I feel like the WWE video games purposely create unnecessary scarcity to try and mimic real life. Like, they could easily have ALL the best attitude-era guys in the game and create an amazing dream storyline. But that's not very realistic. Having just some of them is. You know?

Some interesting notes from a Dixie Carter media conference call:

*Carter doesn't believe they need to do 12 PPVs a year and they are currently negotiating contracts on the PPV end.

Awesome, I agree 100%

*Carter said that their follow-ups weren't always great in the past, noting the Samoa Joe kidnapping and the Jackie Gayda blackmail tapes. She noted that some would say it was just wrestling and it didn't matter but they needed their attention to detail to be better. Carter said a big goal is to be consistent and have a long story arc and a story bible that will hold them accountable. She said if something has slipped through the cracks lately, it's the exception and not the rule.

I can not bold that enough. That should be the BACKBONE to any production with ongoing storylines. Consistency and logic alone won't draw in fans, but it goes a long way towards KEEPING fans.

Andy Leavine AKA Silent Rage tells all!

On the news of his release from WWE and why it happened: "To be honest, man, I wish I knew the whole story of why I was released. It was one of those things where (John) Laurinaitus called me up and told me I wasn't progressing enough down there at FCW. So, they released me to go out on the independent scene and gain a little experience. ... Yeah (I was released over the phone)."

On what reason he was given for his release: "To be honest with you, for whatever reason, FCW wasn't a good fit for me. I was born and raised in Tampa and it just wasn't a good environment for me. I was only wrestling maybe once every two or three weeks. When you're breaking into something, that's no way to learn. Kind of struggling and whatnot. To be honest with you, I think it was the best thing for me.

On what he plans on doing now that he's been released: "Just go out there and work, man -- have matches. It's the only way you get better at something. Back when I played football, the only way you learned is getting your ass on the fire. That's what I intend to do.

"I've been in contact with a couple of different promotions -- UCW and CPR in Puerto Rico. So, I think I'm going to be heading down to Puerto Rico on the 14th of July. Hopefully, I'll get a chance to work and earn my grit.

On the people he's heard from since his release: "I've heard from Matt from Tough Enough. He gave me a bit of encouragement. He was a really cool guy on the show and he's a cool dude in real life. I heard from a couple of guys from WWE developmental. I talked to Bill DeMott and he encouraged me to keep at it. He said that a lot of people out there liked me, but they want me to go out and get a little more experience.

I'm not sure why Andy Leavine claims he was only wrestling only every few weeks when they constantly do smaller events and shows for FCW. Not only that, you get tons of practice at the actual arena. I'm not sure what he's talking about here. At least WWE realized what I did and saw that he was not improving even the slightest at all.

I have no inherent dream of booking WWE, just "booking professional wrestling." I would accept the TNA job without hesitation if they asked. They're one of like 6 companies in the world who actually have full-time bookers that aren't the owners or one of the wrestlers.

As far as Orton's suspension goes, I do think they'd fire him if he tested positive again, but I also think that BY SOME MIRACLE he'll never actually fail another test.

Remember what happened to Rey? Their tests are "random" but they're also the ones DOING the tests. It's not some outside agency.

I think it's easier to erase the paper trail of letting him know in advance when the tests are than it would be to erase the paper trail of covering up positive tests or mandating that he not be tested.
