Waver can technically spook at any time, so I don't recommend him if you can get away with using someone like Helena instead.

Best bet is to pick a story-locked servant. Cu Alter is the big one, though Tesla is good as well.

The other story-locked servants, Medb, Artoria Lancer, Quetzacoatl, or Sitonai are good but mostly waifu picks. Though Medb just had a banner so you may have missed out. Sitonai gets banners a bit more frequently than the rest since she's an Illya and all.

...Oh right, there's also old Li Shuwen, but he's nothing to write home about.

Hmmm... Neowiz made a "new" game called Master of Knights. They just reused the characters from an older title, Kingdom of Heroes. The game doesn't look that bad, but I'm always hesitant to try games that just reuse assets, especially when the game isn't a big improvement. I mean if you can save all that time and money by not needing to make new characters, surely you can make the overall game better, right :<

Also Acacia Redacted is my favourite to use. Her dagger throwing is fun but I'm disappointed you can't do melee strikes with them. When I watched her trailer I thought that's what she would be able to do but it was misleading and I'm disappointed. And just the whole artwork with her holding the daggers and her animations and stuff.

Yeah I'm just a bit annoyed, they made a flashy animation of her slashing a few enemies in this trailer to top it off, but it just seems to be for flavouring and not representing gameplay. I dunno they could've let us melee with her.

One one hand, Im glad that this collab is finally here. On the other what the fucking hell is Smilegate thinking, releasing 8 limited characters within the span of 2 months? Since theyre overlapping the Re:Zero rerun with the later part of the GG one. You would think they would tread carefully after the huge outrage of the clearly P2W event thats going on right now, as the players made it clear that they are NOT happy.

I mean luckily Im only going for 3 of the 8 characters, as I already have Rem and dont care about Elena, and didnt want the current limited characters, so I can focus on Dizzy, Jack-O, and Elphelt.

Which game do you think had the best music for the in game stuff or its characters?

Personally, I've not played any gacha game that comes close to arknights, but I know several others put plenty of love into their games/characters music as well. ShiftUp for both Destiny Child and Nikke are pretty great, but not sure much stands out from the multitude of other gacha's I've played.

Are we counting songs with vocals or just instrumental music? Because if we're counting songs, I could probably gush about the songs in Revue Starlight ReLIVE all day. And that's not including rhythm games like BanG Dream and D4DJ, but those feel like cheating.

If we're not including songs with full vocals and only talking about instrumental stuff, then I'd probably just say Takt Op Symphony. I really like its selection of music pieces and how it weaves that music into the creation and personalities of the characters themselves.

Seconded. For nearly all of my favorite mobile game music tracks, Vanguard was right there.

Monster Siren Records is a close second to Vanguard Sound Studio in my book though.

So I heard some Snowbreak conversation, supposedly 5* Fritia wasn't very good... unless you have the 5* weapon for her. So my crazy gacha luck has resulted in a situation where wow, it turns out I get to do the rare situation in which 5* Fritia is actually op instead.

Just gear your entire equipments towards buffing the ultimate damage, and now her laser beam literally just burns through the mobs instantly and takes a good 25-30% chunk per usage off similar leveled bosses. Also costs like way less to use compared to other ultimates

Once I have her first limit break thing, I'm just gonna have a stupidly broken Fritia. Sadly it'll take forever but can't wait

Today, I learned that D4DJ Groovy Mix has a song by Mori Calliope (from Hololive EN) playable in the game. I also learned that whoever's job it is to screen the song lyrics before putting outside songs in this game really doesn't do a good job at screening English lyrics, because this aforementioned Calli song has a grand total of 5 fully uncensored F-bombs in it.

Any tips for the new mini game in Nikke? I barely reach grade C in it

Highest I can get is 10500, and the more time I spent at it, the worse I got. 12k is... probably doable, but it is taking an assload of practice and luck to even get close to consistent results.

Best I can say is memorize where each type of food is and try to prioritize clearing out the customers over getting everything on the grill first. Especially later in the game.

Went to a semi-charity special classical concert yesterday. A world famous Soprano Sumi Jo was playing. Normally she'd be too expensive to see, especially where I live, but there was a concert for cheap as a celebration for something or another

It relates to this cuz of Takt Op. She sang stuff from Die Fledermaus, which was a flirty and comical one. Also she sang Lascia Ch'io Pianga from Rinaldo by Handel. This is the one that I always think the lobby theme is gonna lead into, and it doesn't.

She also sings something that uses Twinkle Twinkle Little Star as a base. The theme in general is famous for being simplistic but its base can be used to pretty much layer on any level of complexity on it, and it'd be recognizable. I don't remember which one it was anymore. Ok nvm I found it. It was Ah! vous dirai-je, maman in the Bravura Variations from the opera Le torador.

It was pretty rad. Had my pinkies up acting all posh, even tho the tickets were basically like 10 bucks to the first responders

This took a few hours of practice, I don't recommend trying it.

I just knew it was eventually doable for me, so I went for it.

The weird thing is, I could've gotten three more skewers this run, but somehow screwed up on Bolt/Volt's all-meat skewers twice.

What do you get for playing the mini game? I tried it once and couldn't even cook one skewer, lol.

She did get nerfed a while back during beta, though I think the consensus was it made her damage more consistent in exchange for lowering the damage ceiling? Those changes have been known for about a month though. IMO, complaining about nerfs that happen during beta is kind of silly, unless they render the character completely unusable (which these don't).

If they're just talking about the light cone posted on social media, the CN version is the correct one, not the nerfed version that was accidentally posted on JP/EN sites.

I didn't quite clear everything, mainly because of procrastination, but I did manage to nab all of the pita to farm mats from the shop

Also got Raikou classic (I have her Summer version at NP4 because RNG couldn't get me the SSRs that I was chasing smh) and NP2 Jalter, which I have been after for a while, relatively speaking. In my pursuit of the latter, Jack's creepy but useful self also popped up.

Altogether, it was not a bad weekend on the banners.
