So I'm cookie the rest of the way I think apart from having Tifa today. So I'm fairly sure I'd be eliminated if I actually entered my bracket into Guru (7 points ahead of cookie after today)

great performance by Sephiroth and Tifa won against Pokemon, MMX and now Luigi. She had the toughest opponents. FFVII isn't quite dead on gamefaqs it seems, really interested in seeing how Cloud does.

As a Seph fan I agree. Zelda either wins by like 51% or loses by 49%.

Sephiroth is projected to get as much on Shepard as Zelda is on Garrus. Sephiroth should be the stronger of the two.

Sephiroth and Cloud have so routinely been at the highest levels that I dont even count them, haha. These days, thoughMario over Sephiroth? 15 years later we can correct that 2003 result!

I could only imagine the carnage if Alucard somehow defeated Cloud. He probably already busted some points off people, but that would be so amusing to see. Sucks Luigi cant even win this match and he didnt really get to look good at all this time because his opponents before Tifa were all pretty weak. My only favorite left doesnt stand a chance against Sonic either. Oh well.

Man, Luigi just can't keep it under 700.

And most of that is FFVII.

I think Auron had a pretty easy path. Tifa and Aeris doing so well really speaks to how, even with the Nintendo boost and Square in the shitter, FFVII is still popular with the remaining user base here.

Well Nintendo is very broad so it's understandable
Final Fantasy is literally one series so it's harder to accept

Compare it to Zelda then. Zelda has 3/16 of the final 16 and has a far smaller cast than FF.

So.... does Ganondorf break 15% on Link? In 2004 he couldn't even do that....

Or atleast not straight down like how we got it. I'm not sure how EVO does it for their fighting game tournaments. I think it's inverse.

From my experience it switches every round - if you're at the top of the winner's bracket you'd be sent to the top of the loser's if you lose in round 1 and to the bottom if you lose in round 2.

Is Tifa getting rallied again? I could be wrong, but the vote totals seem a bit higher than they usually are at this time.
