That's why I added the kinda and voiced. Female voiced but referred to as a he. Iirc Pascal's voice actress was a really famous Japanese one they wanted to add anyway, hence the weird reasoning for Pascal having a female VA.

Either way, they have Pascal but NO 9S? Sucks. But that's fine anyway, I suppose.

The demo for the GFL spin-off game, Reverse Collapse, is back up on Steam for one more week. I'm hoping the full version will be out within the next month or so.

After missing out on Summer BB for a second consecutive year, I think I'm done with banners for a few months. I'll go *hard* on the Skadi banner at the end the year and might throw something at Summer Nobu if she shows up for Guda Guda but I think I'm done for a bit after riding the Morgan, Koyanskaya, Oberon, and Merlin (finally got that bastard lol) trains.

Strangely enough, going after BB got me the one Moon Cancer from the general summon pool, Ganesha. Needless to say, I was NOT amused when the moon cancer card popped up and it was....her. Extra salt on that miss. Smh

I dipped into my anniversary SQ already, since I did a few rank-ups with nothing in my first 20 rolls to show for it.

Somehow got a full sweep in the next 10 singles.

Corday immediately showed up on the 21st, while Okitan and the 5* CE were at the halfway point.

And finally Anastasia on the 2x.

I'm a bit concerned with the second half as well, but I'll cross that bridge when we get to it, I guess. My next 50-day login is in three days, so there's that. Failing that, I have another 40 or so rank-ups left.

They also got the hacking mini-game, Emil's shop music, the music has the chaos language, it's honestly got a TON of work put into it. I love it.

Based on the numbers people have been posting, yes. She's a defender, but her damage is absurd. The higher her max HP, the more damage she does. Pair her with Mast, Noise, Rapunzel, or anyone else that buffs max HP and she'll be stacking damage for days.

A2 I'm a bit more worried about based on her kit. Pascal is...not even slightly great. But it's cool we got Pascal!

I'm surprised it lasted this long tbh. I don't think they have any global gachas active after this, unless there's plans to bring Assault Lily over.

Im also glad SINoALICE is shutting down. But just because of my petty hatred for it. I saw it was having a Nier collab so close to launch and I was so excited, but then I realized that I hated the gameplay, which hurt extra hard :<

And has anyone played Unknown Knights: Pixel RPG? Im trying it out, and it seems okay, but I cant see myself playing it if you cant reroll. Unless Im missing something, upon starting the game you have to sign in with Apple ID or Facebook. No guest account or a way to use salted emails. And I would normally be able to overlook this if they gave a decent amount of gems, but it seems like the output is kinda meh. Which is sort of a shame, because I like the characters, and the pixel art is cute. It looks just like Guardian Tales

I was wrong, you CAN reroll in Unknown Knights. But its a bit puzzling theres a button for account deletion, and yet it still says that the name of my previous account is taken. So Im going to have to change my name to some random thing before deleting the account and rerolling, because apparently deleting the account means that the name is still taken <_<

Personally, I do want male units, even if not Nikke's for 'lore' reasons. Even if no reason they wouldn't use male brains given how bad their situation was.

They had some fantastic husbando's in Destiny Child.

And not like 9S is a Nikke anyway, so he wouldn't contradict 'lore'

Jokes aside, Pascal is playable and is canonically a male. Plus, again, it's not like it would be necessary. Replace Pascal with 9S(and give 9S a max HP buff so he compliments 2B...) and you have an SR character that no one is gonna use that can be just fun to play for people that want him.

Could also make him hack enemies too for his attack, but that's beside the point.

I would rather take 9S over Pascal to be completely honest. Nevertheless, I got 2B with gems and tickets I got beforehand and this event.

Yeaaahhhh...they do that when the initial attempt doesn't work. They'll give the game a new name and bam, more advertising. You'll notice it especially with rip-off Pokmon or DBZ games that get their ads on YouTube. If you check out the name, it's usually like...entirely different from the name being advertised.

The AI generated pictures are a dead giveaway. Seriously, why do those folks use the same base for the images? If you're going down that route, then mix it up a little with the base you decide to use.

All I'm missing for 2B is Mast or Quency. Just got Jackal, and already had Noise.

The only real issue is my third burst. I'm using Modernia atm as a secondary 3rd burst but I feel like I might switch to A2 if I try for her. Not sure who else could benefit from being teamed with 2B besides those two.

After trying out four different rhythm mobile games now, I think I've finally come to realize why I keep gravitating back to D4DJ: Groovy Mix and not liking the other rhythm games I try nearly as much. It's far less less based on timing and luck, and more based on actually learning and mastering the game's unique mechanics.

BanG Dream, Project Sekai, and World Dai Star (the other 3 rhythm games I've tried, with WDS being the most recent) all have the standard tap/long/flick notes. ProSekai has wavy long notes as its unique thing, while WDS has flick notes within long notes that make the long notes move columns, which is pretty creative. D4DJ has those same standard tap/long/flick notes, but it also has the scratch and hold notes on the sides that change the timing of the other notes behind them, and it has the slider at the bottom (which is essentially just one big wavy long note) to manage as well. D4DJ has more different game mechanics you need to learn and manage at a time than any of the other games, but it balances out that difficulty by not requiring your timing on notes to be as strict as the other games. Most notably, it's the only one of the four games where hitting a "good" on a note doesn't break your combo.

With the other three games, my combo was ruined more often by slightly missing the timing on an ordinary tap note in a long string of them rather than messing up on any of the game's unique gameplay mechanics. I tried to full combo a certain song in WDS 50 times across last night and today. Almost every single time it was just one single "good" on one single tap note that kept me away, but I would miss that one single note in a different place in the song every time. I never felt like I was getting any closer the more I played the song. I felt like I was just praying for a single run where I got lucky, and it was frustrating.

But with D4DJ, when I mess up and lose my combo, I know what messed me up. It's never a timing issue, it's a mechanical issue. I know if it was a precariously placed flick or scratch note, a long note that I pushed with the wrong finger because there was a scratch note on the other side at the end, a certain spot where I need to be more careful with the slider, or whatever it may be. I recognize the trouble spots, I figure out what adjustments to make, and I can see the progress I make as I get closer to full comboing a difficult song. That makes me feel like my skill with the gameplay mechanics matters and is being rewarded, which I never felt with the other games I tried.

Sorry for the rant. But yeah, I uninstalled World Dai Star, and I'm probably never trying out another rhythm game again. If anyone else here has played any mobile rhythm games (including any of the ones I mentioned here) and feels like chiming in on my thoughts, feel free.

Guardian Tales world 17 was fucking amazing. Holy sht this was so hype.

Ah, yes, Galatea--wait what.

To this day, the only rhythm gacha I played was the Miku one. Was a fun experience, but rhythm games for me is like I sometimes get the whim to play it and I sometimes don't. So it became a slog when I had to just let the game play itself for a while.

After getting 2 Caenis I fully expected another disaster like with Charlotte. Got Sei shortly after.
