You are never going to be able to stop talk on politics and you can't even begin to claim to have "community boards" without some sort of political discussion.

All this entire episode did was remove a lightning rod for political discussion that kept it all relatively focused and diffused it elsewhere to make other boards worse.

It's really not. Besides being a preferred shitpost mountain, political discussion will never be as prevalent here as it was on 261. The admins know this, that's what they're counting on. Even if it did they'd make a "no politics on CE rule because fuck you that's why," simple as.

Don't overcomplicate this. Inconsistent moderation has been a defining feature of GFAQs, Fandom is just adding a little extra inconsistency of their own.

i love this video game message board so much

for me i come from a time when everyone was entitled to their own opinion but on that board that wasn't the case. when u went against the grain and even posted evidence u get modded. if this place follows suite then i guess it's a matter of time before it suffers the same fate.
