in TNA quality, only scoring a 50. Even Flair and Hogan couldn't save a lackluster card that concluded with a forgettable 6-man tag.
-Leavine may have retained the FCW title yet again, but Low-Ki carried him to a halfway decent match, and indeed carried the whole show.
-RoH have decided to bulk up their women's division. Instead of turning to SHIMMER, they have signed on Melina and Jillian.
-Following a successful Backstreet Battle (in which Leavine once again retained, this time over Watson), FCW have risen to Regional!
-Venis appears to be fitting in at RoH somehow, picking up a win over Benjamin in the most recent ME. Joining him soon will be Rob Conway.
-AJPW put on a surprisingly unimpressive show today, with Suwama retaining over Akebono in the ME.
-They redeemed themselves with Get to the Gold, in which The Great Muta and Masakatsu Funaki went over Akebono and Kea to win the World's Strongest Tag League for the second consecutive time.
-RoH Final Battle did quite well. Richards retained over Homicide and the Hart Foundation 2.0 became the new tag champs by going over the All Night Express, but the showstealer was Rob Conway's debut- a great match with Yang.
-RoH continue to grow, picking up Paul London.
-It looks like Jigsaw is on his way out of CHIKARA after his contract was not renewed.
-CHIKARA Reality is Relative did well, despite a slightly underwhelming Quack/Kingston ME.
-We polled our readers, and they voted the best color commentator to be....DUSTY RHODES. A concurrent poll proclaimed the best PBP guy to be MICHAEL COLE. We are currently looking into these trolling incidents.

Bonus tripped up a lot of folks, and there were a few coinflips along the way as well as the non-finish. Another huge show for War. Can anybody stop him? Dante crumbles and Maniac surges into second, but does it matter?

Pre-show: Beth and Melissa squabble (60); Slater and Gabriel bicker until HHH gives them a triple threat US Title shot to shut them up (72); Del Rio d. Primo to retain, still missing the belt from last week (84)
-The belt-less champion Del Rio is in the ring to start the show, and he demands Kane return the belt he stole last week! He's the rightful champion, and it's his DESTINY~ to wear the belt with pride! Kane comes out on the stage to laugh at him, hoisting the belt in the air. He informs Del Rio that he can come take it if he wants it! Del Rio is obviously torn between his desire for the gold and his self-preservation instinct. He demands that somebody do something, and HHH comes out. HHH doesn't really think he wants to make Kane do anything he doesn't want to, and besides, this is pretty funny. That said, he does have to uphold the legitimacy of the championship....so Del Rio and Kane will meet in a Ladder match for the title (and belt) at TLC! Rating: 98
-Match: Dreamer v. JTG oh hey JTG still works here. He's also still a jobber. Rating: 61
-Match: Sheffield squashed Curtis Rating: 52
-Punk complains that his buddies are still being held down by HHH's personal vendetta, but look, they seized the opportunity they got, and captured the tag titles! It'll be the first of many championships for the group, and tonight, Punk is going to dominate the main event. Rating: 76
-Tag Titles: Nash/X-Pac (c) v. Santino and Parka Santino and Parka don't get SQUASHED, but they aren't extraordinarily close to winning, either. Jacknife puts Santino down for the count. Rating: 58
-ZigSwag and Vickie are out to the ring. Vickie laughs at Air Boom for losing the tag titles so easily, Ziggler pooh-poohs his upcoming defense against Slater and Gabriel, and Swagger is so good he's going to win this match even with a different partner! Rating: 80
-Match: Ryan and Riley v. Swagger and AAE Estrrrrrrada barely even needs to show up, as Swagger is in fine form. Rating: 66
-Otungacutty are out to talk about their recent face turn. They realized one night that they were JERKS, and nobody likes jerks! They think people like Reks and Hawkins need to relax and get back to the basics of entertaining THE WWE UNIVERSE, and not get so uptight about making statements and dominating competition. Rating: 65
-Match: Otungacutty/AJ v. Reks/Hawkins/Beth The face turn seems to have injected new life into Otungacutty as they go over. Rating: 59
-COLT CABANA makes an appearance to talk about the nWo. He considers Punk his best friend, and is excited to get an opportunity to work with him, especially on NXT, but he's still not feeling this whole nWo thing. He hopes Punk understands. Punk comes out to verify he understands that Cabana is an ungrateful schmuck. He says that Colt could've had it all, but now he's chosen to throw it all away. He regrets Colt's decision, but now it's time to show him why it was the wrong one. Rating: 76
-Match: Cabana and Kelly v. Masters and Serena The faces fight valiantly, but are just plain outmatched here. Rating: 70
-US Title Match: Ziggler (c) v. Gabriel v. Slater All three men get their spots. Ziggles has the match about won when Air Boom come out to ringside! He pays them no mind until they start hassling Vickie and Swagger, and then he slides out of the ring to argue with them! Things are about to come to blow-ROLLUP ON GABRIEL! 1! 2! 3!! Slater steals the win and the US Title! Ziggler can't believe he was tricked! Gabriel can't believe he fell prey to the ROLLUP! Slater can't believe it's not FWA! Rating: 73
-Air Boom grab mics to inform ZigSwag that they were just repaying them for interfering with the tag title match last week. Now they're even! Problem? Rating: 69
-Match: Morrison and Kane v. Cena and Punk Ferocious match, with Morrison and Cena particularly bent on mutual destruction and Kane particularly strong. Cena and Punk aren't exactly the most cohesive tag unit in WWE history, but aren't experiencing major clashes either. Del Rio decides that this is his big chance to reclaim the physical championship belt, and because he's Del Rio, decides to do so by driving out to ringside mid-match. As a result, Kane notices him and cuts him off. Del Rio tries to retreat, but Kane catches him and tosses him around ringside for a bit! Unfortunately, Kane's too engrossed with punishing the champ to be concerned with the match, which means Morrison's facing a very difficult doubleteam. Morrison can't handle it himself, and Punk picks up the win. Rating: 97(!)
-Kane's still whupping up on Del Rio at ringside. The champ escapes into the ring, where the winners are still celebrating. Kane follows, but Cena and Punk decide to jump him! Kane is able to fend them off, but Del Rio is able to escape to the ramp during the commotion. Kane laughs and taunts Del Rio with the belt. Rating: 86
Post-show: Del Rio and Kane talk at each other (97); Air Boom d. Drew/Raven (43)
Overall: 81 SUCCESS lol angles
FROM THE BOOKERMAN
-....Man, "Del Rio v. Random Midcarder for the title" seems to be really awesome. I don't know how that keeps getting such great numbers, as Del Rio's not THAT over and the midcarders certainly aren't either.
-Holy CABOOSES that ME. o_o I mean, that's four of our very top guys in one match, but still, it's weird having throwaway RANDOM TAG MATCH ME's get such high scores.
-Really gotta figure out a way to rejuvenate Raw's midcard. It SUCKS. Hopefully the Slater train will at least jazz up the booking a bit. Ziggler needs to move on to bigger and better things anyway.
I don't have quite long enough to tally, but for now
PREDICT IT! NXT Wk. 3, 12/11
Woods/Bryan v. Abe/Chavo Cabana v. Williams Dutt v. Edwards Show/Dreamer v. Punk/Slater Rollins/His pro v. Daivari/Barrett BONUS (2 pts.): Who's Rollins' new pro?
Pretty easy show, I guess, although I'm surprised that people had JTG or Curtis winning at all. No love for Slater :( War slips a bit, but this is still in danger of becoming a fight for second place....a very close one. Maniac slips badly after his comeback, and Gr8 vaults into second. eddv....I dunno man :\
Tom if you want to do more updates yet not get bottlenecked as much as far as forward progress goes I'd suggest not having predictions for every card. Limit it to your A shows or something. At 4 shows a week of game time you're going to continue going at a trudging pace even if everyone gets their predictions in asap.
-- No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love!
But yeah, predicting NXT seems a bit silly anyway. I might do that next cycle, although honestly I'm not doing that great keeping a buffer going anyway. All I have that's not posted is SD, although I'm about halfway through booking next Raw.
NXT Wk. 3, 12/11
Pre-show: Haas/Dibiase d. Otungacutty (65); Santino works the crowd (74); X-Pac d. Cara via Cara II (59)
-Chavo continues to chastise Abe. Abe is just here to have fun and make some jokes, mannnn. Chavo finds this unacceptable and warns him not to screw up their tag match. Rating: 53
-Match: Woods/Bryan v. Abe/Chavo ...Surprisingly, he doesn't. He's still goofy, but he's able to hold his own against Woods, as is Chavo against Bryan. The heels actually pick up a win. Rating: 62
-Match: Cabana v. Cap'n Petey Colt comes out with Punk, but Punk is obviously pissed. It becomes more obvious when he hits the GTS on Colt mid-match and walks out, giving Williams the win! Rating: 15
-Match: Dutt v. Edwards Mordecai does not care for La Parka's ringside shenanigans at all, and eventually a scuffle erupts. Mordecai eats a CHAIR to the face! Edwards is distraught by the violence committed against his beloved Pro....but once he gets over it, it's like a switch is flipped. With nobody around to bark ineffectual orders at him, Edwards reverts back to his previous self, and since his previous self is KINDA a former RoH champ, this is actually better for him. A fairly open match turns into an Edwards win. Rating: 19 Edwards/Mordecai poor chem I like how this only happens to pairings for which I have long-term plans it's awesome
-Rollins is out to introduce his new Pro! He found somebody who is as serious and committed as he is...RANDY ORTON! Orton comes out and simply gives a nod. Rating: 60
-Match: Show and Dreamer v. Punk and Slater The former Pros just don't have their stuff together. Punk, who may at this point count as a former Pro himself, picks up the win. Rating: 77
-A disconsolate Show is shown in the locker room. He's joined on a bench by a beat-up Cabana. Bromance is in the air~ Rating: 53
-Match: Rollins/Orton v. Daivari/Barrett Another chapter in the endless saga of Rollins and Daivari. It's the face side's turn, and Rollins and his new Pro cruise to a win. Rating: 63
Post-show: Orton blathers on (89); Yoshi/Parka d. AAE/Mordecai (36)
Overall: 65 Parka overused
FROM THE BOOKERMAN
-Williams got caught with steroids. Awesome. Seems to be responding well to a warning, though!
-SO MUCH Pro/Rookie shuffling. I don't like it, except for Colt/Punk which was vaguely planned from the start, but hopefully it should help everybody's chances of actually getting over.
-...which is taking SO LONG ugh. I would like ALL of these guys to make viable additions to the roster but I'll be lucky to get a single solid midcarder out of the bunch, at this rate.
-I guess I oughta start some eliminations at some point.
-Even I am getting tired of Rollins/Daivari. I should wrap that up somehow, but the endless series of rematch variations keeps on working really well for their storylines!
