One time I was at a game with my mom and brother. We were in standing room only for whatever reason. And a guy with his kids was leaving and gave us his tickets so we could get past the checker and sit 3 rows from the action. It was tight, except that the people sitting in that area were whispering about how we were just stealing their seats as soon as they got up. Fuckin rich people.

They check your tickets on the lower levels at Busch but I've gone down there without tickets in extra innings and no one checked.

Anyway congrats on the beer deal working out. That guy is risking a lot and doing a lot of work for not that much extra money

I was thinking about that too...The risk seems relatively low doing it once or twice, but if he does it on-going, there's a good chance he'll eventually get caught.

Assuming he steals the beer, if he does that 5 times a game, that's $100. That adds up for what I assume is a low paying job, but someone is going to notice the missing stuff or see him do it eventually.

What I'll say is, I used to work with someone who worked part time at Busch Stadium and it seems like the absolute worst job in the world. Horrible pay, horrible work and you never get a free ticket to a game. So if Target Field is similar then maybe the guy just doesn't care and is trying to cash out while he can.

I'd just be worried that you'd solicit a snitch too. He guessed right with you guys and probably most guys in their 20s would be fine guesses but we all know some people our age who are just shitheads who love to rat people out for some reason

I forget how they manage the lower levels at the Skydome. The only time I've been on the 100 levels, I was pretty drunk to be honest.

He has been interesting as of late. On the bright side, he's more self aware and aware of the world around him. I don't necessarily have any wishes for him either way, but am curious.

The Cardinals have this rookie reliever named Jordan Hicks who has great stuff and a really low ERA but he's got one of the highest walk rates and one of the lowest strikeout rates among all relievers, but because of the low ERA he just keeps getting more and more important innings so every time he comes in I'm just terrified that it's gonna crumble on him. Will it be today?

I was also imagining red solo cups of beer in the bathroom. Unopened cans are way better.

There's also ticket checkers in every section at AT&T, even the very worst seats at the top. It didn't used to be like that year ago and I can't think of a reason why they started it.

I never played the second one, but isn't it generally considered the best (of the Paper Marios, not necessarily the RPG Marios)?

I remember buying the third one not knowing it wasn't an RPG, and it became the rare game where I got substantially far (I think about a third of the way through) before just abandoning it. I kept waiting for the RPG elements to show up but eventually looked up some info on the game and realized it wasn't one. And I barely even like RPGs, but without that it's like a game where you do nothing.

Yeah, Super Paper Mario. It's impressively boring. I remember there were some boss fights and stuff but I can't tell you how the hell they worked, I wanna say it was just mashing through a bunch of dialogue. It's ostensibly a platformer but the platforming worked pretty much the same way as the original (besides the 3D plane shit), which is to say not really substantial enough to be a core game mechanic. And this game stars the platforming king! It's an insult.

I really liked the first two games, but that was the thing that I didn't like about them. It got to the point where I was just mashing through the dialogue not bothering to really read the text.

I don't know if any of you do much online or apps based dating but do all women all across the world love that Myers Briggs thing as much as they do in St. Louis? A girl just asked me why I didn't have mine in my profile and one time in person another one made me take it on her laptop to prove that she could predict what mine was going to be (she got 3/4 letters right)

Edit: not that it matters but I just remembered it was a different test on the laptop. She gave me Myers Briggs as homework

One thing I found kind of interesting about SMRPG is how detached it feels from the Mario universe compared to Paper Mario (and presumably the Mario and Luigi games). It's kind of weird, but not in a bad way. I think I still prefer PM for having a more Mario-ish feel... and the platforming sections. The SMRPG isometric view doesn't really hold up, and it makes for some awkward parts. But it's hard to say which one has better combat without playing PM again.

I agree on the isometric view being awkward. I also like the weird guys like Mallow and Croco showing up though. Like I said, it's not my all time favorite by any means but I do like it and it's the one I played for a little while when I was like 7 years old so that counts for something too.

Mario & Luigi definitely has better combat at least but I can't speak to PM either. M&L is more "normal" Mario stuff but it has a weird streak too. There's this whole race of bean people that are in like every game.

I'm interested in trying out the Mario & Luigi games, but I still don't really like playing portable stuff. A couple of them are on the Wii U eShop, at least... but it's Wii U.

The thing that I hate most about the Wii U is that with that huge controller, every time I hook it up it's like having to hook up two consoles at once. And then there's the sensor bar, which IIRC you have to hook up even if it's just to navigate the Wii mode menu to play a VC game.

The whole TF thing is annoying. First of all it has a lot of secret levels which I never got around to finding, I'd probably say too many of them. I'd kind of like to revisit it but IIRC to get the secret levels you either have to find all the KONG letters or find a secret exit near the end of a level. So basically what I'm saying is I might as well just start the whole game over, but it's stupid that the Switch version is $60. I got it new for $20 on Wii U
