Akebono works for NJPW, so I can't get to him without breaking owner goals, which I'm not willing to do for this. :\ No promises I can get Lethal, but I'm willing to break the pact and try. Mordecai, Shark Boy, and LA Park all look easy enough to snag, though.

Hah, Ryota Hama would've been an amusing substitute but he's written with AJPW
And Scott Hall/Kevin Nash is totally an idea I'd have stolen but I'm trying to make the rookies rookies to WWE at least.
Pro: Scott Hall is an amusing idea though. Though I remember Tom can't hire him.
Anyway going with:
Pro: Mordecai Rookie: Davey Richards
Pro: La Parka (the LA Park version obviously, but package him as La Parka)
If you can't get Davey Richards then replace the Davey Richards pick with Rookie: Jay Lethal and if you can't get him replace it with Rookie: Eddie Edwards and if you can't get him replace with Rookie: Shark Boy.
I'm biased towards Jay Lethal but an RoH world champ being mentored by a guy with a two month career in Mordecai (well Kevin Thorn was around a while but WWE wouldn't acknowledge they were the same guy) is just too good.
-- No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love!
Seriously Tom, don't feel bad about me missing predictions. I really don't about that part of this and just enjoy following along. I just bring it up as it gives me an excuse to be losing.
? Masters/? Ziggler Drew Ryan Melissa No Contest Punk/Nash BONUS: Who's fighting Reks? Glacier

Pre-show: Swagger d. Primo (74); Air Boom d. AAE/JTG to retain (62)
-The nWo theme opens up the show! Punk comes out, wearing a black and white feather boa and somehow managing to do so ironically. He's flanked by Nash and Masters, and all three look pretty pleased with themselves. Punk says they are here to revolutionize the WWE, and that's why they brought back the name of one of the most revolutionary stables in pro wrestling history. HHH cannot continue to ignore them after last night- they absolutely destroyed the title match, to the point where Cena isn't even around tonight! The revolution will continue, and there are more members coming! But tonight, their concern is Morrison and Dreamer. They interfered in things that weren't their business. They're in over their heads, and tonight they'll pay. Rating: 92
-Match: Santino v. Reks Santino's back from....whatever it is he was doing. He gets the upper hand on Reks, but Hawkins decides to insert himself into the match, and the interference winds up being the difference maker. Rating: 67
-Santino is upset with Hawkins for interfering, but quickly realizes he's just started a fight with a tag team. Reks and Hawkins go on the attack, but are soon run off by Air Boom! Rating: 59
-Kane is out to proclaim that last night he exacted his own vengeance on Del Rio! (and if it WAS Henry who took out Kane originally, I guess this is a retcon! >_>) But Kane is a vengeful fellow, and won't stop there. He's going to go beyond an eye for an eye. He's going to break Del Rio, and he's going to take his title like Del Rio took his life. Rating: 82
-Riley and Kelly v. Masters and ??? Apparently, the nWo have a new member to debut...and it's Serena! Serena's back under Punk's tutelage, it seems, and she and Masters fall into a great tag rhythm that the faces can't answer. Rating: 66
-Ziggler is in the ring with Vickie and Swagger. He puts over his victory over Mason Ryan and claims that nobody can take his title. He decides to demonstrate with an OPEN CHALLENGE! It's answered by THE HURRICANE. Hurricane is already a superhero, but he's going to be a bigger hero by finally shutting Ziggler up! Rating: 72
-US Title: Ziggler (c) v. Hurricane Hurricane gets a good match in, but comes up short. Rating: 74
-Match: Gabriel v. Drew Gabriel wins a decidedly non-descript match. Rating: 64
-Gabriel celebrates for a moment, but Slater pooh-pooh's the win and promises to be more impressive! Rating: 69
-Match: Ryan v. Slater It is hard to say if Slater is indeed particularly more impressive, but he DOES get a big win. Rating: 53
-A very nervous looking Del Rio is backstage with Otunga and McGillicutty. He says he has persuaded HHH to make a match with them against Kane if he can talk them into it. Otunga and McGillicutty don't seem likely to be talked into it until Del Rio talks about destiny~ and punctuates it with a bit of cash. Rating: 74
-Match: Melissa v. Maryse Melissa looks deeeecent in her debut match until Beth runs in and flattens her, stopping the match. Rating: 47
-Kane v. Otunga and McGillicutty The mercenary duo manage to play the numbers game for a while, but then Kane manages to play the destroy everything game. Rating: 62

Oh man! I finally updated my sigs! And now KrahenProphet gets to be spelled correctly, too!
-Match: Morrison and Dreamer v. Punk and Nash Very competitive match, even for Nash. Heels look good, but faces get the upper hand after a while....until there's a runin. From. X-PAC. :D This swings things in the nWo's favor, and they secure the win shortly thereafter. Rating: 88
-The freshly minted nWo launch into a staple of their namesake, with a beatdown on the weakened faces. They're breaking out the spraypaint when JOHN CENA hits the ring and cleans house! :O Rating: 87
Post-show: HHH comes out and makes a TAG MATCH PLAYA (100), Cena/Kane/Morrison/Dreamer d. Punk/Del Rio/Nash/X-Pac (60)
Overall: 77 SUCCESS lol angles
FROM THE BOOKERMAN -Melissa is...not over at all. She can't go over anybody without pissing them off. :\ -Man, such a marked difference between the ME and not-ME talent. Works out though, I guess, since I imagine the nWo revival is going to take up a lot of screen time. I am hoping to get Masters and X-Pac and Morrison over off of this. -Hurricane and Ziggles did a pretty good job of things! Both of them could be going somewhere. Or not. Haven't decided yet, but those ARE nice angle and match ratings. -Man, I can't believe I actually went through with specifically making them the nWo.

Oh man! I finally updated my sigs! And now KrahenProphet gets to be spelled correctly, too!
Fairly easy show to start out, save for a few big traps. Everybody was expecting the bonus to be somebody a lot more credible than Santino, so absolutely nobody took Reks. The diva non-finish threw everybody as well, but other than those, everybody did pretty well. Gabriel and Slater's matches threw a few people, but most folks got the two last matches right. New predictors, yay.
PREDICT IT! Superstars, Wk. 1 Nov '11 (It'll be at least next week before I can finalize my NXT lineup, so Superstars isn't done yet.)
Primo v. Chavo Bourne v. Sin Cara II Harts v. AAE/JTG Bryan v. Swagger BONUS: Somebody is going to try to occupy the ring, and somebody else is going to get rid of them. Guess both. (1 pt. each)

KrahenProphet didn't teach me how to make random sigs. Meanie.
From: SemiFinal vs Belarus | Posted: 1/25/2012 1:35:55 PM | #372 was the topic title meant to be taken as a challenge? because, congrats, you 'won.'
well see back when I originally started this diary the title was actually true but then things like Bryan becoming champ and stuff happened and the real booking got better :(

Anyway I'm gonna have to book TNA tonight to keep up after that (I'm technically only half a week behind for the record)-- we're gonna beat WWE for sure. ... the nWo... my god.
Chavo Sin Cara II Harts Bryan BONUS: Swagger occupies, Bryan Flushes
-- No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love!
Now I'm technically caught up. Whoo. Got the next show mostly booked so maybe I'll release it after Superstars, you know, when it'd actually be on TV.
Impact Oct Week 4 2011
SHOWTIME:
Suicide d. Abyss to advance. Abyss gets pissed after the match (72)
Sting says that Hogan and Bischoff aren't too useful to him as is, so he wants them to do something entertaining tonight as announcers-- only one will be safe! Hogan nods and says he'll give it a try, brother, but Bischoff storms out (74)
D'Angelo Dinero d. Bobby Roode to advance when D-Von interferes on D'Angelo Dinero's behalf...? The announcers are confused, but it all becomes clear when they look at the bracket-- if Devon advances now he'll face The Pope next round (69) Eric Bischoff gives a half assed interview to Ariel about why she's saying Jeff Hardy isn't dead-- she goes on a rant about tarot cards and how the Death card was meant for Ric Flair but Bischoff leaves mid-interview (63)
Gunner says he wants one more match with Sting-- he had him last week! Sting accepts, but only if it's a Bat on a Pole match! Bats are legal! (73) Sting d. Gunner by using the bat he brought to the ring with him instead of bothering with the pole. Gunner whines to the ref but he gets no help. (82)
Ric Flair is talking to Orlando Jordan in the mirror again who is again saying Orlando Jordan is coming from him. The scene changes to a large guy in a witch doctor garb/paint sitting at a table that says "Hernandez, Voodoo SUPERSTAR." He gets up, walks over to a monitor, sees Flair going nuts, strokes his chin and walks off (66) (Hernandez's Witch Doctor gimmick gets 82)
AJ Styles d. Devon to advance after Devon's cheating fails. Devon snaps and beats the crap out of AJ screaming "THAT WAS MY CHANCE FOR REVENGE!" after the match. (58) (D-Von's heel turn was a complete success)
Voodoo Priest Hernandez approaches Flair backstage and says he's a professional, he can ward off spirits. Flair responds with "aren't you that Mexican" and Hernandez shows him some weird ID and said he got voodoo training in Africa last week, holmes. Flair sighs and gives it a shot (72)
Austin Aries d. Matt Morgan to advance (79) After the match Aries gloats and says he's the best superstar in TNA because the X-Division title is the most prestigious title in TNA right now with the world title vacant. Mr. Anderson interrupts him and challenges him to a match next week. (60)
Hogan's talking backstage about how he got a great scoop with Kurt Angle and Joe-- Bischoff tries to sneak attack him with BLACK BELT MARTIAL ARTS while shouting "that interview is mine!" Hogan HULKS UP~ and flattens Bischoff! (64) (Hogan's face turn is a complete success!) Angle and Joe are ringside again. Hogan comes to interview them. Angle explains that he and Joe are entitled to be here being paying customers, and that TNA should be grateful they're even selling tickets without real talent (82)
RVD vs Ric Flair. RVD dominates the match-- Flair gets some offense in and the cross the line caution tape again falls from the rafters, but Voodoo Priest Hernandez at ringside wards it away... maybe...? It lands on RVD in any case! RVD continues to fight covered in tape and beats Flair anyway. Hernandez shrugs as Flair yells at him after the match and says he's not a miracle worker. (88)
78 - Success!
-- No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love!
Pre-show: Sin Cara squashed Bateman (64); Yoshi d. RAVEN (54); Dibiase put himself over (60)
-Match: Primo v. Chavo Chavo keeps winnin', Primo keeps losin'. I consider this karma for the massive push Universe Mode insisted on giving Primo in SDvR '11. Boogerhead even won MitB somehow. Rating: 68
-Chavo takes no joy in this win, because he's still stuck on Superstars. If WWE won't give him opportunities, he's going to start MAKING them! He likes the way people like Punk and Awesome Truth are thinking. Rating: 76
-Match: Bourne v. Sin Cara II Bourne comes out on top in the battle of the high fliers. Rating: 57 Great chemistry, poor psychology
-Reks and Hawkins are seen backstage watching the action. They want the tag titles. Rating: 63
-Match: Hart Dynasty v. Estrada and JTG Another solid win for the Harts, although Estrada keeps up somewhat. Rating: 70
-Masters comes out to the ring. His buddies are taking over, and he's going to follow suit by taking over Superstars! He hangs out in the ring putting himself over and daring anybody to try and stop him. "Anybody" turns out to be Daniel Bryan, who just wants Masters out of the ring for the ME. Masters goes for a Masterlock, but Bryan slips out before he can cinch it in, and eventually submits Masters with the LeBelle Lock. Rating: 78 Masters/Punk good manager chemistry except Punk wasn't really on for that segment OH WELL
-Match: Bryan v. Swagger Solid technical match from two of the company's best submission wrestlers. Bryan comes out on top in a clean match, but not before Swagger makes a good account of himself. Rating: 69
Post-show: Melissa tries to get over via promo (57); Divas of DOOM d. Bellas, Melissa/AJ (38)
Overall: 68
FROM THE BOOKERMAN -...Man, Masters and Bryan did really well. Probably a lot of it is attributable to Punk now being set as a manager for Masters, but still, a darned good segment for midcarders. Smidge disappointed in Bryan's match though. -I have no idea what to do with Raven. I thought he'd be more over. He's not over enough to use as anything but a jobber, he's too old to GET over easily, and he has no interest in being a trainer in FCW. -Chavo and Harts continue to steal the show. Expect pushes.
I ACTUALLY REMEMBERED TO DO A NEWSWIRE
too bad it only covers one night
-IMPACT seems to have found its stride over the past couple of weeks. This week's show got an impressive 78, highlighted by a double ME of Sting/Storm and Joe/Jeff.
-CHIKARA Never Again was another solid outing- Quackenbush/Brodie for the title was quality, but the show was stolen by Delirious and his win over UMB.
-Word has it that CHIKARA management was really impressed by Fire Ant last night, despite his not appearing at all. His incredible "sitting around backstage" prowess has made him a rumored cornerstone of the company's plan for the future.
-- No Lynch Kru, assemble! Bring KrahenProphet with you!
Pretty easy show, primarily remarkable for our first instances of getting more than max points. Bourne and the ME threw a few people, but several people got partial credit for the bonus. eddv and Nee are able to protect their lead, but haven't done much to extend it either.
Yoshi v. Chavo (US #1 Contender) ? and ? v. Tamina and Rosa Usos v. Brodus Harts v. Dibiase/Bateman AJ v. Natalya Zeke/Cara v. Henry/Cara II Orton v. Sheamus v. Show v. Ryder v. Bryan v. Carlito v. Barrett v. Christian v. Truth v. Miz (#1 Contender Battle Royal) (Worth THREE points) BONUS: Guess the divas. (1 pt. each)
