Don't forget driving Rhea away by blaming her for things she tries to stop!
On that point I regret nothing! It's a lack of trust that got us into this mess in the first place.
From: Ayuyu | #002 It wouldn't be hard to resize it at all with Illustrator, anybody can do it.
As far as I know anyway.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't that result in a vast quality drop? As I recall, when you make a picture bigger than it should be, it becomes really awful and pixelated. It could be done, but I'm pretty sure it'd look horrible afterward, hence why I'm asking.
Just a question for those who were around 'round the time of Game of the Decade: There's no chance that there's a wallpaper-sized version of this pic, is there?
Just asking because it's a really sweet work, and it'd be great to have as a computer background.
From: SovietOmega | #244 I bet that will work out just fine!

Man. I really cleaned up my list now. It's pretty much just a couple numbers upgrades and then I'm set for a damn long time.
PS: Incidentally, could I trade the shard I picked up for another item of the same price bracket? Just realized it makes more sense to find one than buy one. >_<
-The party then entered Kulkulat's manse. There, they met the four men who claimed to be Kulkulat, and worked in unison. -After some hesitation and debate between Vanessa and Valerian, battle ensued. Kulkulat was swiftly defeated, leaving Oldport captainless. -The party returned to Sayaburg, with Kim and Beardette in tow, seeking to help the latter overcome her demonification with Saya's help. -The party scattered after handing Beardette to Saya. -Brona and Lloyd got to know each other a bit more, striking up an odd friendship, or at least the beginnings of one. -Kirie and Vanessa sparred. Vanessa came out on top with almost embarrassing ease, but accepted a rematch down the line. -Quentyn flirted with Dubs and Atharathes, to little success. -By contrast, however, just a few words of his were enough to fill Kim up savage lust. She jumped his bones then and there, beating the other two girls to the punch. Quentyn's a big boy now! -Valerian received directions from Saya, pointing him towards Teracor's location. After gathering up courage, he went to find her, discovering she was now a waitress at a restaurant. She was reluctant to speak with him, but at his insistence, she accepted a private meeting with him. -She had very, very harsh words for him, having lost all respect for him. She called him a hypocrite, fool, liar and murderer, and Valerian did not have it in him to refute her. She considered him so far beneat her, so disappointed was she about his actions, that she did not even care to enunciate the entirety of his faults and blunders. She made an attempt to leave... -...Only to be stopped by Valerian, who asked for her forgiveness and, desperately, confessed that he loved her. This was enough to catch Teracor offguard, and soften her heart. She accepted to think about her words, if Valerian promised to come to her side if and when she decided she needed his helpm and not a second before and out of his own initiative. Valerian accepted. -On the way back to the apartment complex, Val bought a few black roses. Thinking of Tera, he attached one to his armor's breastplate. -Everybody reached level 13, then gained 2300 XP. We are currently at 41300 XP.
Summary of the sessions from last week and this one's up to Friday:
-Went on a cultist hunt for Saya, arriving at the college of artificers. -Found one of the cultists, and convinced her of the importance of speaking with Vivi. -Arrived at the hidden meetup below a Snickdonald's, only to meet none other than Vivi herself. -Accusations ensued, as Vivi was revealed to be much less stable now, after losing her younger sister to the universe detonation. Among other things, Valerian snapped at her, then broke down crying, and Amy implied that she should have died with her sister, causing her to fly into a berserker rage. -After much evasive fighting, Valerian caved in the ceiling on Vivi, trapping her, her accomplice Rika, and Amy beneath the buried Snickdonalds. -While the authorities began to excavate the remains, Saya called the party to her to discuss what had happened. The matter of the Raelite cult Vivi had formed emerged, and the party collectively decided to send Miss Right and Reen to a mine, while investigating another. -The mine proved to be mostly a bust. Only a series of inane riddles, the spirit of an ancient barbarian king, and a study awaited the party. -But within that study, the group found a relayed illusion of Rhea, Vivi's third-in-command. After much arguing with her, the party secured a bid to earn their trust: capture Tevaline and Asabew, whom Rhea could track, and hand over their lsland to her. -The party eagerly agreed, and set off to meet Rhea. Together, they conquered Asabew's home with ease, after Valerian broke through her veil of madness with a brutal speech. -To everybody's horror, the party found out that Asabew had ripped Atharathes' tongue out, and broken Learrette once more, this time into a comatose state. Teracor was also missing, but managed to escape. -In spite of their begging, the party handed Asabew and Tevaline, plus Learrette, to Rhea, and departed. -Back at Sayaburg, the party accepted a task from Saya to help extract a friend of hers and his daughter from the nearby city of Oldport, while waiting for Miss Right and Reen. Saya also had some bad news for the party, as she told Valerian that Eren could not be raised without help from a Raelite. -She also gifted the party with an apartment complex all their own, and told them that a pale woman with black hair (i. e. Teracor) had been sighted at the hospital, but had left, leaving a message in the process. That message indicated that she was done with the party, and did not wish to see them again. In exchange for going to Oldport, Valerian asked Saya to locate her. -To guide them to Oldport, Saya recruited Lloyd Fear-Slayer, a monk obsessed with speed that the party had briefly glimpsed back at Saya's island. After a rocky start, the party set off. -On the way, the party was lured into a bandit ambush. It...didn't work well, as even a Dire Wagon wasn't enough to save the bandits. The leader was knocked out and stuffed into a bag before she could ingest cyanide. -At Oldport, the party met Saya's dwarven friend, Axehand. The city had descended into chaos with the death of one of the Top Ship Captains, and now only two remained, Valdaan the Warlock and Kulkulat the Psionic Necromancer. Axehand sought revenge due to Valdaan transforming his daughter, Beardette, into a demoness. -The party successfully infiltrated Valdaan's compound. In the process, Kirie helped a lamed wereshark by giving him a robotic arm. -Thanks to a bit of trickery from Valerian, Valdaan was caught in an ambush and killed before he could react. The party recovered Beardette without a struggle, and took a picture with the image of Valdaan and his sister when they were younger, as well as his coffers. -The party then retreated to rest, awakening the leader of the bandits that had attacked them before, whose name was Kim. On a whim, Vanessa hired her as a retainer to the party.
From: Accel_R8 | #209 It's homebrew crap are you expecting it to be balanced?
I make a point of balancing my stuff! Also, as soon as I detect something broken I go back to nerf it, too. Sadly I forgot most people don't do that. :(
From: Sceptilesolar | #207 It says that the Simulacrum must be commanded; standard for it to take a standard, etc. It's not a big deal.
Ascension should probably not let you change solos/elites to non-solos or elites.
Scep, allow me to clarify something you missed:
Simulacrum gives you several dozen dailies a day.
Yes, it costs actions. It also doesn't matter because you're seriously giving yourself the entire party's fight-enders as many times as you have the money to ritualize. It shouldn't exist, period. If it was limited to at-wills it'd be more sensible, at least.
Ascension is really, really dumb. You could use it to nerf enemies considerably, even after leveling the creature up.
And Simulacrum just shouldn't fly. It literally lets you make a squadron of Valerians, Amys, and Bronas to fry fights with. Just send them in and have them take action instead of you. Most of the other rituals look fine I s'pose, though several powers duplicate them.
EDIT: Teleportaion Circle is kinda 'laff' too - I wouldn't allow it but that's just me.
Definitely prefer some vouchers myself. I rather like getting what I want, though a stock of money also makes some sense. We're murderers, but there's no reason for us to be murderhobos!
From: IhatethisCPU | #188 Right, FSAD taken. Never going to use the Microphone of Corruption's property anyway, and I can have Kira teach it to Kirie properly next time I get a chance.
...I can't believe (Although it's for the best.) I didn't find a copy of Heroes of Shadow before now. How am I supposed to pass up a PP that's capped by a power called 'An Unkindness of Ravens'. >_<
From: IhatethisCPU | #184 Helm of Teleportation, Gloves of Missile Snaring, Broom of Flying. True Portable Hole, (MME.) Necklace of Fireballs, War Ring, and Ring of the Protector. (AV)(Although I'm not sure the campaign'll last until Lev. 18.)
And Polyglot Gems cost 1,800 GP each. 'ere's the description.
Wondrous Item 1,800 gp Property: Each polyglot gem contains the knowledge of one language, chosen when the item is created. As long as you carry the gem on your person, you are able to speak, read, and write that language fluently. If you carry more than one polyglot gem on your person, none of them function. Special: If you create a polyglot gem, you can imbue it only with a language you know.
I'd try Feystep Lacings instead of that helm, and the boon of arrow deflection Dragon 404. That covers two of them, I think - a bag of holding covers another, which leaves the necklace of fireballs (don't take it, it has ****ed up keywords and won't scale well) and the rings. I'd take some Warlocky rings instead IMO, though.
From: IhatethisCPU | #182 The problem is don't see Focused Sound. Ain't in either of the the handbooks, strangely.
Ooooohhh, earlier you were saying that lev 13 'lock encounters are crap. Yeah they are. Sorry. ...I kinda thought you had to balance powers between your classes when you were a hybrid, which is why I've been doing Bard Dailies and 'Lock encounters. <_<
And the other problem I'm having is the items I actually want start popping up at Level 15, hence Kirie needing to be Lev. 13 to get one.
Ohhhhh, that makes sense. Yeah, in that case that's understandable. And no, you don't have to juggle powers at all - as long as you have one power from each class in each category, everything else is cool. This is why I recommend going heavy on bardstuffs for now - they let you strike way better than heroic Warlock powers, and as a neat side effect, they make everybody else more powerful to boot!
PS: Focused Sound is a level 1 Bard power. It's in Arcane Power.
PPS: Which items are you thinking of? Maybe I can suggest something neat you can use.
From: IhatethisCPU | #179 Eh, gonna have to get rid of Dreadful Word (Since I figure you lot still want RI.) next level because of it being Lev. 13 anyway, and I'm not getting rid of MGK. ...Which I'm going to want help with, since I honestly don't see anything worthwhile from the summaries in either of the Bard or Warlock handbooks I've been using.
...And I was kinda figuring that Amy was going to come back eventually, since 'mega mentioned the half-orc being a temp chara.
And I honestly don't have anything I want to pick up until after Kirie hits 13. I could do with some decent boots, but the interesting options aren't available until, again, after 13.
You can pick up an item up to two levels higher with the voucher, IIRC. So don't sweat that, you can take a level 13 item.

If you're ever left wondering 'what should I get', the answer is Touch of Command. Failing that, here's a quickie list of stuff that annihilates the current choices...:
-Focused Sound. -Foolhardy Fighting. -Insult of Passivity. -Song of Storms. -Echoing Weapon. -Prescient Warning.
From: Anagram | #176 KanzarisKelshen posted... From: Sceptilesolar | #172 maybe if people didn't spend too long deciding which of their at-wills to use
hint: it's hypnotism / staggering note I gotta admit, I laughed. Though I don't think it's that, at this point - we just need to make fights take less rounds, the per-round pace is fast enough.
I'm not sure how you want that to happen without just knocking enemies' HP down a peg so that they're less than extremely dangerous.
Manufacture more rounds for us to take that don't require setup. Generate more crits. Get more powerups. Rip more faces.
From: IhatethisCPU | #177 Kanz, I can debuff the crap out of everything without resorting to straight up stupid effects, ignoring the -5 to Will I can inflict once per encounter, and the homebrewed melee that inflicts Dazed (Save Ends) that I can kinda justify having in-story. I consider that enjoyable when I actually get to hit something. Not that I mind you lot killing them while I don't take damage. >_>'
And I never did pick something with the item voucher we got, did I... Where're polyglot gems at, incidentally?
Can you? The -5 to Will only affects a single character now (Quentyn) who always hits even without the help, more or less. And Dazed, while good, is...kind of whatever at this point, because enemies can save at practically any time from what we've seen of them. When I look at your sheet, the encounter powers kind of look like...well, clutter, Sign of Ill Omen aside.
And the polyglot gems are in Adventurer's Vault, though I'd recommend picking up something on the level instead - the gems are so cheap you should be able to buy like eight of them next session.
EDIT: To clarify: Your dailies are good. I don't like Tentacles of Cryonax because enemies have so much HP at this point that 5 damage a turn basically tickles, but it gives slowing, so I can live with that. It's only the encounters that look weak to me, since they don't seem to do much of anything.
From: IhatethisCPU | #174 Incidentally, I dropped Psychic Lock for Linguist (Because Kirie didn't speak Draconic). And just for that remark Scep I'm going to find something to replace Staggering Note, and start using Dire Radience.
Honestly, if you want to suck, CPU...we can't stop you. You're just going to be bored. Every recommendation we make is one that is going to boost fun, because winning with style is fun.
EDIT: Actually wouldn't a polyglot gem be better than Linguist? Quentyn can make you one, I believe.

I gotta admit, I laughed. Though I don't think it's that, at this point - we just need to make fights take less rounds, the per-round pace is fast enough.
From: Sceptilesolar | #168 Speaking of speeding up encounters, I changed my daily power selection a bit. I used to have Destructive Surprise and Howling Hurricane, which I rarely used; I replaced them with Grounding Rebuke and Scent of Victory. The latter should speed things up once they're bloodied.
And next level I get Death on Two Sides, so basically that's a Follow-Up Attack, and Scent of Victory is an All Out Attack...
If you really wanna see hilarity, get a Helm of Heroes. Combine with DfTS. Mix in a Storm of Blades. 'laff'
(As a sidenote, Five Stars Five Strikes'd Storm of Blades is amazing. It's basically this:
From: WazzupGenius00 | #016 That's not how you spell Nightmare Legion, Megalith Array, or Dead on Arrival
actually I could see Megalith Array being anti-hype depending on the situation, like a lame-out chip win. Though if you've got 5 stock in a chip out situation you probably should have won already anyway.
No way man - you can't follow the character's lead while commentating with those moves. In contrast, it's totally legit to go 'Aaaaand get ready for a SHOWSTOPPER!' while doing comments and it'll be mad hype.
EDIT: That said, a win by Goodfellas or Rebirth Ex Machina would also be acceptably hype. Maybe Inferno Brigade too.
From: paperwarior | #003 It's supposed to have some content! Tutorials or something. I'm not expecting like a Blazblue story mode, just something to make it interesting if I can't find anyone to play against.
It's got a very detailed storymode, which is designed to teach you how to play alongside the tutorials, with a big story, THE best tutorials ever in a fighting game (arguably, the only ones that will teach you how to play like a pro), and some incredibly polished mechanics. It's absolutely worth buying.
PS: Also, it has the most hype super move ever. Ultimate Showstopper is the hypest way to win a match ever.
Hey CPU, something I just noticed: With the advent of Soothing Voice and Amy's departure, some of the Warlock powers don't look so hot anymore. I'm wondering, maybe it's a good idea to switch to Focused Sound now? It's a really, really good power to deploy these days with the party we've got, since we have four characters who benefit tons from critting (Vance, Valerian, Brona, and Omega's Monk if he ever joins us).
PS: ...And this totally reminded me - you ever looked at Reckless Attacker Accel? I think you might like it.
