Fira strike? If you're doing poverty you'd be better off using Sora's BSB. Usually with magicite you "Mega Man" through them (unless you get an uber relic for an element.) where you fight them again for more magicite and level it up, so Fenrir should be next.

The best magicite from Sealion is Wendigo since it boosts magic and ice damage and the summon is an imperil. Try and get 4 of them

If you're going to use Tyro make him use ninja magic or bard skills, he's pretty much useless otherwise.

It was more that I thought Sora would use his USB and AoSB and that would be it, like maybe he'd get one more attack so Fira strike chase....

How do you even survive 20 seconds?

I beat him without protect and I use mage, his physical attacks aren't that bad. You're only RW choice is wall is anyway.

This is true for Fenrir... but I mean all of them.

Just not have Protect/Shell? (And I thought as you beat more of them more RW unlocked for Elara besides just Wall)

You do get more choices for Elara but that only after you beat all 8 of the 3* (the VoF clone) and 4* (a full heal) Sealion's magic attacks are stronger and he does imperils so I'd put shellga on your white mage for sure. You can manage without protect though.

If you're in a hurry to use the keystones just beat Sealion 4 more times. You can refine your run and you'll want to get your magicites to level 99.

Honestly if you just wanna beat Magicites, I find 2 WHM is a great strat

Aeris and Rosa with their USB's were on all my teams initial runs.

Onion Knight with pUSB also on every team

then i use a combo of Shantotto CSB, Lightning USB, Orlandu USB/OSB, Bartz spellblade spam for other ones.

Refia USB/BSB for one of them.

Faris sometimes.

I already had another LMR for her. Really makes me wish I had her USB now. She sounds like she could dish out some sick damage with that. Besides, I've always loved the Holy spell, and I find the idea of an offensive white mage interesting.

I actually did this a few nights ago too ironically.

And I went and finally favorited all the much mores for attacks and elements.

What are the 5 best RMs for farming, when you just want to hit auto and go?

I know one of the obvious ones is the insta attack. What else works best? If anyone has ever tried to do that.

I use the EXP ones for leveling. Otherwise just whatever for random auto attack.

What is the order on Significant/Much/Moderate etc? I wish it just gave %

I can vault a few more if i know which are lower, but its not super clear

Much more>significantly>moderately>small>very small.

There is a sixth one I saw a few days ago while going through them and honestly I can't tell if it's bigger than small, smaller than small but bigger than very small, or smaller than very small. Can't rememberer wording right now.

Also, all of my characters are at 99/80. I don't need to level them up.

I just want the fastest acting attack RMs.

Much (30% or 40% depending on weapon/element or ability type) > significant (20%) > slight (10%)

The ones that boost attack/mag/etc I don't know offhand but they generally shouldn't be used anyway

Slight is the one I was missing....

Is slight chance less or greater than small and or very small chance?

Slight/Small don't have any distinction and it's always 20% (Blood of the Summoner Garnet RM) or 15% (Forbidden Arts II Healer's Prayer II Monastic Teachings and Witch's Sight-- basically all the dualcast white/black that aren't Red Mage's Secrets since that's only 13%) or 13% (everything else).

Very Small is 8%.

You'll have to level up your Magicite now that you have them though.

Also looks like Type-0 Gilgamesh has a damage reduction like Ozma instead of just really high defenses like Shinryu Celestia so ninja magic wasn't effective against him (he resists Wind and Fire anyway) And he's supposed to be the Apocalypse for this event, great...

I don't think so. I'm mostly pointing out how capping most of his characters was probably a "bite you in the ass moment" since you have to grind your magicite in the daily dungeon once you run out of Arcana (or do the tonberries event now but that is tedious as hell)

When (and on what) should I use arcana?

And I leveled them all (except the cores) naturally. So it was either that or just not run exp dailies and waste my Sundays.

Do we get Knight and Warrior next month?

The ones with imperils, Enkidu, Unicorn and blinks are still useful once you get into 4* magicites. The other ones are more gravy but will become obsolete when you get 4* upgrades of them.

If I need major lightning orbs (honing assault sabre for beatrix zzz) is it better to go for the 80 or 100 stamina power up dungeon. I always thought that getting crystals was a 'bad' thing in these cases but I may have missed something.

I will let you know what my greater count is in a moment. I think I don't have very many as over the last month I've been honing a lot of other things.

Torment Bahamut 300 can drop 3 major Lightning orbs where if you use a drop viewer like Kreeper or Kompanion where you can just flee until it shows lighting orbs, which is better and more consistent than daily dungeons which are all RNG.

Crystals are super useful for 6* skills, that said a lot of the current ones are dated or just plain suck but Meltdown, Valigarmanda, Snowspellstrike, Mug Bloodlust and Curada are still super useful. There's also going to be new 6* skills in the future when the torments update.

Unfortunately for me I have not even tried 300 content yet... actually maybe I really need to get on the ball of trying to figure that out, I probably have the pieces after a few months of getting random things and learning a lot of tricks. I just haven't really been progressing much and moreso enjoying getting pretty items and building my beautiful Tidus up. For reference Tidus is literally the only person I've dived completely so far.

What do you think would be a good team comp to do a 300 battle?

I have all of them r2 or 3 there.... except 1. Whats so good about mug bloodlust

Mug Bloodlust helps Vaan reach the physical cap and the extra defense is pretty sweet as well. That's probably more for USB users though. I wouldn't hone it through since breaks are mostly useless in high level content.

So I think I need to start tackling the Magicites now. What's a good general party composition? I assume for starters to use a Chain if I have it (I got fire, water, and wind) and a instaheal SB (which would be Rosa for me). Also I heard Edge is good even if you only have his Last Stand SSB

Sealion and Liquid Flame are good starting points, Golem's pretty hard for physical though even with a chain since he a lot of anti-physical tricks up his sleeve, but still doable if you have the relics.

Yeah, if you have the 5* ninja Water abilities then Tidus, Edge, and Rosa can probably carry you through Liquid Flame. Add your best buffer and either a 3rd DPS or an entruster (only if you have something good for Tidus besides his chain), or a 2nd healer if you're having a lot of trouble.

100 Gemmed Rem's Overstrike

Seems pretty useful as equipment. Having a 6* Dagger that boosts Mind and Holy Damage seems like I'll use it pretty often considering everyone can equip daggers.

At least I can give Minfilia a non garbage mind stat once in a while.

Also Type 0 Synergy and I guess having a random Overstrike beats a blank for Type 0 stuff.

I think just doing it the traditional way with a team of Cloud + Zack + Whichever Third DPS you want + buffer + healer would do fine though with those relics.

4 am tonight my 5 free keystones disappear.

Which of those characters are dived? With what you have I think you can probably just run him over. He's harder for physical teams but not impossible. You definitely want Zack, after that I think Bartz and Zidane are your next best, especially if dived. Zidane's trance mode with Dash and Slash is outstanding. You need some way to get haste - if you have Edge's SSB you can use him with raging storm, otherwise a buffer (preferably one that's not redundant with the +50% attack on Zack's chain.)

You don't have to fight 5 different ones. It's normal to farm the same one until you get enough Magicite.
