Dropping Helpful Fox Senko I think. The show is just so weird. Kinda creeps me out to watch it. There's like, nothing to it. The comedy isn't there, there's no plot, the characters are one dimensional. It's just very, very strange fanservice of a type that does nothing for me. Would rather have an actual animal than an animal girl...

ALSO Wanted to say, LtM, if you haven't checked the Re: Zero dub you should because it's one of the best dubs I've ever seen. I watched Rem's speech and it was better than the sub. So much emotion.

It's not like I was interested in Ingress in the first place, but I just found out that Netflix changed the OST from the original for it's western release to super generic crime drama music, and added a bunch of in appropriate licensed insert music, supposedly to westernize it and increase appeal. Just another nail in the coffin Netflix is trying to put anime in, it's like we're back in 2002.

Her adaptations are usually fine. Don't think anyone criticized what she did with Aria or Toradora or Wandering Son or Blast of Tempest.

Isekai series can have all sorts of MCs. They don't have to be incredibly cliche!

There's a western fantasy series call The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant the Unbeliever where the MC has leprosy and doesn't believe the world he gets transferred to is real, and he ends up raping the first woman he comes across. There's infinite potential for isekais, JP authors usually just don't take advantage of that potential.

Hey I like original works she's been involved in also!

Anohana and Nagi no Asukara good stuff. I also liked a lot of things about Hanasaku Iroha.

Right. But the point is that treating it as an adaptation w.r.t Okada's involvement specifically is laughable

I cant forgive AnoHana for being plagued by awful writing. It really felt like there were 2-3 writing teams for it that couldnt decide what the hell to do with Menma until like the very end of the series and the finale was not the emotional episode it wanted to be.

Sheep007 is pretty new to these topics, but for future reference I hate almost all tsundere characters and Taiga was so bad I couldnt even last 3 episodes. Didnt want to waste my time on the rest when I knew Id hate it. Thank god I didnt watch it during the infamous integrity era
