Recently saw an E7 thread about a former E7 WC winner quitting, cuz he had to remake game, and E7's dumb turn order RNG screwed him over when he had a more favorable RNG pre-remake

I saw a bunch of people defending E7 on it, which I realized like man people are just full-in on E7's RNG fest at this point. It gets so frustrating the higher tier you go, cuz you're dealing with the most RNG equipment system on top of it, on top of the 15% natural eff res that's impossible to play around.

At one point people who still stuck with E7 from ages ago need to realize they're as addicted to gambling but just before gambling their whole life away and thankfully at least contained within this unique gaming experience

Yeah I hate the RNG thats completely impossible to get around, like the fluctuating speed. Im kinda surprised they kept that in OUTERPLANE.

Despite the unavoidable RNG, I cant help but love that they have some of my favorite collab characters like Dizzy, Elphelt, Jack-O, Rem, and even some Kpop chick Winter lol

Yeah I think E7's sprite work is still up there amongst the best. But because I get so absorbed into it and get so stressed out about its RNG, I'll never play it again

Apparently she's still arts AOE meta and better than Spishtar, maybe even SIbuki, so there's that.

Blue Horizon gives slightly less NP charge than Ray Horizon, but it's not a one-time charge anymore and still has all the other broken effects.

Sounds like she'll be good, albeit plain and lacking the uniqueness of the original.

So yeah, after almost three full years of me not doing this, there's finally another game that I want to play badly enough that I downloaded it in Japanese because I'm convinced that it'll most likely never get an English release. That game is World Dai Star: Dream Stellarium.

I watched the World Dai Star anime earlier this year, it was fantastic (I know Spidey5 also watched it and can vouch for it being great) and I enjoyed it so much that I wanted to try the game. It came out a couple of weeks ago, but I only finally downloaded it and played it today. So far, I like it. It's a rhythm game that plays closest to Project Sekai, but instead of the curvy long notes that ProSekai has, it incorporates flick notes like D4DJ has, which is a pretty interesting combination. The music and visuals are great too, though I had to change some settings and turn down/off most of the extra visuals to get the game to run decently on my phone. Playing two different rhythm games (since I still have D4DJ installed and I play it too) might be tough to adjust to, and it'll suck not having the story to enjoy since it's in Japanese. But I mostly care about the gameplay when it comes to rhythm games anyways, so it's not as big of a deal with this one.

Also, it's funny that all four of the gacha games I'm playing now heavily revolve around music: two rhythm games (D4DJ and World Dai Star) and two turn-based battle games (Revue Starlight and Takt Op) where the characters and lore are heavily connected to music.

I'm ignoring that new paid banner in FGO, the chances of getting something I want are just way too low and the best results for me would be dupes.

Ended up pulling Merlin on the GSSR banner. I was not disappointed, as I've struck out on two previous banners. Shame he doesn't have any interludes though. While he is admittedly less of a priority now than when I previously tried (i.e., before Koyan of Light and Oberon were released), he was easily the one that I've wanted most of the 14 (out of 21) from the pool that I'd never pulled before.

Damn glad it's hunting week because I need pretty much all caster mats after recently raising a couple.

Lightning damage for planar sphere, attack for body and rope. Planar sphere is the only way to get elemental damage+, which makes it better to use when you can so you don't run into diminishing returns on attack.

As for DoT damage, the regular DoT caused by her follow-up/ult scales with damage+, but DoTs from breaking do not.

Well, shit. I haven't spent on it lately, but we did just get a third Taimanin collab (then again, maybe that's why this year's scenes were so tame).

Livestream ongoing with JP devs. They're mentioning plans for stuff like offline viewer (battles and events not possible, since they're server side, and there probably won't be voices due to contractual stuff). Ideas of releasing digital scenario up till completion of the main story (so people can experience the story), and digital CG collections floating around. Apparently this happened as a result of mergers between companies that owned MGCM Studio, and they decided the game wasn't profitable enough to keep around. They heard about it only 2 weeks ago.

Nier collaborations are death knells for gachas. They all loose steam and subsequently die after getting one.

Basically if your game gets a Nier or Persona 5 collaboration, start looking for a new game.

PGR got a Nier collab and theyre doing great. Hell, theyre about to have a Black Rock Shooter collab that looks sick. And Im still loving War of the Visions, which has both Nier and P5.

I actually try out games that I normally wouldnt if 2B is in them, like SINoALICE. I dont play it, but thats because the gameplay is ass. The games still alive though IIRC.

I think playing 3 gachas at once is a mistake though..but I'll see how I handle it
