I'm just really tired of Dumey projecting and trying to lure me into a trap. Like, could that be any more transparent? He's not listening to anything I'm explaining outside of my OMGUS parts - I'm actually justifying what scum is doing here by saying they're setting up me the bomb - and thy bus driver fits perfectly into that.

BCT, substantiate that I am "trying to push as many mislynches as possible." Because from my perspective, it looks like you are just saying "I am town and therefore Dumey is trying to mislynch me." This is OMGUS.

For example, Dumey is clear scum, and is trying to steer the lynch in the same manner as the last couple games.

I'm trying to figure out who could be scum with Dumey. That's what productive town does. Note how I discarded the JC/Dumey pairing after they had very different reactions to me admitting I messed up. I'm not a one-track mind here, though nothing will change my mind on Dumey.

It's all in the approach. The faked evidence from Dumey has gotten me to completely ignore anything he's saying, because I don't want scum manipulating me. His posts are of no value.

I have an extremely hard time believing Wesley, one of the only characters I know, is a vanilla. Especially given he's a hated piece of crap by everyone to the point where Wil Wheaton is still a joke name somehow. Like a male Miranda from Mass Effect 2.

... This is a terrible reason to vote someone Isquen. There is absolutely no reason to flavor meta like that. There is plenty of B8 precedent of having important characters be Vanilla.

That would be a not actively awful reason, but I don't like that it took you two tries to get to it, and I'd rather have you vote someone for having a reason to think he is scum rather than look for a bad excuse to jump on the current conversation.

Just like nobody listens to Wesley, nobody listens to me. This is why he's Vanilla Town, and I am too. Did you miss that part from a couple hours ago?

That said, Isquen not being able to keep track of how many Vanillas there are, even after we literally just discussed it, is interesting. Is this a town mistake or is it because he thought his scumbuddies had claimed Vanilla?

Please note that you can say all you want about me thinking Dumey had claimed Vanilla in a similar regard. I am fine with that. I welcome my lynch at this point even though I am 100% town and don't understand why people are grasping at straws for my lynch, but c'est le vie. I'll have to replace out after this game day anyway because vacation all I ever wanted, vacation have to get away...

That said, I don't think THREE scum go down my throat all at once. So maybe it's only two of Dumey, Sultan, and Isquen. Sultan could just be bad town again. Isquen could as well. Meaning Dumey is the most likely to be scum. My vote on him stands.

Also, replacing a second person this deep into PoE with no claim to save them is going to be super frustrating for anyone that is asked to replace. >_> But that's a bad reason to lynch someone.

I am Zefram Cochrane - Town Neighborizer

My role works a little bit different than the one I got two games ago. My neighborizer is not between two other players, I got to choose one person to open a communication with me for the rest of the game. Another small quirk is that I had to choose during the day, but the chat didn't open until N1, so I had to choose my neighbor during D1 before the lynch.

I neighbored Lea, and she will be able to confirm that we've been speaking since N1 and our chat is still open even now. I claimed to her immediately in the chat, so she can also confirm that. There's nothing particularly crazy that I want/feel the need to share from our chats, other than we had some very nice and friendly conversations! We made sure to give full reads of the game so that if one of us died we could share that info as a "Last Will" of sorts. I doubt anyone needs confirmation of Lea at the moment, but I feel like she interacted with me earnestly and honestly and I have no reason to think she's scum.

My reason for considering claiming D1 was for a couple reasons deep.
60% of the reason was simply because I thought it would be a fun way to start the game and generate early discussion, though we ended up having a very non-existent joke phase regardless.
10% was because the last couple games I had been the last to claim due to being scum, so I thought it might be fun to vary it up and be claimed early.
10% because of personal history. I rolled Neighborizer two games ago and chose Han as a target. Han claimed neighborizer last game to pull off his gambit with Ctes. I wanted so bad to neighbor Han and have that meme three games in a row, but I ultimately got a little paranoid/suspicious of Han before the end of the day, and I had to make the choice before he actually changed his vote to Chris at the end, so I went with Lea instead.
The last 20% was I thought since I only got to choose one target the entire game, it might be more interesting to have town discuss and give me a choice of who to target, and actually influence who I neighbored. Since because I can't neighbor anyone else, there's no way for Town to "test" me if I just chose someone myself.
The way the day turned out though, I decided to be impatient and use it right away rather than wait for D2, so I just went with my gut.

Also with the soft claim, I thought I could potentially draw a shot if I ended up not claiming, so I was playing it like a Vanilla soft claiming power to draw scum aggro. With Han so insistently saying I was Vanilla though, I think continuing to try that strategy is pretty dead in the water. But since my mindset was "Play it like a Vanilla baiting a scum shot, but get to leave my thoughts with whoever I neighbor," that's why I was confident in answering Ulti that Vanilla would be a role to soft claim, and believed Sheep when he took his soft-claim back.

I don't know if it really matters, but I also brought up the idea of independent D1 as well because I was curious if people thought 4+1 was a possible setup and my chances to hit scum was extra inflated. No one really took the bait though to say anything unnecessary about it, so I disregarded the idea.

I am probably gonna go play a game with a friend near the top of the hour, but I'll be around to answer any quick questions for a little bit.

It is perfectly reasonable for you to ask me to give my thoughts on the sheep mislynch but it literally boggles my mind to read you say I specifically looked the worst after sheep flipped town. Perhaps its less weird considering you obviously are mixed up on a detail or two, but I digress.

Sheep was pinging my scumdar for all of d1. But by the end of the day I had moved on. Then come d2, a lot of people I had town reads on started voting or suspecting sheep. Lea (and ulti once I saw no one countered his doctor claim) primarily, crescent and Han to a lesser degree. I actually defended sheep vs ulti and I was on jc early d2. Personally speaking I thought sheep did a mediocre job justifying keeping his vote on Han, and I agreed with the crowd that sheep calling the scan on crescent really bad didnt sit quite right. If you go back and re-read d2 (which no offense but based on you wrongly thinking I hammered, you probably should lol) youll see Lea calls sheep probable scum, crescent, Han and ulti all suspect sheep, and Im a little late coming back to that party.

Sheep himself admitted he didnt have a great d1, and a handful of veteran players said sheep was acting weird/different, too many for it to just be a scum narrative. Between people I believed to be town questioning Sheep based on past games I had no insight on and my own observations, I was comfortable going along with the sheep lynch which had already been started.

Im happy to give you more details if you want but I really think you should just try re-reading d2 unless you had different motives for asking me this. Im still a little puzzled by you making me the face of the sheep lynch for reasons(?), im sure. But hopefully this answers your question.

And at this point ulti is the most confirmed town in the game so if he says to claim, Ill support it. Not to mention it seems all town power is out in the open now and we lost our cop.

I am Mr. Boothby, Groundskeeper at Starfleet Academy and town vanilla. Ive seen maybe a couple eps of classic Star Trek and the first Abrams movie and I have never heard of Mr. Boothby lol. Or dont remember him at the very least. The flavor gives me the impression hes kind of the Star Trek worlds equivalent of boy meets worlds Mr. Feeny so thats cool.

This reads very nervous to me. Sure, I mixed up the name when I was going back and forth with BCT. But for you to bring up the idea that you don't think I read D2 very well like four times because I mixed up a name is a little bit condescending, don't you think? Why are you so nervous?
It sounds like you had no idea why Sheep was lynched, and just voted him because people you see as established town was voting him.
This is kind of a textbook bandwagon.
Wallz I'm not saying you're the "face" of the Sheep lynch. The reason (which I stated before as well) I think you look the worst on the Sheep lynch is because I think you just put yourself on that train and sat and let Town lynch itself.
